Girasole Parabiago Reviews
Very good pizza. We found this pizzeria on Deliveroo and decided to try it for the first time. Against all expectations, the pizza was delicious and the delivery was very timely. We'll definitely be back! We needed a pizzeria like this with home delivery in the area.
1 week ago. First time. Very good pizza. Top-notch fried pizza!!! Definitely worth a try. I ordered and picked it up personally, at the requested time. Home delivery hasn't been tried yet.
I'm giving it three stars only because when I made the reservation, they didn't warn me that I'd have to wait almost 40 minutes. Anyone who wants to pick it up directly should call as soon as possible to pick it up. Neapolitan pizza for those who like this type of pizza. It seems good, but the ring around it is a little chewy. Remember, this is a personal review, so I recommend trying it.
A good pizza for people like us who like Neapolitan-style pizza, with a high, soft crust. For a takeout, it's not bad. The menu is a bit too extensive, with an endless variety of pizzas, so it takes a while to choose :-) In any case, the ingredients are high-quality, and the dough is also good. A true assessment of the pizza should be made by eating it straight from the oven, and unfortunately, for a takeout pizzeria, that's not possible. Regardless, considering this and the fact that the pizza is still good once you get home, I'd say it's an excellent takeout pizza :-)
What can I say, the pizza is good, one of the best in the area, but the sore point is the punctuality, they never respect the delivery times and not a little even 1 hour late, so if you have a lot of patience, no commitments, no children, no guests, be patient, sooner or later it will arrive (more later than sooner) but it's worth it.
I always get pizza here, and honestly, I like the pizza itself, but that's another matter... they're very confused. I always order a marinara pizza for my daughter WITHOUT GARLIC. I write it everywhere in capital letters and say it everywhere, but this will already be the 4th time I've received pizza with garlic 🤔😅 I order and pay for two 66cl Moretti beers, and they bring me two small Messina beers (by doing so, I paid the price of the 66cl beers, but I received smaller beers that cost less). I would say one thing: I think you should read the orders like 4/5 times before delivering them because they're not serious mistakes, but after the 20th time, you get pissed off. 😁
We've been getting pizzas from them for a while now, and they're truly delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients. It's one of the few places where I get the crust and it's worthy of the name pizza. What really gets on my nerves, and why they don't deserve the other two stars, is that in the last few months, 3 out of 5 deliveries have been delayed by 20 minutes or more. I should point out that, knowing how busy they are on weekends, I always ask them for a delivery time. I live on the same street as the pizzeria, so I could easily pick it up in person. However, to avoid long lines outside the restaurant and to give them more time to organize their deliveries, I always prefer to pay for the delivery and let them decide the exact time, which varies every half hour. For two deliveries, I called to request a response and to get an explanation for the delay, which was more than 20 minutes, so a total of 50 minutes for a delivery less than two minutes from the pizzeria (I probably figured they'd save me for last before returning to the pizzeria, and therefore I'd be the one accumulating the delay of all the others who take ten minutes to come down to pick up their pizzas). For one, I had set myself a maximum delay of 15 minutes, in addition to the half-hour margin they allow, after which I wouldn't have picked them up, and they arrived two minutes early. Next time, I'll send the pizzas back, even if it's not my nature. For the other two deliveries, there was no problem, only because they were on a Wednesday after 9:00 PM. Although I'm a regular customer and only mentioned the last deliveries they made, and I'm trying to be reasonable, having given them several options before writing this review, I think it's more correct to say: "We can't make you pizzas, or absurdly, we can make them for you by 11:00 PM." Guys, I'm sorry you're losing out on so little because I have nothing to say about the product you provide.
I ordered two pizzas for delivery. They were really small, and I honestly don't understand why. One of them also had prosciutto crudo (San Daniele ham on the menu), but it obviously wasn't San Daniele and was sliced very thick, with a flavor that didn't live up to its name. I was honestly very disappointed and don't think I'd order from them again.
After a long time without ordering, we tried again. Nothing changed. Just Eat shows availability, and upon confirmation, they cancel your order. Over the phone, they explained: "No, no delivery to Parabiago tonight, we have too many orders... this right at the start of service at 6:50 PM." Since it's happened far more often than is tolerable, I recommend this pizzeria remove itself from Just Eat for municipalities they can't cover; at least they're not wasting anyone's time. Two stars only because the pizza is good, zero stars for the organization.
It's the first time I've chosen to get pizza here. I ordered two pizzas around 7:20 PM. Delivery was scheduled between 8 and 8:30 PM, but no one showed up. I called and were told the delivery man hadn't returned. The pizzas were delivered at 8:45 PM, and we were charged two euros for delivery! Two euros for 1 km! They could have told us this over the phone, so we could have picked it up ourselves! Personally, I didn't like the pizza. I got sausage and chips with whole wheat dough, heavy chips, and a lackluster dough. Unfortunately, disappointing.
Good pizza, good dough, and good ingredients. Punctuality is terrible. Not once has the delivery been on time, neither on weekends nor during the week. I understand that there may be a lot of orders, but it would be more honest to give a more accurate time or to refuse the order if they can't keep the scheduled time. I'm very sorry because the pizza is worth it, but a 40-minute delay is unacceptable.
The pizza is also good, but you can't call an hour before picking it up, then since I went they make me wait another hour before picking up the pizzas. I can understand it being a Saturday, but it's not tolerated by a pizzeria with all these years of experience. If I had taken the Freccia, I would have gone to Naples to eat it and come back to pick up the pizzas. (Answer the phone, it's not a call center.)
It's not the first time it's happened but the pizza was without salt... I can forgive one mistake but not two.
Dear I must very politely report that last night, too, my pizzas were delivered an hour and a half late. I called at 6:00 PM to deliver three pizzas and was given a 7:30/8:00 PM delivery time. At 8:30 PM, I called back and was told they were on their way out. The time it took them to arrive...they arrived at 9:05 PM. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time; in fact, if I can, I always choose an earlier time slot. I don't understand...wouldn't it be better to immediately announce there will be a delay so the customer can wait if they want, otherwise they're free to choose. We all work, and not picking up the order seems really rude and uneducational. The fact is, the pizza is good, but it takes a while to arrive. I hope you'll accept my criticisms so we can improve.
Not once does he deliver the pizza on time. Half an hour late if you're lucky, several times even 45 minutes, an hour. It's a shame because the pizza is good, but they deliver it whenever they want.
I ordered a takeout pizza at 6:00 PM with an 8:30 PM pickup date, but it wasn't honored in the slightest. The pizzas came out of the oven at 9:30 PM, and one of them was even cold. Worst pizzeria in the area, terrible pizza quality, terrible location, terrible service. I don't think there's a positive aspect, perhaps the chairs to wait on during the endless wait. I don't understand how certain businesses can stay open. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy. Anyone reading this, be warned: in addition to the excruciating wait, the pizza will be digested within two weeks, given that in the rush of the pizza chefs (multiple award-winning with certifications at the restaurant, I'm still wondering what for) the pizzas are all baked with raw dough. Be careful, don't wish yourselves ill, customers!!!!
Several months after my last bad experience, I find myself wanting to give a place a second chance. The pizza quality is very good, but the service is truly awful. I call at 5:30 PM and ask for delivery at 8:30 PM. I'm immediately told the delivery time will be between 8:30 and 9:00 PM. I cross my fingers and wait, hoping this time I'll get better than the previous ones. Instead, at 9:06 PM, I get a call telling me I'm running late and that the pizza won't arrive for at least 20 minutes. At this point, given the uncertainty of when the pizza will arrive, I give up and go for a plate of pasta. I'm truly speechless.
