I love the read door. Great food and nice people. I have coffee here every morning. Cold brew and sandwiches are fantastic.

Red tofu sandwich is amazing. Fresh and crisp cilantro and jalapeño, perfectly marinated mushrooms and toasty bread. 😍

The food is delicious! The staff is super sweet as well. I think they should lower the music volume and perhaps play more calming music. Aside from that i had an amazing experience with a staff member who’s name was Martha! She was so helpful. Will be coming back. Cheers!

This place saved my life when all I had was McD money but I desperately needed salad, caffeine, and laundry detergent 😂. When Los Angeles is too expensive to even breathe in, go here!

This is a coffee shop for students, and you can take whatever you bought either to sit inside or outside. There's no table service but whatever you order is prepared quickly and efficiently.

Pretty decent! Massive improvement in price and quality over my previous campus. Wish they would bring back the Reuben sandwich though, none of the food they sell now compares

Very convenient, has emergency necessities and food so you don't have to leave campus for the basics. Their lattes are adequate. The service is always quite fast.

Food is pretty good, the matcha lemonade is the best drink of the summer! And the service is always friendly & excellent!

I think the amount of plastic they use in this cafe' is shameful. The yogurt was in a plastic bowl, the spoon to eat it was in a plastic package with plastic cutlery (including plastic fork and knife, which I did not need) and a colleague who ordered a hot breakfast got it in a plastic pot. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, NOT FOR A CALTECH CAFE'! So if you care about what is happening to our Planet, avoid it.

I graduated from this campus 19 years ago, and back then, the staff in Red Door Cafe were all nice and super friendly. Today I went back to campus for a conference tomorrow, and 16-hour jet lagged. I had no energy to go out for dining so I just wanted to buy sth simple and quick on campus. I ordered a salmon avocado toast. When I received it, I found out the salmon was not fully cooked. I asked about it and was told by a staff member that it was smoked. I thought maybe this was intended for breakfast so it was smoked (but not thin slices, quite large thick slices). I did not ask further and was ready to go. While I was picking up utensils and napkins, I overheard the staff members there talking and laughing at my question in a rather rude way. It's a pity to see service staff members in such a manner on this esteemed campus.
