Villaggio Pelham Reviews
Real Italian restaurant in suburban Pelham in New York. Genuine and well presented Italian food. Nothing like it in Australia. Great menu and service.
Great food and service! Comfortable dining room. Always treated like family. Shrimp marinara is one of my favorite dishes.
Perfect date there, the service is 3A. For me the must delicious Italian food.
Great Italian restaurant. Always good food and kind service. We like to go to this place regularly.
Family oriented excellent food and service. Very reasonably priced for the quantity of food. Same great food, same great service. Keep up the good work.
The food, hostess, and waiters we're excellent. The staff was very helpful and made good suggestions. Definitely will come again.
Took my family here after my fathers funeral, ( his favorite)the staff was outstanding, the food was so Delicious, They really out did themselves at this one of thinking very very much
Best pizza ever love the hot honey slice love the grandmas slice and I love the vibe my new go to place bless the hands who make this crust 😻
Well, it’s simple, if would like a wonderful restaurant with excellent service and of course terrific food, go to Villaggio. Ask for Jerry or Andy to make it even more memorable.
Always delicious pizzas. Lots of choices for slices as well as full pies. Great traditional New York style pizza!
Excellent food, service, wine selection. A great mangiata for reasonable price. Always quality food and consistent. Best place to eat in Pelham and among top places to eat in lower Westchester.
Love it. Classic. Great food, good service, great neighborhood.
Very nice! Service was excellent, traditional Italian food...I love seafood salad, and they made it excellent
Lovely restaurant in a lovely section of town. Food is well prepared and courtiously served. A good place to while away an afternoon or evening. Outdoor seating, of course.
Great place for afternoon lunch and dinner. Service and food was excellent spacious outdoor and indoor areas. I would definitely recommend you visit.
Attended baby shower at Villagio in Mamaroneck. Staff very nice, accommodating, from salad to dessert, delicious.
Great food, great staff! We love this place. Best Italian food around. Highly recommended!
My neighbor has lived in the Bronx for 40+ years and says they have the best pizza in NY. I would definitely have to agree!
I've been going here for 27 years. Food is fabulous, prices are good and service is awesome!!! Never a bad experience!!!
The staff here at Villagio are very welcoming and the best service you can ask for with the best food anywhere else I’ve been and very consistent with the food and service!!
A great family oriented restaurant with delicious food and great prices! There is a wide selection of different slices to choose from and the service is really good. I will definitely be back again.
We love Villagio's. We are always greeted warmly whenever we show up and the food is always excellent no matter what you order. You get a salad and bread with your entree. The wine is good. It's a very cozy and comfortable place. You can't go wrong eating here.
Definitely NY style pizza with NY style atmosphere. Everybody speaking Italian. People in and out.. non stop. Best of the best. Pizza for me was a 7.6... 1 bite everybody knows the rules.. thanks guyz!
Love this place, I live in Queens and come here to meet my friends . The food is excellent and the service is unbelievable. They treat us like family and never rush us. We are now regulars. I have recommended this restaurant to my friends in Queens. Worth the trip!!!
Jerry the server was incredible! Introduced me to a new wine "Blood Orange Rose", he was so attentive. Plus when I walked in everyone was very polite and warm. I will definitely be here again!
It has been our second time since covid we were welcome like they were waiting for us, we told them we were celebrating our 40th anniversary they made our special celebration one we will not forget, food was impeccable the mushroom risotto was made to perfection, excellent lobster ravioli, the service was amazing,at the end of our meal the owner came with a complimentary tiramisu and lemonchello and even took the staff and took a picture with us . Prices are very moderate inexpensive wines a hidden gem to enjoy a great meal, or celebration.
My wife and I met with two friends for lunch. Parking in the area is metered so I put enough quarters in the meter for 2 hours. This was my first time at the restaurant and found the place to be very inviting with a warm welcome as we were directed to a table for 4 near the windows. The masked waitor was very cordial and quickly took our orders for wine. I sipped a pinot noir which was very enjoyable. For lunch I had a margarita pizza, my wife ordered fried calamari as an appetizer and chicken francese as her main course. The pizza was very hot, crispy and tasty - I was able to fit just half and took the rest home. The calamari was also crispy, flavorful and bountiful. My wife found her 'petti di pollo' francese served with green beans and white rice wonderfully flavorful. The bathroom is very clean. Our parting espressos were exactly what we expected in taste and hardiness. We will definitely be back.
This is a wonderful little Italian restaurant on the main street. This place is great because they have two sections in the restaurant; The first is a true pizzeria where you can just hop in grab a slicer or two and be on your way while the second is a full sit-down restaurant with an extensive menu. The pizza is consistently good, The calzones are good, and chicken francese. They also have all the classic dishes that you would expect and if I remember correctly a decent wine selection.
A classic neighborhood pizzeria on one side and a white tablecloth, elegant dining experience on the other: Either way, you’ll leave totally satisfied and with new friends. The food is consistently great and the wait staff will make sure that when you leave, you will feel the same way. Career waiters who know the entire menu as well as they know the wine list. Gerry, Hugo, Andy, Rubin, and Germano will make sure you’ll leave with a full belly and a desire to return. Beautiful bartender Patricia works tirelessly to get drinks to the tables fast! We love this place whether it’s a date night or a family party. Owners Frank and Joe will make sure you’re smiling when you leave. Don’t go through Pelham without stopping at Villagio!
Great Pizza, crisp crust, friendly staff. the restaurant menu is fantastic as well. the go to for pelham dining!
Good place! It was packed for Mother’s Day but the place was totally on point . Definitely try any eggplant or parmigiana dish . So good!!
Very nice restaurant with good food. The waiters are very attentive. It can be a bit noisy, but tolerable. There is a back room that can be used for a group, especially with kids.
I grew up in Pelham and there is no better pizza in the world to me. The chicken parmesan slice is my comfort food. They have lasagna slices, chicken Caesar salad slices, everything! The restaurant side is very good too They always know your name. Great guy
Love Hugo the bartender! Super professional and very attentive. Makes the best drinks on that little strip!
Great food. Pepper and potato app was fantastic huge portion good for three or four people. Eggplant app also good. Once again large portion. Entree for one or app for two or three people.
The Staff is outstanding. Make you feel like family!! The food is excellent!! Never had a dish I didn't love.
Enjoy Villagio's on many Sundays. Nice and friendly atmosphere. Booths are quiet and private. Food is delicious. Pizza next door is really good also.
Favorite restaurant of all time! Had our Gender Reveal here and everything couldn't have been more perfect. Wonderful staff and great food!
We were looking for some sausage and peppers and good red wine...Well we found Villagio the sausage and peppers were delicious...I had a cabernet sauvigon... Mt Guest had a merlot...I'd usually have acid reflux after eating pasta...I don't know what it is but I have none at all...one of the servers Hugo was very welcoming and attentive...he conversed with all the patrons.. the prices are reasonable...I will be back next week to do a food review on one of their items from their pre fixed dinners which everything on there is $24.99 with a choice of a soup or salad. This place is a must try!!
Review is based on dinner in the restaurant section as there is a pizzeria section as well. Tastefully decorated, delicious food (we had a couple of appetizers, main dishes and desserts) and the cherry on the cake was our waiter. I have never witnessed such genuine concern for my food allergy. Highly recommend.
I enjoyed. The pizza that I Selected They have others on the menu that I'm going Choose when I return to the area. I will stop by try One of the entrees , and i'm certain to try another Pizza.
I visited this restaurant on a Tuesday night. The place was decently empty, which was great for us. The service and food were exceptional. My only complaint was that another group came in a while after me and, while the dining room was practically empty, they were sat next to us. Everything else was great! Would definitely recommend.
Always seeking an eating spot on Sundays, I stumbled on this close to home gem. Hugo and the staff are so welcoming and accommodating. I'm definitely recommending the chicken chowder.
Exceptional. I ordered entrees for take out. The food was delicious, well seasoned and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. Villagios understands the balance between flavor and ingredients and how to prepare a meal. Their tomato sauce is fresh and tasty. The garlic and oil pasta was fantastic, not “oily” with excellent balance of flavor from the garlic without it being overpowering. Very nicely done. The price appropriate for good food. I highly recommend you give them a try.
The food is always delicious and the workers are so kind. I had to cancel an order and they gave me a drink free of charge! Definitely recommend supporting this small business!
The buffalo chicken roll was really good
anybody can make mistakes but the highly customer service this people have it’s unbelievable. I really wanted to try a different pasta and it was a misunderstood. and they made it all over again for me. Thank you so much. It’s really good. 😊 very happy definitely ill be ordering and coming back here
This restaurant has been in Pelham for decades. I have always enjoyed it. They had a meal of shrimp scampi on risotto. I do not like risotto and asked if I could have it on angel hair pasta. No problem. It was delicious.
We ordered 15 large pizza pies for a school event and the pizzas were ready on time and delicious, The manager was even kind enough to give us a small discount! Happy students and happy to order again!
This restaurant has a cozy and accessible atmosphere. The food is tasty and well prepared. The staff is friendly and provided good services both of the times my family and I visited. Would totally visit again! 😁
The service was so impressive! Every time my 3 year old looked around for more cherries they were right there, and they impressed my 9 year old with a magic trick! The food and drinks were amazing. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. We will definitely return to this gem!
I bought two slices of pizza. One spinach and one salad. Although they were both good, at the cost of $14.75, I will only go when I want to treat myself. They gentlemen who took my order was nice and polite. They offer a variety of pizza choices, the store is clean, and they have seating inside.
Great Food! Superb Customer Service!
Great place really Italians the owners are the best friendly 👌
Favorite Italian in Westchester. Good portions, consistent quality & friendly people. Take out pizza or dine in for an elevated special occasion… you’re covered here!
This a great place to go, for pizza, and a delicious meal. The service and atmosphere is the best. The staff is wonderful.
Elegant sedate atmosphere with equally elegant service. Excellent preparation and presentation of classical Italian dishes.
Been going for years, always my favorite place to eat when we go visit NY. Everything on there menu is amazing the staff is amazing and they're so accommodating and nice!
Villaggio is a gem. It is very comfortable and I'd even say elegant, while not being pretentious. The staff is very welcoming and the service is terrific. It's not a noisy restaurant, like some tend to be, though it wasn't croeded when we last visited. The food is good, if not outstanding, it has been very consistent over the years: We hadn't visited in a long time and were pleased to note that it was as pleasant overall as it had been in the past.
On Super Bowl Sunday we had a party for my Mom’s 100th birthday. Everything was perfect! The service was outstanding, very attentive and professional. The food was delicious and plentiful. Hugo was extremely helpful in planning the table set ups, menu, and flow of the day. He was even outside shoveling snow so our guests would have a clear path into the restaurant. I would highly recommend Villagio’s for lunch, dinner, or a party. All of our guests, including some from out of town raved about the entire party from start to finish. Thank you very much for making my Mom’s special day the best! Mary Lando
While the food alone brings us here, the service is also fantastic. Servers are attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is calm and inviting. Love it here. They are also good with large groups. Pesto chicken orecchiette is amazing. Cappuccino martini is strong and delicious.
We just had our granddaughters communion lunch here for -70 people. Not only was food excellent, as always, it was the service that was outstanding. From the preparation of the menu, to supporting with organizing the room layout and to receiving all our vendors, Andy and Eugene were hands on in making the event flow seamlessly. Throughout the event Andy was hyper attentive to making sure that things were going well and Eugene made sure that we had anything we needed (even if unplanned on not on the agreed upon menu). We come here often for dinner because we love the food and having this event here was icing on the cake in solidifying Villagio as a family favorite. Special shout out to their recommendation on the bakery for the cookie trays and cakes - people went gaga for the traditional Napoleon cake. All that is to say that this place is a family run business who knows how to treat their guests like family. Thank you!!
Great pizza, nice service! They did forget one of my friends pizza's though. But, once we told them we got his slice.
The restaurant is beautiful and food is very good the staff are great but it is not handicap acessiable. You have walk thru the bar to get to the tables and there is no room for wheelchair or walkers.
Have had several lunches here. Every meal was simple and tasty. Very reasonable prices and excellent service.
The staff is fantastic and the food is consistently delicious. I ordered the homemade paccheri with a fresh tomato sauce. It hit the spot. The place has a warm, romantic glow and the noise level is just enough to be lively without making it difficult to speak with your dining partners. The wait staff has been there for many years, they are attentive, friendly and have a welcome ease about them. I recommend trying the stuffed artichoke appetizer-(you'll want to share, it is large!) The leaves are lemony & tender with the right amount of garlic. The veal caprese is excellent. Pounded thin, breaded & fried, it is served with tomatoes & arugula with an oil & vinegar dressing. I don't always have room for dessert, so I usually get a cappuccino to top off the meal. The espresso has a rounded, feel: neither too acidic, nor weak. I encourage anyone interested to go, you will feel relaxed & never rushed.
Food was great. Service was a little slow but very accommodating. 4 stars instead of 5 because we had to constantly ask for everything and waited a while before we got it and it wasn't even busy.
This is one of our go to Italian restaurants. It's very cozy and the staff are very friendly & professional. The food is always great no matter what we get. The only issue is they need a better dessert menu. Tonight hubby had shrimp scampi with capellini, I had calamari in Fra diavolo sauce with capellini. It comes with their house salad which I always love & we had the fried mozzarella which was delicious. We tried red wine because we always get white & it was pretty good; sauvignon. They were decorated for Valentine's day with hearts hanging from the ceiling, it was romantic and very cozy. We love this place.
Good food. Menu includes seafood, meats and pasta. Interesting specials daily. Very busy Friday and Saturday night. Adjacent pizzarria by same owners. Street parking.
Pretty standard Italian fare in a nice setting. Service was on point--our waiter was attentive but not intrusive. We had a very nice meal here and the price was reasonable. Food was tasty and came in a reasonable amount of time. I will absolutely be going back!
My family and I had a delicious birthday dinner recently. I've been here once before but enjoyed my clams and cold seafood salad. I had a terrific cannelloni pasta that was simply delicious. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and the staff is excellent. It is a quaint little place in the village of Pelham. There is no parking whatsoever. You need to use the meters. The bathrooms are very clean. They have a pizza parlor connected to it and a nice little bar area. It is worth a trip for lunch or dinner. Try the dining area if you've got deep pockets because it's outrageously expensive and far overpriced. They do catering and have a party room too. This is an upscale restaurant good for all occasion's and the food is very good.
Have been going here for probably 20 plus years. The food never disappoints and the staff is super attentive
This place has improved a lot since the last time I was there. Great selection of food. Lots of personal attention. They're willing to customize the food, you can't ask for much more than that . Great community restaurant. I recommend it highly.
I have enjoyed the variety of meals, I eaten here. The kids said the pizza is good here. Rush hour time is challenging for parking.
Went for a couple of slices on the pizza side, 2 pepperoni with honey and two Grandmas with a couple of Stewarts Back Cherry Drinks. $30.50 !!! 6 dollars a slice and $3.25 each for a bottle of soda..Pizza was good, but not worth the crazy money. Good luck with the high school kids 2 blocks away. LOL These are new owners as of 10/22
French fries under cook also the mozzarella stick. Literally taste the raw potatoes. Had to re cook it at home. Waste of money. But good lesson. Cook my own meal at home
I’ve been going here for years and thought the food was pretty good and reasonable in price. Since the new ownership took over, don’t know what’s going on but the pizza prices have gone up dramatically. Although the food is still good with different varieties of pizzas , I feel the prices were a little too steep, I had two regular slices and a margarita slice and it came out to $14 a little too much. Definitely going to branch out to other places. The three stars is for the price not for the quality of the food.
Inflation has ruined what was once good pizza on a friday night. They used to use real sausage on the pizza. Now they dont, and you can tell. I paid $13 for 2 slices that had pepperoni & sausage on it. Rediculous
I was there with a party of 8, and pretty much everyone agreed that the taste of the food was only so-so. This was very disappointing. The chicken parm was not even up to pizzeria standards. One dish in particular, the sole oreganata, was inedible. (The breading was soggy and gummy.) I don't think any of us will be going back. The service was great, though!
Just paid $32 for “chicken Milanese” and a side of penne. No tomato, Parmesan, no onion, no dressing if any sort just 2 cutlets and arugula. I’m crashing out. Ridiculous. Otherwise great restaurant
Driving by was hungry I went inside first time. I Ordered meatball parm Menus says $9.50 I pay And realize he charged Me $13 I left in anger I Didn't wanna ruin appetite and argue so I Went home. Dry hardly Any sauce and cheese I ate half and added my Own sauce wich I was in process of making to Make lasagna. Guess I Make better sauce also I added parmesan cheese. Not worth $9.50 and no way $13.00
Unfortunately they changed their gluten free pizza. It is absolutely awful. Tastes like a ritz cracker. Buttery and like it came out of a box. I used to love the gluten free pizza here but I guess I will have to find a new place :/
This was the best pizza in Pelham for 30+ years. The new owners as of Oct 2022 have ruined it. They completely changed all the delicious pizza that Frank & Joe served for decades and now it is mediocre 3am Manhattan drunk pizza at best. And the prices! Completely out of hand expensive - it is sad and pathetic that these new owners would change so much so quickly about this neighborhood staple. Hopefully they don’t ruin the restaurant side too.
We will not be coming back anytime soon. Ordered a Stuffed Veal Chop. I was so undecided if I should order since it was $41.00 but decided to have. Well when the bill came they charged me $49.95 which I was shocked not sure if any of the other items were correctly priced but the chop caught my eye since I remembered that the price at $41.00 really made me think if I wanted it. I brought the price to the attention of our waiter and he took the bill went back out recharged and said that the IT person worked in the system earlier in the day and must have made a mistake. Of course the excuse left a bad taste in my mouth. They should have done better than just give me an excuse. Wish I would have asked for a menu and check the cost of my husband’s but it didn’t cross my mind to check at that time. The wait staff is excellent the food was okay. Definitely will not be returning and also advising my friends and family if our latest bad experience. This has not been the first bad experience but we decided to try again but never again!!!!!
Villaggio has always had good pizza. The crust was always nice and thick, and their was hot. I went their today and the pizza crust was paper thin, the sauce tasted different, even the cheese left an after taste. I would not recommend them. Sorry Villaggio, you have just lost a long time customer.
The audacity to charge what you guys are charging for slices these days and then to sell stale/cold pizza. This place has taken a turn for the worst. Save your money and go to Pelham Pizza where they still put pride into what they sell. I called to inform them that they sold me stale pizza and they LIED to me saying they just cooked it. I have been getting this slice for years and i know this is not fresh. Very disappointed and will never return.
The worst place ever!!! The food literally went in the trash. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I spent $114 on trash food. It was ice cold, stale, smelly, probably spoiled -all of it went right in the garbage - if I could post pictures I would. They should refund us
Two bites of this chicken Parm hero , I don't know what it is but isn't chicken it's the most chewy (like leather) you will ever have. Of course I didn't eat this garbage and I got some garlic knots I'll let you know how this taste in a few well the garlic knots were good. That just wasn't chicken man I didn't know what it is but I am not eating it. I'll wait till I get further in mount Vernon to get some food I have to pray to God and beg for forgiveness for throwing us away. I'm not even going to call this food because I don't believe it's edible and I don't even believe it's chicken. It may be bread maybe but then again if it's not chicken probably not bread. I don't know what this garbage is. I'll never go here again ever this a waste of $20 bucks.
