First time eating here and let me tell you it is the best experience I had. The waitress was super attentive and friendly. Food was so delicious above what I expected. Fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. Lamb chops were the best so was the lule kabob ground beef with Mediterranean rice, humus, salad, garlic paste pita bread and baklava for dessert. They serve filtered water and have plenty of vegetarian options. A must try! Will definitely return.

Outstanding food!! Very friendly staff. While my family chose chipotle I opted to try a new place. I was very pleased and went back tonight for my second lamb chop dinner.

Great little place hiding next to Chipatol near FedEx shipping center. Nice and fresh beef bowl followed up with nice Baklava. Definite worthy desert. As it is hidden between two stores, you will miss it unless you look carefully. Don't miss it though, it is good relaxing meal. Still good after one year has passed, and very enjoyable.

Started with pita bread and hummus, very good! Ordered a gyro pizza and it was phenomenal, crunchy crust, lots of a cheese and delicious lamb meat. I will definitely return to taste one of regular dishes. Great small business, support it!

If you're looking for excellent service in a very clean restaurant with really REALLY delicious Mediterranean food... this is the place. I'm picky. I want to see cleanliness throughout and have attentive service. The Black Olive delivered! The pizza was the very best I've ever had. We will be back time and time again!

Black Olive Mediterranean Food is absolutely delicious! The flavors are fresh and authentic, and every dish tastes homemade. The staff are welcoming and the service is quick and friendly. The portions are generous, and the ingredients always taste fresh. It’s one of my favorite places to enjoy a healthy, satisfying meal. Highly recommend!

Very few people, clean, French music in the background (not loud at all, I was sitting just behind the speakers), and the food was tasty! The portion size was great. My only minor negative is that the baklava portion size was very small for the price (two small squares for $5.99). It was delicious though and I would order it again. But I do wish the portion size was doubled for this dish. Oh, I also liked their hummus! So far I haven't liked the taste of hummus by itself and only with food. So I was surprised that I liked their hummus without any food, including pita. I would definitely come here again for the food and calming atmosphere.

5/2020 Ordered the chicken kabob fam deal which includes: chicken kabob, rice, salad, 1 tub hummus Portions: good amount. Menu states for this deal, there's 40 pcs of chicken kabob. I didn't count. Hefty serving of rice. 1 takeout container size of salad 1 medium size tub hummus. Aroma: Rice smelled good, kabob has that grilled redolence. Salad is wafting with vinaigrette. 6/10 Taste: chicken kabob is not savory at all...as though it wasn't marinated. Very dry. It also imparts this metallic taste (probably from the tin foil container) 4/10. Rice was good but a bit soggy( the foil cover was the culprit. I'm familiar with not covering the prepared dish mise en plat whilst the temp is up) 6/10 Hummus was good but very oily. 6/10 Salad is Salad as a side. N/A points wise. Verdict: will give it a chance by dining in to see if there's any difference. 12/27 update: Chicken kabob meal: Kabob Taste: 10/10 marinated/seasoned well, medium cooked, seared perfectly. Rice taste: ok yet still meager compared to A1, tastewise. Steamed slaw/salad/veggies: Pass but I'll keep the seared half tomato (can we get a whole) and Jalapeños...they're great. Hummus: 7/10 Ok. Good but Noticeably sour...I know classic Hummus is tangy but this goes past it. Maybe how the sesame seeds were prepped or the lemon zest sprinkling. Gotta have that 'hummusumami' flavor please. Service (take out) 10/10 courteous and within time ETA 15 min, received 18 minutes.

The container that they give the sauce in is miniature! To get extra of the miniature sized sauce is $.50!! This is kind of infuriating!!! It’s absolutely ridiculous!!! First of all! At least serve the sauce in a decent sized container, then I can understand you charging $.50 for extra. But really?! That is beyond over priced! That is a complete rip off! Please do better!!

The employees are 5/5 stars. I got the bbq pizza it did taste like a watered down bbq sauce. The chicken tasted hard It lacks its own character. It did take 35+ minutes to prepare. The music should definitely be lowered.

Omgosh never again Will give pros and cons Went for lunch today Friday, Dec 5th. Myself and hubby ordered 2 gyro bowls, I substitute my rice for fries- extra $1 to sub. Our service was polite, fast and friendly. I asked if they had a wrap. Was told they no longer do wraps (meaning a gyro pita wrap/sandwich). Disappointed. SMH. So we decided to get these 2 gyro bowls. The bowls were small. Meat was paper thin (6 small slices) and not that flavorful. My fries were tasty, hubby's rice good, salad fresh tasty, hummus okay. Here's the huge mistake as far as I see for this establishment. My fries came with 1oz (if that) of ketchup. about 2/3 packets of your standard size to go ketchup packet. We were dining in btw. I said to my hubby this is a small side of ketchup. He said, right. So I asked for 2 more. When we were done I went up to front to pay. They print my check and told me the price. I asked to see the bill. I was charged for ketchup not once but twice. I said, you charge for ketchup? They said, yes. Unbelievable, never have I been charged anywhere for ketchup, lol. Nor was there any info on menu about ketchup being extra. Nor was I told by server ketch is extra. Last time we go there. I recommend the Mediterranean resturant on the blvd in lancaster. They give you more gyro meat and meat has better flavor. They also don't charge you for ketchup. 🤦‍♀️ Pros: rice great flavor Salad fresh n tasty Fries crispy Place clean Server friendly Restroom clean and stocked Smelled okay no bad odor Cons: portions small Gyro meat thin and flavorless Ketchup portion extremely small and charges for each small ketchup serving. I put the order under my daughter's name so she could pick it up for me. When she went to go pick it up she was told that they didn't have an order with that name. she told them that I called the Palmdale location one of the servers told her that the numbers for Palmdale and Lancaster were recently switched on Google Maps so to go to Lancaster that they would probably have the order there. Thankfully I called her and caught her in time and confirmed that I called to place the order was in fact the Palmdale location. When I called the restaurant back to see where the confusion had come into play the supposed manager who took my order and also gave my daughter the wrong information couldn't have cared less and offered nothing to rectifythe situation. This places service is TERRIBLE.
