Can I give a 5+?? My wife and I come here at least 4 times a week, and love the atmosphere and the food: staff, attention to detail, the quality of the food , even the flexibility in tending to particular needs: for example, making a sandwich with the food combination that I'd like to have, though not on the menu. We get the feeling that we matter as people, a place where the customer truly comes first. Outside, the tables with umbrellas complete the small-town atmosphere cultivated by this unique, friendly and inviting place. What more can a customer want? The assurance that this place will ALWAYS be here!!

For the past few weeks I've been going to J Cafe. The breakfast is good and so is the lunch! The atmosphere is really nice too. The staff treats you like family. Especially if they see you often. When you go, make sure you try the coffee. It keeps me coming back. (It's better than Starbucks.)

Great place for anytime of the day. I have been having lunch here for the last couple of weeks. Everything is always delicious. I have also been given meals to try. Home run every time. The girls are always Happy to see you and the owners are always there to ask you how your meal was. Five stars easy... I'm happy that I found this place...

I was little hesitant at first to eat here since my family has celiac however we had a long drive a head of us and we gave it a chance. It did take some time for our food to get to us but once we got our sandwiches they were amazing. If we lived closer we would eat here all the time.

Cold brew coffee really hits the spot, and so does the Breakfast of Champions. Having the option for delivery is fantastic. Staff is always friendly. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and parking options nearby are plentiful.

If I could rate 11 stars I would. Please do yourself a favor and try the amazing scones. They are perfectly moist and flavorful and loaded with berries. You can absolutely taste that they are made with ❤️

Love it! Just moved into town, already my favorite cafe! Basically use it as my livingroom! Great food! Esp love the mom/dad of Pelham breakfast burrito and the Italian crispy chicken sandwich! The staff is super friendly and generous! Highly recommended!

It doesn’t matter if I’ve seen Gazi, Maria and Mustafah just yesterday or a week ago, they greet me with a warmth and friendliness that is welcomed and I bask in! They seem to know everyone by name and in spite of how busy and bustling their days are, they go about serving their guests with a smile. I love the freshly baked goods here, and the coffees/lattes. The sandwiches are very food also!! And I also love how they are always trying new things and seeking to grow and improve their menu. Whether I’m grabbing and going or taking time to eat in, or sipping or nibbling on something while I work on my laptop or have a quick meeting, J Cafe offers the perfect service and experience. I’m so glad they are in my neighborhood! ❤️❤️

Under the new management, j cafe is the best that I have seen in the 10 years that I have been going there. The food is presented in an inviting and artistic manner. The staff is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere feels like a NYC village cafe tThere is attention to detail in all areas of operation. I would highly recommend!

I organized a business meeting for 2 days and JCafe handled the catering. Everything was delicious and they accommodate all our needs. The event was a success thanks to the great service from JCafe.

Have to give J Cafe a five star today, the service has always been good, on most days I only have time to grab a cappuccino and run. Today I went in the shop and the lady had my cappuccino at the counter ready for me. She said she saw me drive up and started preparing it. That made my morning.

Practical, and great wifi access/service! Plenty of table space with chairs, not big poofy couches to lose your phone or car keys into the cracks of while you try not to cuddle the awkward 3rd person in the middle. And so many food options! Definitely recommend

Highly recommend this place! Not only is the atmosphere great and inviting but the food and service is a 10 out of 10! I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here and I have to say the scones and coffee are out of this world!

Don't let the old, generic, bubbly, diner text feel and visuals of their online menu deter you. Went for breakfast. parking is convenient. The place has a modern Starbucks kinda feel, with clean visuals, colors and music, but with a mom & pop shop edge. You order at the counter then sit anywhere and they bring your food to you. My boyfriend and I both ordered the J Cafe Breakfast. They were very good about giving us options. We both got scrambled eggs, which came out perfect. I got whole wheat toast and he got white toast, both cooked perfectly and the butter on them was really good. Both got home fries, which come cooked with peppers and onions, absolutely fantastic. The potatoes were soft, not crunchy, cut in thin slices, which I've never seen, but great nevertheless. He ordered bacon (3 slices of apple wood smoked bacon), which came out perfectly crispy and tasted great. I ordered turkey sausage. I've never had better tasting healthy sausage (2 2"patties). you would never know it's turkey. so good! the plate was filled to the brim and it was a very good size too, especially for the money. I didn't want a drink, but they offered a glass of water instantly, with no nasty looks or comments, even though I didn't ask. my boyfriend got a coffee, he said was good. The only advice I would have for this place is change the free standing tables or chairs. I personally just felt they made the place have a slightly less welcoming feel for what they're going for. I would also suggest maximizing the dessert window. they only had 3 cupcakes, some linzer tarts and some lemonade, but the case is huge. They looked lonely and made me wonder how long they had been there. Overall though 4.5:5 (I'm very picky though)! Def. will return.

You can't ask for a nicer, family-run business. One of my guilty pleasures is their peanut butter/chocolate chip scones... which the bake fresh! Wonderful food, wonderful people... 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

J Cafe is an institution and for good reason. You can see everyone in Pelham here. They have some tasty food, decent coffee, good service, and all while staying reasonably priced. I get any of the sandwiches and I'm a sucker for the house made potato chips.

Great place for breakfast or brunch. They serve breakfast until 11am M-F, and 1pm S/S. Really good food. Try the dad's breakfast burrito. Chocolate twist pastry was only ok. Excellent drinks like iced chai latte. Busy buzzing place. Homey feel. Fast service. Prices are good too. Definitely will be back. Parking was easy on a Sunday midday.

This cafe was a WHOLE VIBE. I had the opportunity to meet other agents and a business manager at this location, and I have to say the service was second to none. The food was really good. We had the opportunity to have several successful meetings at this location. I am adding this location as my go-to when I am in Westchester. If you are in this area I say go and check them out. I would recommend others to go here.

Awesome. Basic cafeteria style ordering, seating when busy is sketchy at best. Incredible portion sizes. Grits with cheddar and bacon was better than in New Orleans. All diners with my group of 5 were overly impressed with staff and food. Great eats!!!!

My favorite place to eat/get food. The kindest, best people work there, and they have a really varied menu where everything is absolutely delicious, from salads to pastries to eggs to rice/lentil/quinoa bowls. I really love this place and talk about it all the time when people ask for recs.

J Cafe is a neighborhood gem. We have been coming here for many years. My family loves many of the breakfast and lunch items. The salads and sandwiches are so fresh and delicious! I recently tried their scones. OMG! Amazing... I highly recommend the chocolate chip and peanut butter ones. Such a great place and Pelham is so lucky to have such wonderful business owners in our community.

I needed a quick lunch and I got the crispy chicken wrap. Why was this the best wrap I’ve had in my life, and I don’t care for them typically. It was fresh chicken cutlets and they were very generous with their portions. I’d come back here for sure. The coffee was a little lackluster but the food makes up for it.

Adorable cafe conveniently located a couple blocks from the train! Very friendly and attentive service, warm welcoming and clean atmosphere. The pastries looks amazing, but got the breakfast wrap (you'll have to order a side if you're hungry) and the 3 egg omelette with homefries and toast were more filling and served hot. Such a great local place and cute seating in the front. Enjoy!

I was looking for a place with iced coffee while running some errands. I grabbed a cold brew iced coffee with caramel and oat milk for myself and a black and sweetened iced coffee for my mom. The coffee was delicious! The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely come back and sit to have coffee with a friend. It’s a beautiful space. The staff was very kind and helpful as well. I wish I took photos of all the beautiful furniture and the delicious looking food!

I love this place so much. It is a cozy little cazy that is welcoming and a perfect place to do work. The food is great. The first time I've been here I had a steak salad that was captivating. The steak was tender and flavorful. The most recent time I got breakfast which consisted of french toast sticks and sausage. The french toast sticks were coated in oats which provides an astounding level of crunch. They weren't sweet but the syrup makes up for that. It was a maple syrup which has just the right amount of sweetness. The sauage was good but you only get one. I wish it was two. They have free wifi that is SECURED which I prefer. The service is lovely. They chit chat with you making you feel seen and appreciated. I highly recommend this place.

The scones are ridiculous! Crunchy on the top, pillowy on the inside and so fresh(baked on site!) And of course their coffee is the best! Truly a neighborhood gem. My favorite lunch spot. Great sandwiches and salads and such a sweet staff!

I’ve been coming to J Cafe for years, and they never fail! The food is always great and the space is cozy and comfortable in any season. I ordered a Triple Berry smoothie for the first time, and it was pretty good. A little overpriced for the size. Other than that, the customer service is great, the staff is very friendly. Would recommend for breakfast, and lunch! The coffee is great too.

Only had breakfast but great so far! Crunchy french toast is the best I've had and the breakfast steak excellent cooked perfect great flavor and juicy. Wish they had squeezed their juice such as OJ would be perfect. Outdoor seating option is lovely.

We loved that steak with egg and panini! Above all expectations! Interior is beautiful, with lot of space. Cosy soft corner right by window is amazing. The place is at convenient location, lot of parking around. They have seats outside also.

It is convenient and in the centre of Pelham Village near the train station. Food and coffee are reasonably priced, decor is comfortable and the people are friendly. Service was exceptional.

Atmosphere is the best part of this place. Food is overrated and over-priced but service is good and Atmosphere is great for getting together to chat for an hour with a friend etc.

New ownership. This local eatery has had an interesting variety of dishes, and the new management is maintaining the menu. On the plus side, seating had been rearranged to allow more privacy.

it’s a vibe, love this place! always have since i grew up here. only bad thing i can say is in the summer they become infested with bees/wasps and flies because they leave the doors open at all times. this is a problem for me, so beware if it is for you also. on a more positive note, they make great espresso drinks and i always come back for my morning cappuccino. they have great breakfast too! i feel like the prices are bit up there for me, but i’m a broke 20-something.

Nice place. Everything was good. The pancakes were not good. They cook them using olive oil. While probably more nutritious, definitely not a normal pancake eating experience. Some things just need to be done in a traditional manner: use BUTTER to cook pancakes!

A cozy cafe, with stool chairs by the window, and an outside seating area is available. Menu selections pastries, wraps, salads and of course coffee, plus much more. Friendly and quick service. The entrance to the cafe has a small ramp to enter, making it accessible for the handicap. Roomy enough to pull up to the table, with a wheelchair.

Pastries are just okay (minus one star for that), but freshly made savory items are awesome. We enjoyed brunch last time here, and this time, the grilled cheese at the next table smells really good.

Not totally impressed with this deli. My daughter got an omelet with vegetables and she said it was kind of lacking in the vegetables. I got a chicken salad sandwich which I thought would come with like tomato and lettuce. But no, it was just a scoop of chicken salad on a roll kind of bland

Small clean spot.salad was gd but it hardly had the greens , mostly veggies and very little chicken. the soup was bland and too watery, didn't like it at all.

Food is good, just be warned they are absurdly slow. On 3 separate occasions now I’ve ordered 20 minutes ahead and still have to wait another 5-10 minutes once I get there.

Ordered steak salad from here before and it was good. This time for 22 dollars I received 5 pieces of steak with lettuce. There was two small tomatoes and two tiny crumbles of cheese. For 22 dollars they should not be skimpy with the other ingredients. Very disappointing.

Worker was very nice but jeez... my order was so simple (steak sandwich with mayo) that's all. It'slike you have to TRY to get it wrong. 17.50 and 20 minutes wait... I get home and ready to enjoy my meal only to find steak, onions and mushrooms drowning in some steak sauce. Half of what they gave me was scraped off and thrown away. Very disappointed even with low expectations. I'm generously giving 3 stars to be nice.

We had a Waldorf salad and a grilled cheddar cheese and tomato sandwich.....which were fine. Crisps were served with the sandwich which were unfortunately stale. The service, decor and atmosphere were average. It is a convenient spot but does need to up its game.

It's a charming little place where you order at the counter. The breakfast burrito and matcha were a bit bland, but not overly greasy, so it feels like a healthier choice. My meal, which included a small matcha and a burrito with avocado, cost $25.13. While a bit pricey for what I got, it's probably standard for the area to cover costs. Just a heads-up: when you visit, remember to place your order at the counter. I waited at a table for a while before realizing this, possibly due to a misunderstanding with a lady behind the counter. In general, it's a popular spot among locals. The atmosphere is cozy, and the service is pretty fast. I would give it another chance and order a different item next time due to its popularity.

Great selection of salads but I've experienced repeated problems with ratio of ingredients. The Nola salad has way too many onions. I ordered the salad with no onions and they still added the onions......way too many onions.

The bacon egg and cheese was not good. The nice bun does not take away from the bacon that was used which in my opinion was not good. Bacon was too thin and threw off the taste. Not an authentic NY bacon egg and cheese

Coffee cups/lids are garbage quality, brand new car and all three of our cups spilled. Burnt ourselves. Won’t be returning until I hear they invested in some better cups/lids. Hilarious reply got you a second star. However the point of my review was to point out that you should spend a few cents more and buy better cups and lids.

They got all these soups on the menu, but if you try to order one they tell you that you have to order something else. Apparently they just can't make any soup at all? False advertising ain't cute and neither are incompetent "chefs". Don't advertise what you can't make if you call yourself a "Restaurant"

Messed up a simple order such as how I like my tea! Not sure how you mess up a bacon egg and cheese, at their prices! No way will they stay in business after that experience! This place is horrible! I just ordered food through Uber eats, tomato basil soup and a “classic” grilled cheese. HORRIBLE. The soup is chunky and not what you expect when you order tomato soup! And the grilled cheese is a joke! Expensive for what? The cheese wasn’t even melted! It taste like Kraft singles with bread and Kraft singles is NOT CHEESE!!!!!!!!
