I know it was the weekend but this place was hopping!! The staff were on it!! Didn't have to wait for anything. The Malibu Burger was off the hook, super juicy. I do not regret getting it. The fries were perfectly done with the absolute just right amount of crispiness. Bathrooms were super clean. Plenty of parking. Love that surfing is on one channel and football on the other. I wish I could afford to come more often. Downloaded the app and got a coupon. Score!!!

This was way better than I expected going in for the first time. The portions were surprisingly large, like I could easily see two people splitting one sandwich. Everything tasted great. It's not my favorite place, but it's definitely up there.

BEACH VIBES + SURFING MOOD with GREAT FOOD? Try Bleunami burger and Moa Kai (Tuna) sandwich for your main dishes and you'll know I didn't lie. The meat are very juicy and yummy. Buns are really great too; you can choose between white or wheat (mines are both wheat). These two come with fries as a side each. Upgrade for truffles, cheddar, etc, for a few bucks but I'd recommend leaving the original fries too because they're simply GREAT!! Crispy inside out, not too thick, lightly salted - MY (personally dreamed) PERFECT FRIES!! Feel free to ask for up to 5 complimentary sauces; honey mustard, blue cheese, ranch, bbq and 1000 island. For a healthy high fiber choice, I totally recommend Beach Bowl which is a veggie + protein mix served on top of brown rice. I went for both sauce options they have and asked for separate portions - both of them are really good OMG. For drinks (or dessert maybe?), try Lemon Freeze if you like zestiness + some ice cream feeling (it's lemonade blended with vanilla ice cream). I'm so amazed and impressed by the cherry on top - a cute & lovely surprise!! Finish your awesome meal with Fudge Brownie which is sweet hot fudge topped with vanilla ice cream. It's extremely nice and smooth-y. The fudge texture is SO GOOD!!

ABSOLUTELY a GREAT place to stop for a meal!!! Between the amazing food and the satisfying drinks, there isn't a better place to spend a Saturday night! If you come here though, be sure to try their famous Mai Tai's! They're simply superb!

We enjoyed our meal at Islands today. I'm really happy to see all of the noticable improvements since my last visit. The food was great. Michelle and her trainee Joseph were great as well.

Visited the Pasadena location this weekend. Locations where we lived in Sacramento had been closed so we were looking forward to our meal. We were sat way in the back at a table a little too small for two adults. We had a great time. Unfortunately, cleaning was started while we were eating which consisted of spraying Olde English on chairs, tables, cushions right next to and behind of where we were seated. All we could smell was the micro particles of an aerosol can of Old English. The service was great. Food was like it usually is, good and tasty. I did let our server, Karen (she was great!) know and also the person that was cleaning but all I got from the person cleaning was a "sorry, I'm just doing my job", which is unacceptable. Called in and talked to the manager. Let's hope they rethink spraying aerosols while guests are still dining. A Wikiwaki salad, one burger, fries and 1 beverage for 2 cost us $60, not including tip.

Finally, I had the opportunity to try islands out and tried the Hawaiian chicken sandwich and the mini burgers with fries. Both were really good, the food is good but a bit on the pricey side in my opinion but other than that I have no complaints.

Looked good but too much cumin in my salad and in the salsa; rice was super sour. Thank goodness I ordered fries, which were great. Loud. And servers were extra loud as they congregated outside kitchen area.

Came to try their Double Stack Burger Lunch Break special $9.99 and it was alright. The taste resembled a burger from the Habit or In in Out which are good as well. The Island Fries we're hot and crispy and the young man who served me was nice. Free parking in lot.

Awesome place to get a good burger with Hawaiian twist. I love their Hula burger which is a burger with sautéed mushrooms. Their burgers are grilled to perfection with amazing taste. But one of the best unexpected dishes is their tortilla soup. For $10, you can have unlimited soup. This soup is filled with shredded chickens and tortilla chip with delicious and authentic Mexican cooking. Typically I would just come here for their unlimited refill tortilla soup. During the pandemic, Islands has outdoor dining. They take the virus seriously. All employees wear masks and gloves. All outdoor tables are placed in good distances. We came to dine here for lunch. We had excellent service from our waitress. She got our order out in no time. Before we left, she got us a to go drink. Very thoughtful of her. Great to have leisure dining outdoor under the sun and a nice breeze.
