Amazing coffee! Wonderful atmosphere. Great outdoor seating. Really cool scene with vintage skateboards on the wall and other neat art. Staff is super nice and the owner Brett is an admirable and rad dude! Overall great experience!!!

Amazing service to any and all who go in! I ordered there Black and White Mocha and it is one of my favorite options. The interior decor makes you feel at home and the outside dining they provide gives an amazing feel during this difficult time of COVID-19 I would recommend it this over a Starbucks coffee because of the taste and service they provide!

My favorite coffee shop ever. It has its really busy times but the line moves fast. Cool vibes and nice people. Of course, the coffee and coffee drinks are amazing, but the food is also fantastic. Love the garlic chicken flatbread and the breakfast burrito.

I just love that they sell a 24 oz and whenever I ask to have a breakfast burrito without bacon they are always friendly to offer avocado. Super busy and still very friendly, they answer the phone to take my order which helps accommodate having my puppy with me. Love the relaxing water fountain and shade, we definitely felt welcome 💕✨♿🐕🧘

Cool environment and great coffee….gets pretty busy at times but it is expected when a place offers great product. I usually have Gabbi take my order (just happens that way) and she knows me by my first name and my order, that definitely feels like they pay attention and care.

According to my 11 year old, the Mediterranean was “the best bagel thing I’ve ever eaten”. He even ate the entire cabbage salad. <3

Great coffee shop/sandwich shop. I am probably addicted to their fresh peanut butter cookies. Pleasant staff, clean bathrooms, and a floor plan that allows for private conversations or open areas. If you are in the area it is definitely worth scouting this great new spot.

I used to go to this one before the other one opened. I like this one, though I like their other location more. The other location is larger, which tends to meet my needs more. I have posted up and studied at this shop before, I just need space to spread out my math stuff and the other location tends to have a bit more room. This shop is cozy, staff is super friendly, awesome art, good coffee and food. All the yums! Swell place to hang out and drink some coffee.

Awesome place to grab a quick bite and a coffee qhile studying, reading, or meeting friends. There is often a rotation of local art on the wall. Small table seating inside, some bar seating, and patio seating on both ends of the building makes for a lot of opportunity. Never too loud despute how packed and great service. They have their own coffee brews and a good size menu.

Nautical Bean is by far one of the coolest coffee shops I've ever been to! Awesome ambience, great, friendly service, and not to mention: delicious coffee! (I had the Peruvian Organic with two added shots and a splash of half-n-half!!) This whole experience made for a wonderful pitstop on our way back to Los Angeles! Thank you, Nautical Bean =)

Nutty Bean is the best decaf I've ever tasted. I will be regularly buying bags of it as my every day coffee. Great bag design too (perfect combo of 80s+skate). I switched to decaf a few years ago for sleep reasons, and it's rare that I come across a good decaf roast. But even compared to standard roasts, Nutty Bean is incredible.

This is my favorite Nautical Bean -- even if the Baywood store has the best view in all of Central Coast -- the vibe in this strip center coffee center succeeds in the face of its location. Being in the center of the strip center helps and their is nearly always a buzz inside of people meeting friends and chatting quietly. The music selection is always on point -- usually progressive rock or 80's Smithesque selections (I am already getting a jolt of caffeine, don't really need heavy metal or punk). The food is same as other NB's -- but they pay attention to the order and are very quick on heating up the breakfast items. Peru coffee is the tops here -- no matter your palette. Outstanding cup of coffee. Lots of milks, syrups, sugars and cinnamon plus cocoa for your drink too.

Their "House Drink" menu looks interesting and unique + Cabbage & Chicken Salad is fresh and large, but the dressing is a little bland. Also, the ramen noodles are an odd touch + Tuna Melt tastes fresh and healthy. Not greasy like most melts I've tried. The side of cabbage slaw is very underwhelming. Overall, the food is just okay. + Super easy parking + Convenient location by lots of shopping and eateries. + Nice outdoor seating + Good wifi + They offer "sippy" lids now to replace the use of straws CONS: - A little on the dim side. Other than that, everything else is perfect. Love this spot!

The coffee was great and the vibe of this spot was good but the food was not. To quote my friend who ordered breakfast burrito“ the hotel breakfast was better” it was soggy and salty. I ordered the monkey bread which other reviews called flavorful , it had almost no taste. I personally had no problem waiting a long time for my coffee but just A heads up don’t go there if you’re short on time.

Stopped for first time Sunday at 12:30. Extremely busy, but a lot of staff. Had to wait a long time for breakfast because I think they forgot ours at first. Coffee pots were out and would be nice if they offered a gluten free bagel sandwich or gf bread option.

This is going to be a strange review for me because I loved my drink and the atmosphere, but the end experience left a bad taste in my mouth. As they were closing, I asked if I could use the restroom before leaving and the employee said yes but that I would have to leave from the back. It wasn’t quite yet 4:00 when I finished, so I walked back up toward the front to leave, but she intercepted me and told me to leave through the back. I did as she asked and had to walk around the entire building to get to my car, as it was parked out front, which is fine, except when I walked past the front door of the coffee shop, the same employee was letting other customers out through the front door. It’s these small encounters that can make or break someone’s experience, so perhaps this young employee could have been a bit more courteous to me.

Great food and great service. However, the owner should take some social skills on how to relate to customers. Whatever the request is by your customer take a second and try not to let your ego take hold. For the record. Don't instruct them on what they should look at behind your shoulder. You're a store owner not a boss of the world. Take note. I'll be taking my service else where. So when someone asks for room for cream? Just say sure. Not your loud mouth opinion. Unbelievable. Dude.

I got a pumpkin spice latte and a pumpkin muffin (basic, I know). They were good. -2 stars for the lady behind the counter. Watched her be incredibly rude to a few customers who had done nothing wrong. The drama was sort of entertaining, but the treatment wasn't acceptable. Edit: This was on February 25th. I haven't been back since. Not trying to get anyone fired, but encouraging a more polite approach to customers would be nice.

Drink recipes great. This location always has a mistake somehow. Very disappointed today my order was forgotten. Then made wrong. Employees made me feel I had no right to say anything. If I wasn't forgotten why did you give me a cup with no writing when you asked my name and wrote it in the cup? I work in hospitality too. Sometimes it's better to say sorry then pretend nothing is amiss. 5 dollars of disappointment.

Good coffee, but the loudest coffee shop I have ever been in. They ran the vacuum and blender the entire time I was in there (around an hour) so was completely unable to talk with my girlfriend. I've managed stores before and you should always do any loud cleanup after closing. Especially with customers in there.

I love the nautical bean in Los Osos but the one in SLO on Los Osos Valley Road goes out of their way to charge me for double avocado sometimes, only to put the SMALLEST AMOUNT IVE EVER SEEN. If I’m getting charged for avocado TWICE then I better get a good portion of avocado. They don’t even give me enough to cover one half of my bagel. Again, the store in osos does me right, but the one in SLO does me dirty time and time again and the employees are not as kind either!

Had a bad experience today. Ordered a cappuccino like I always do, and it was not made properly, could not drink it, tasted like coffee grounds, took it back and ordered a latte instead. The barista told me it was fine and next time I should just order a latte. I let it go. Then my brother went to use the bathroom and it needed a code to enter, so he asked one of the staff and they said the code is on your receipt, who says that to a customer? Who would know that and who keeps their receipts? Just give him the code. My brother just walked out, will not be going there anytime soon.
