Tonya was amazing today! She was so helpful and explained the gift card vs online gift card. I always love the Hayas Valley Espresso! It is my favorite out of any coffee shops' Espresso roast! I can't wait to come back!

The coffee was great and the staff was friendly. I bought some of the small canned cold brew and whole bean for personal grinding and both were fresh and excellent quality as well.

This was my first blue bottle experience and I have to say the service was excellent. The barista knew their coffee and also was friendly and called me by my name.

Lovely baristas that make lovely coffee. The blueberry teacake was deliciously fresh and moist.

very simple and low key location, however, service is amazing. did mobile order for my coffee to avoid waiting in line and they had my coffee ready within 3 min, even tho on the app is said 10-15 min prep time.

Small but really fantastic location in the old town Pasadena area, and definitely upholding the high standard I expect of the brand! Great to swing by during a day of shopping, running errands, post-lunch pick me up, or simply just walking around and catching up with a friend. I always get their oat milk lattes, matcha lattes, and big bottles of their cold brew concentrate, and this location delivers on all of those items as per expected. I think the size is the only thing they don’t have a leg up on over other locations, but the outdoor seating is definitely nice for when the weather permits, and obviously isn’t something they have control over!

I got their Nola cold and it was one of the best iced coffee drinks I’ve ever had. It was very smooth, creamy and an overall solid pick me up for the morning, I highly recommend this one. I’d definitely come back again to try their other menu items.

Excellent little spot. the inside is clean and minimalistic and the pour over options are plentiful. We have the Kenya roast and I had the mocha and both tasted clean with no bitterness! Smooth, flavorful, and full coffee. Definitely recommend it! Additionally, they have an outside patio that is really quaint and great for intimate conversations.

Highly Recommend Newly opened cafe/coffee roaster in Old Town Pasadena with a near cult-like following. They have a way of bringing out notes in coffee that I’ve never tasted before. It is very good!! I had a Bella Donovan pour over with notes of raspberry and dark chocolate. SO GOOD!! I believe they have a rotating menu on roasts each day so there’s always the opportunity to try something new. They have plenty of seating outside which is great. Patio seating is sometimes hard to come by in Old Town.

The outside seating area is cute. I liked their winter dream coffee. There was a line and it was crowded on the inside but that’s expected on a Sunday I guess.

The ambiance and vibe draws you in for a longer stay so make sure to bring a favorite book or journal to pass the time. During times when most store owners have staffing shortages, Blue Bottle Coffee has a full staff available to serve in a timely manner. Not only are they responsive, they made the overall customer experience worth repeating day in and day out. I’ll definitely be back.

i got a hot chocolate 🍫 for free because they have coupons where they’ll make you a drink for free or a drink that’s at most $5 for free. where to get those coupons is still a mystery to me since the lovely barista olivia dropped it off at my job ! as a strong coffee hater, it makes me happy this place has options such as tea and flavored sparkling water 💦 not an ideal place if you are claustrophobic or can’t stand tiny spaces✨

Cute seating area to safely wait for your order. The coffee is delicious. The staff was knowledgeable about the different brews offered and hit the nail on the head when I asked for a dark roast, not bitter.

Coffee is good but a tad over priced. Had campfire but didn't taste like marshmallow not gramcracker like the description indicated. Just tasted like a plain pour over.

This place was cool. Kinda small but there is outside seating. The individual pour coffee is pretty sweet and the missus really liked her iced winter nola (I am not sure what it is). The drinks are only one size. It's pretty sweet, give it a try.

I know they are purists and have a very high standard of coffee so I assumed everything on their menu would be intentional, matcha was pre made and pre sweetened, the taste was anything but pure. Was expecting a much better product from them. Kind staff and lovely place, but cannot recommend the matcha

Get the bright ice coffee. Came back after quarantine. Coffee was good especially single origin. New Orleans style. Slightly bitter due to chicory

I ordered a latte with almond milk and since I paid $8 (including tips) I expected at least an average almond milk latte. What I got tasted like an old drip coffee poured into diluted almond milk. The female barista was not smiling and gave bad attitude even when I was ordering (changed her face to angry when she saw me, was rolling her eyes and talking coldly). Keep in mind that I was friendly the whole time and ordered a simple drink. I felt very unwelcome at that place, even though it was my first time there. Maybe I was just unlucky with the service that day but I definitely won’t be back, at least to this particular store.

Service prioritizes online orders over counter customers. They will spend 10 or 15 minutes making to-go orders over people standing in the cafe. I could see mixing it up but this is maddening! Worse, the drinks are made just mediocre, definitely not the same quality as experienced at their other locations. Food is basically pastries but obviously pre-made processed-looking fare. It’s a relatively big shop but there’s no capacity to make hot food items of any substance nor to even heat pastries. Parking is profoundly difficult most of the day. This is a least liked BB.

This location is completely unreliable. Its hours change daily and without any notice. Dozens of times now I have driven there only to find 1) it has not yet opened or 2) it has closed hours early or 3) it just never opened for the day. I understand there are staffing shortages, but when a store (or it’s manager) can’t provide customers with reliable hours (they never match what’s posted in Google or Yelp) then they don’t really care about keeping customers’ business. Copa Vida right around the corner has great coffee and reliable staff and hours - I recommend going there.

Their attitude is so bad!!! I bought coffee beans online and bring to the store to grinding it. They ask me to show receipt, I showed it to the store manager. And they rejected to grind it?! How bad is the service? Can’t believe they refused helping their own customer! Never coming back again.

I had my charger with me and there are no plugs. I asked them if they could plug it in the back, they said no....

I love blue bottle but this is probably the worst late I had in any blue bottle locations. I will come back again and give it another try. Although, this was on a Thursday and the place wasn't busy at all. It seems like it depends on the barista making your coffee.

Genuinely the worst matcha I’ve ever had. The flavor of matcha was so faint that it just tasted like straight milk that someone whispered matcha near. Overpriced and tasted awful
