This was one of the best Denny's experiences I've ever had. In spite of ongoing mask requirements an social stress around it, the staff were all super professional. A diner is meant to be a place of comfort and this staff pulled that off like champions. Quite crowded at midday on a Sunday. Lots of Christian families having lunch after church. Very nice inexpensive comfort food and very peaceful spiritual space.

This is a very nice Denny's. It looks quaint from the outside, but is very modern inside. It was super clean, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. If you're lucky, you will get Marissa as your server. She was very attentive to my needs. The food was served hot and fresh. It was all delicious. I have not been to a Denny's in years due to mediocre food and service and run down facilities. This Denny's make me want to go back and try more to see if they have all changed. Either way, thus Denny's in Pasadena, California on historic Route 66 is worth the trip.

Food was good for lunch. Grilled cheese sandwich with potato soup for Mom and a club sandwich with fries for me. Our waitress was so busy with a large lunch crowd that customer service was spread a little thin but it's not her fault. I would be frazzled too if I had to serve a crowd during lunch time. We have been there for early morning breakfast and service was excellent. Service depends upon the number of customers served.

Consistent food. Get the patty melt once a week. The price is fair, and the server Marian is quick, always bringing a refill before my drink runs out. She is also easy on the eyes, which is a bonus.

The waitress here we're so amazing! My daughter is 2yrs old and is at that phase of wanting to order her own food and the waitress was so kind and patient and happily took my daughters order to go and offered her crayons and coloring menu and let us sit at a booth even though it may have made her miss a table in her section. For a place who makes money off of quick turnovers,I was very pleased with the service so much,we ate there 2 more times that week. I hope the waitress didn't mind the picture but I knew I was going to do a review and she deserves credit for being so awesome.

Danny’s has truly become one of my favorite spots. Both times I’ve come, it’s been late at night, and despite how busy they were, Joyce, Cecili, and Lilian took such great care of me. Their customer service isn’t just good it’s fantastic. They’re intentional about every order, making sure everything is just right. What really stands out is how consistent they are. My food always comes out hot, fresh, and fast, no matter how packed the place is. It’s clear they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in what they do. If you’re looking for a spot that values quality service and great food, Danny’s is definitely worth checking out. They all definitely deserve to get a raise :)

This place is always clean and the staff is very friendly. I have come here repeatedly for more than a year and every time I have been satisfied with the food and service. The restaurant is always very clean, has plenty of seating space and you get good value for your money. The staff is wonderful and you get a true American diner experience. I highly recommend the Crazy Spicy Sizzling Skillet with Eggs.

We picked up breakfast on Easter morning. Ordering was easy, and the food was prepared quickly. The container kept the pancakes separate from the other food. It was warm and prepared as ordered. We all enjoyed our meals.

Good restaurant nice atmosphere for a bite to eat 1 on 1 or in a group. ONLY THING I WILL WARN YOU ABOUT is the shady and Jenky claw machine game. Its missing the counter weight needed to hold on to the Prize. Scam for sure.

Everything you would expect from a Denny's. Mediocre everything, but they let my kids order mac 'n cheese for breakfast, so everyone was happy.

Waitresses were funny and relatable, and the food was amazing. One of my first time getting lunch here and it did not disappoint. I had leftovers to take home. I recommend the Sample Platter (or Sample plate, whatever it was called)

I ordered food to go and went inside to order. It was so fast and everyone inside was friendly..i was so happy because I was just coming off a graveyard shift that morning. Biscuits and gravy were delish and the scrambled eggs were light and fluffy.

We have been eating at this Denny's for many years. We eat breakfast there fairly often. Over the years, we have become friendly with the female servers, and we receive terrific service. A few nights ago, we were out, and we were hungry for a quick bite of dinner. So, we went to Denny's. We were seated immediately. We received excellent service from the waitress. We always leave feeling satisfied. I can recommend this location without hesitation.

I didn't even go here but google asked me to review it. Its looks nice and I would probably eat here if I hadn't just been to McDonald's

This is a very nice Denny's. It's clean and the food is tasty for both takeout or dine-in. I ordered a Double Cheeseburger with Fries $13.69 and it was fantastic! The fries were perfectly hot and crispy with a generous portion and the burger while a bit greasy was fresh and flavorful. Great place for late night munchies and all the servers are friendly. Free parking in back lot.

The night manager (a beautiful Asian woman) was graceful and kind and accommodating. She was quick, polite and friendly and made me feel welcome and she served with the customer in mind. You get the sense that the other worker lady is talking mess- but it doesn't bother the manager who just stays kind and courteous. The food was delicious - I got an everyday slam with brioche bread french toast, eggs and bacon!

This particular Denny’s always has great quality food, consistently. The coffee is warm and freshly made, and I’m personally a fan of the Super Slam, which at this Denny’s in Pasadena- the hash browns are crispy and never too salty, the eggs aren’t runny and I can taste the good protein, and finally the sausage and bacon are both deliciously delightful with whichever available sauce you choose to pour on them: Tabasco, Cholula, and/or Heinz Tomato Ketchup. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! 🤩🙌🥞

Everything you need for breakfast in the morning with your family on vacation. Hot coffee, pancakes and eggs just the way you want it. No fuss just breakfast!

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon. Had vanilla berry crepes which came with hashbrowns, 2 eggs, and bacon. No complaints, everything was good. Crepes were not too sweet, just sweet enough. The waitress was very helpful and polite. They do not have the $2,$4,$6,$8 menu at this location, so keep that in mind. If you want the free birthday deal, you need the barcode from the app i think? Or you have to sign up or something. Decent amount of parking. If you are coming with a group, there is a round table toward the back of the restaurant if you need that.

Although the food was good, the onion rings and eggs were quite greasy. If I had thought about it, I would have requested my bacon be cooked a bit more (I prefer it a bit crisp; it was cooked, but not crisp at all.) I keep urging them to carry some other types of pancake syrup - they only have "maple." The waitress was adequately attentive but not more than average. As for the atmosphere, the place is small and casual - only slightly above that of a Waffle House.

Great service! I came here on Christmas Day and it was pretty busy! Surprisingly we got seated quickly (2 people) and the server and bussers were on top of it. I was grateful they were open that day. I very much enjoyed my food. My boyfriend said his was OK, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I'd definitely come back.

Place was pretty empty when we arrived. So that's probably why we got what we ordered so quickly. Ordered and food came out after about 10min. Eggs were a little runny (I ordered them over easy). Everything else was good. The hashbrowns with melted cheese and grilled onions was suggested by our server and I'm glad I agreed cause they were excellent.

It's Denny, not a 5 star restaurant. I paid 45 bucks before tip for breakfast for two people so not the cheapest but average nowadays. I would definitely go back, it was damn good, I loved my breakfast and the fries were good

Dennys is the place to be for late night cravings. They have the best pancakes in town. Very affordable and the seats are great. Sometime the service takes long and the steak is not cooked the way you like it. But overall its good!

The food was great except for the T-Bone steak which was not up to par for the price. Ample parking, easy location right off the highway.

A couple years ago I would have said Denny’s was expensive. Now the prices to dine out are all roughly the same. The kids menu and the 55+ menu are a great deal. Everything else expect to be around $15 and $4 for coffee. Only gripe I had was that the bacon was well done. I like some crunch in my bacon but these strips were all crunch!

I had the Grand Slam breakfast for lunch. I think it was on sale for $6.99. It came with 2 eggs ( I chose sunnyside up), pancakes, hash browns, sausage and bacon. The pancakes and eggs were really good as they were cooked fresh. The hash browns etc tasted like they were cooked an hour before. Still a pretty good value for what you get. Service was very good.

Delicious sandwiches and onion rings. Service was quick and staff was very good. parking in the back or street parking. Little diners, not many more around.

Predictable! The menu tells you what you get. It's dining by pictures, so to speak. Thankfully, I could substitute the hash browns with fresh tomato slices. The service was good and reasonably fast. Gladly, I could use my AARP loyalty card for a discount.

Took my daughter for late breakfast and had build your own pancakes, hash browns, bacon and sausages. I was disappointed with sausage as they looked and tasted like it was cooked in microwave. I took a bite and it was still cold from inside. So I told the waitress it's undercooked and then she brought 2 more microwave sausages. It was disgusting.

This location is good enough. The staff is nice, the food is decent, but nothing extra to give it 5 stars. My party was of 8 people and we asked to be seated together, yet we were seated at two separate booths. Keep in mind that this was around 10:30 at night and fairly empty. It also took about 20 minutes to get a cop of water, not even talking about the food.

Got the Grand Slam with a side of toast. The overeasy eggs were cooked though, little to no yoke 😔, hash browns were crispy, cooked to perfection. The bacon was rubbery. And the pancakes were fluffy and delicious. I was a bit taken aback that the side toast (2 small pieces of sourdough bread with a squirt of butter) was $3.29...definitely not worth it. All in all it was ok.

The burger I got was honestly trash. No flavor and the meat was tough/possibly old. Not really the fault of the workers they seemed nice I assume it's just how Dennys tastes.

I don't know what happened? Last year food and service was very good. Now the food was horrible. The steak was cold first. The second one was soaked in water with no taste. Mashed potatoes were no more then 2 tablespoons. Last week i had breakfast and wasn't good either. Mistakes on the bill, not enough personnel. New owner? New cook? Bad bad bad. .

Warning: This particular Denny’s often doesn’t pay attention to ordering details when ordering online for delivery. For example, today I ordered two dinners for takeout, each with two sides. Delivery driver delivered with the fresh seasonal fruit side ($1.19 extra for each) MISSING from both dinners. My advice if you decide to order takeout from this Denny’s is to pick it up yourself in person and don’t leave until you check that your order is correct. This was the second time ordering delivery and the second time items were missing! I ordered delivery because of lack of time to make the trip to Denny’s myself. Money was spent on items (fruit) not delivered. Otherwise the food was good.

Went in around 2am to order take out for myself. This location wasn’t really busy,had a few tables occupied,I wasn’t greeted,but the steady stream of drivers picking up orders were taken care of hand and foot. I waited a total of 10 minutes before I decided to give up and go to Jack in the box. I’m well aware of labor shortages,and sympathetic to this issue facing multiple industries,but a simple “ I’ll be with you asap” would have forestalled my leaving and spending money elsewhere.

They do not know how to make milkshakes asked if he can add ice to it or something and he put more ice cream left it blending too long went to the back came back and still liquid . I used to work at Denny’s . Not hard, a milkshake is supposed to be a little thicker than your normal liquid . Just saying .

Our waitress was short with us. She never came to check on us. We had to ask other people for stuff or get up and get it ourselves. Not to mention the roaches we observed crawling around on the booth across from us. I would NEVER eat here again. The manager was informed of the roaches we saw and he said he would look into it. I really hope he did.

Probably the worst food I had in the US so far. Stay away from anything beef, SPECIALLY the brisket, as it's just reheated meat thats dry and barely edible, tasted funky too. Pancakes are good though, but seriously, stay away from the brisket.

Extremely poor customer service, our waiter came rushing to get our order, I wasn't even done when she skipped to my son. The last time we saw her was when she brought the food. My son had to stand up to get napkins, sauce and creamers for the coffee. The food was ok.
