Rustic Table

This lovely place is a must-try in Pawley’s Island! I went with my friends the other day: the warm atmosphere, good service, and delicious food were just what we were looking for! I started with the She Crab soup (one of the best I’ve ever had), and had Ms. Anne’s pecan salad with fried flounder as my meal. It was refreshing and delicious! I look forward to coming here again!

Rustic Table is a favorite among locals and tourists alike. They offer friendly service and serve southern comfort food in a casual environment with indoor and outdoor seating. The food tastes delicious!

Located right off the highway and nestled among some fun little shops is Rustic Table. Even though they were hosting an event, we were seated promptly. Our server was on her game and quickly took our drink order as we looked over the menu. The options are plentiful from appetizers to entrees to cocktails. We ordered a glass of Chardonnay and a blood orange mimosa along with the smash burger for me (+bacon) and the grayman burger for my husband. Everything was delicious! Terrific service all the way around. We’ll be back.

This spot was a delightful surprise recommendation from some folks over at Caledonia Fish and Golf Club! Dustin was a wonderful server: attentive and knowledgeable as well as genuine! He accommodated my allergy as well as my additional requests. The steak salad was delightful, as well as our entrees (Stuffed Flounder and Smash Burger, pictured)! We definitely hope to return here, and don’t forget to ask about the bread!

EDIT: We have now come back a year later and I believe the food was even better than before! Everyone in my family RAVED about how good it was tonight!!! Might have to go back for a back to back dinner it was so good!!! All our families food was amazing! Our server was awesome and she was running around efficiently making sure all her tables were taken care of! The Shrimp and grits were on point! Brisket nachos awesome! And kids pb honey and banana sandwich was HUGE! Food was worth every penny! Definitely would recommend and Definitely would come back!

We passed thru Pawley's Island and decided to stop by Rustic Table for their brunch/lunch food and it didn't disappoint us! The place is so cozy and all the staffs were welcoming and friendly. The food were amazing. My husband had country fried steak with scrambled eggs, gravy and potatoes. They were so good. I had Adams omelet and it cooked to perfection with generous amount of shrimp in it. My kids enjoyed their kids meal that came with fries and fresh fruits. Also, there is a store before the restaurant so you can window shopping or go shop (I did) at that cute little store. You have to go and check out this gem! So so good!

We had lunch here yesterday for the first time. We were shocked at how packed it was at 1 PM on a Friday afternoon. Our server, who was very attentive and personable, recommended both the shrimp and grits and the smash burger so we gave them a try. Both meals were great. The burger was huge and cooked well- not overdone. My biggest complaint would be the fries were cooked with the fried shrimp and flounder (beware if you have an allergy) so they had that slightly fishy taste to them. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the shrimp and grits and said they were some of the best grits he has had down here but would have wanted an additional side or soup if dinner for a more filling meal. We will definitely be back!

Our waitress Dory was absolutely amazing! She was very polite and had great suggestions as it was our first time. Every thing we ordered was amazing! The preparation, taste, portion sizes were all great. I got a chicken salad sandwich, son smash burger, wife blackened Mahi salad, daughter shrimp salad. Highly recommend this place. Wish we had had room for desert but we don’t leave until tomorrow.

Lisa was WONDERFUL! Such a kind and knowledgeable server, on top of being so welcoming to us from out of state. Hands down one of our top 5 restaurant experiences & we’re trying to figure out squeezing in one more meal before we hit the road. The sweet tea collard greens are insane. “The Comfy” was a dream. The pawleys island sandwich was fantastic. But the top two items I would recommend would be the calamari (best we have ever had, definitely not frozen) and the peach cobbler. 10/10 would recommend & ask for Lisa, she’ll get you all set!

Great food. Good size portions. Waitress Grace went above and beyond. The atmosphere was fun and casual. Would definitely eat here again. Update May 2023: There food here was better than any meal I've had in quite sometime. Again, generous portion sizes and great table service. This is quickly become our favorite place to eat in all of Palwey's Island.

One of my favorite restaurants in Pawleys Island. From shrimp & grits, gigantic smash burger, to wonderful salads— Rustic Table never disappoints!. Their “Proud Mary” just won “Best Bloody Mary” in the popular Murrells’s Inlet Marsh Walk contest. Rustic Table offers Saturday & Sunday Brunch. I love the outside seating - even if it is raining, their covered tent enclosure is a cozy atmosphere for dining. Rustic Table describes itself as a Comfort Food Restaurant. I would describe it as an Upscale Comfort Food Restaurant where casual attire and dressy beach attire are always welcomed.

We were so hungry and looking for some Southern food fixing. OH boy did I ever get my fixing. LOVED the hush puppies and that shrimp po boy was 🔥🔥 Also our server was so sweet!

The place did not disappoint. It was an unexpected and quite successful combination of southern hospitality and modern cooking. The staff was very kind and prepared the table ahead of time specifically for us. The food was amazing. From the delightful fried beets to the brisket, every bite was unforgettable and wholesome. Highly recommended.

Been coming to Pawleys island for 4 years now and just found this spot and is officially a must visit each trip. Great place with amazing food and atmosphere. Everything was delicious and really loved the shrimp and grits and Mahi-mahi entrees.

Best grits and shrimps ever. The pictures don't do justice to how good and big this plate is. Great ambiance Great service. Amazing food. If you are near you should definitely come and visit. You won't regret it. My server was Kristen.She was great too.

I had the fried beets, very delicious, and then I ordered the "Smash Burger", it was cooked exactly right. Also has some clam chowder and it was good but not phenomenal. The fries were more of a "homemade" style and really good. The slaw that came with it was a bit too sweet and runny. The ambiance is nice and the service is great, parking is easy. It may seem pricey to you for being in a small town near the beach but the prices were on par to the area where I work in Atlanta, GA. I recommend it for lunch.

Great meal with the family. Food portions are large. Plenty of leftovers. We had the meatloaf, braised short ribs, shrimp Creole, and smash burger. Laura was our server and was fantastic. Reservations are recommended.

What a truly fantastic place! I just had the absolute BEST pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. Everything that was coming out of the kitchen looked wonderful and fresh. Our server was great, as well. I highly recommend a stop if you're in the area.

We visited towards the end of service and the staff was still on top of their game with every table. The food came out quickly and it was great. This place has great reviews for a reason

Out we friends, they took me here. Was able to walk in and be seated. No waiting. The service was great. Knowledgeable of the dishes, friendly, and quick. Enjoyed it! The food was great! No complaints.

Celebrated my birthday here a few years ago and have remembered it happily! Such a delicious brunch! It was a warm day and we sat outside but under cover. The food was just so good!

Sunday Brunch. With no available reservations for Father’s Day we opted to wait. So worth the wait. Y’all do yourself a favor and head here for some tasty, scrumptious food! The four of us will be back for sure. Bloody Mary score!! Aka Proud Mary!!

There are very few places like this anywhere. We travel from Ontario once a year to play a few rounds of golf and have shrimp and grits at Rustic Kitchen. They are the absolute best bar none. We stayed in Myrtle beach for five days and went there three times. The chicken and waffles is also exquisite. A lot of other places dry out their chicken but not here. The chicken is crunchy outside and tender and juicy inside. The sweet tea collard greens are like nothing you've ever tasted before. We have tried a lot of places and this is one of our absolute favorite restaurants anywhere (and I mean anywhere)

What a great place !!! This was nice and service was super. The food was over the top. From the egg rolls to the fried chicken and smash burger. Yummy. So so good

First time seeing the place so I stopped in for supper. Service (Tiffany) was excellent as was the food quality and portion sizes. I had the gumbo and soup of the day. Finished with the blueberry cobbler which was excellent. Noisy near the front so I sat in the back room. Worth the stop and will try to again next time visiting the Myrtle Beach area.

We met friends for brunch. The eggs Benedict we're outstanding. The hash & eggs was very good. This restaurant was very busy, but the service & kitchen were great. We will definitely visit again the next time we're in Myrtle Beach.

The Rustic Table is one of my favorite restaurants on the grand strand. I have been there many times and have tried a variety of things on their menu and have never been disappointed. Special nods to their crispy chicken salad and country fried steak.

We decided to stop here for brunch this afternoon, and were blown away by the food! Everything was out of this world great! The portions were very generous and the menu was perfect for those picky eaters. We’ll be back next trip to Pawley’s Island.

The restaurant has a warm vibe, feels cozy and nice inside. The service was excellent. We had a side of fried okra for an appetizer that was the best I've ever had. I had the hamburger steak that was served in an au jus with mashed potatoes and collard greens. The hamburger steak was cooked to order and delicious. The collard greens were very good, and the mashed potatoes were solid. My wife ordered the steak and eggs that was a country fried steak with a white gravy. She enjoyed it. Others ordered shrimp and grits, which had corn and sausage and a brown reux that looked excellent, and chicken and waffles that ended up being a bit spicy for our friend. All in all, one of the best restaraunts we've been to in the area and wouldn't hesitate to return if we're in the area.

Excellent food and good portions. Very good place to eat. 4 of us all had different dinners and we were all very impressed with their food. It's a must visit when in Pawleys Island ... It's even worth the drive from North Myrtle Beach

The Rustic Table is one of the most memorable restaurants I have been to - and I am a New Orleans native living in Charleston SC for over 10 years. The simplicity and excellence of their menu, incredible quality, impressive wine at the price point is phenomenal. I haven’t had gator as good outside of Louisiana (and I’m not a huge gator-lover either) Fish, appetizers, and amazing Irish coffee to top it all off. We will be back every time we visit Pawleys Island!

We had very little time to grab lunch and these guys made it happen. We were seated, had our food, boxes, check and out the door in 30 minutes!!! Our service was amazing, the food was great and we will definitely visit again and take our time to enjoy. The patio was nice and cozy on an absolutely freezing cold day at the beach.

Hands down our favorite restaurant in the area. Everything we have tried on the menu we loved! Great service and great food. Best shrimp and grits!

Had an amazing dinner. I had the Shrimp and Grits and it may be the best meal I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant. I can describe how good it was. Everything else, such as the alligator bites and hush puppies, was also very delicious. Highly recommend eating here if you’re in town. Even if you’re not in town, make the drive!

We stopped in on a Wednesday night for dinner. We had reservations for 7 o'clock and were seated immediately. The service was spot on and the food came out quickly. We ordered the chef's special of the she crab soup prime rib. The soup was amazing. However, the steak was very bland. The mashed potatoes were also bland. A little disappointed as I think the bar had been set high, however, not willing to rule it out and definitely, we'll try again.

It's always a good experience here. Today, we had a grouper sandwich and a grouper special entree. For dessert, we ordered the Pawleys Island pie for PI day! Overall, it was a great experience and the food was good. My greens were delicious. 😋 The pie was on point 🍰too.

A bit disappointed by our party’s service. I had to ask for lemons twice (finally got them after like 20 mins), two people were told a special came with asparagus then it came out with collared greens (it got fixed after we informed staff), and one of the steaks that was ordered medium came out well done (didn’t feel like sending it back due to that being the second error on that dish). Thankfully, our waiter kept our water full and brought a second loaf of bread for the table. Almost all of our party really enjoyed their meal, so the food was great! I really enjoyed the salad I got.

my whole family went to Rustic Table last night. the food was FIRE, service was excellent and the drinks were defo poured up. if i had to recommend a dish it would be the short rib. it shredded so easily and paired well with the potatoes that they include on the side. in my opinion, the restaurant was a little overpriced for what it was and the portions of the drinks were small.

My family and I visited for dinner. I had heard the food was really good but unfortunately my food was not good. I ordered the Caesar salad and added shrimp as the protein. The shrimp were overcooked, rubbery and dry. The homemade croutons were hard as a rock and I did not attempt to eat them. The bacon on the salad was also too crunchy. I ate 5 of the shrimp well because I was hungry. I gave my husband a shrimp to try and he agreed that the shrimp were overdone. I also ordered a side of collard greens. The greens were overly sweet. Sadly, I left the restaurant as hungry as I had arrived. I stacked up my full dishes and just decided I wouldn’t complain to the server and enjoy the evening. My husband ordered the grouper special which he enjoyed. Our youngest son did enjoy the seafood platter. The bread that was served was extremely hard or so my family told me. The service was good. Unfortunately the food did not win me over.

Made reservations for 730pm was a little busy was seated outside on heated patio however its a little uncomfortable when I get another sat right next to me (literally right on top of me) I could of stretched and more than touch the person next to me our waitress must of known the couple as she was so nice to them and they got seated after us and got their food before us and left before us waited 15 mins for food I ordered the Steak Tip Pasta my bf got the SmashBurger with fries I took a picture of my food the steak tips I wanted medium every tip piece I ate had fat in it the noodles were cold and tasted bland the meat had no seasoning at all this place apparently knows NOTHING about seasoning. My pasta was not worth $30 bucks I paid my bfs smashburger was cold fries tasted of old grease and cold Sonics would of had better food at half the price NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN NOT WORTH 61.78 with tip.
