Caffè Duchessa Piazza Lorenzo Bernini Reviews
My mom and I owe so much to Ily and his family. This place, from the very first day we went there, February 1, 2024, has been like a secret refuge for us, a place where we could talk about ourselves, share our life experiences, and even be moved. Even though some things have changed, and we don't come here as often anymore (and not through any fault of yours), I know that in my heart I can always count on Ily and his beautiful family. Thank you for being close to me and my mom.
Excellent bar, friendly and very helpful staff, especially with my dog. Prices are reasonable, the cappuccino and coffee are good, the cup is just the right temperature but never boiling. The macchiato is always served in a glass cup. The Leccese coffee is also excellent during the summer. The place is always busy.

The young, friendly, and helpful staff are always happy to recommend the best drink. Ily is fantastic. The spritzes are expertly prepared, and they always offer something to eat with your drink. I highly recommend them, especially for group aperitifs/dinner drinks. A 10 out of 10.
Great for breakfast and occasional passerbies looking for recovering energy!
Great location, good non-commercial music, friendly staff.
Happy atmosphere and staff friendly
A small café located in Piazza Bernini at the metro exit. It's a small space with a spacious outdoor terrace.
Reasonable price, friendly staffs, good croissants
Busy little café, nice coffee, warm croissants and decent service.
Aperitif for 8 people cost €80. The €10 option included a drink and a platter, which was also charged to those who drank fruit juice/chinotto. The platter was really poor, just four slices of cured meats.
Guys, what a sad aperitif 😮 We asked for a platter and they brought us sliced sandwiches, taken directly from the display case. The Spritz wasn't bad ⬆️ but the platter ⬇️⬇️⬇️
I was there this morning for breakfast. I went to pay and, as often happens, they gave me change and said good morning, but without giving me the receipt. I asked for it, and without the guy pressing any buttons, he gave me one from the counter. I went out, sat down at the table, and checked the time on the receipt: it said 8:22, but I had arrived at 8:43. I went in and said, "Sorry, it's not my receipt, it has a different time." I was about to leave and the guy called me back twice in an unprofessional manner. The second time, I said, "Sorry, I'll come over as soon as I finish breakfast and explain." Nothing, the guy came out with a series of receipts (not taken from customers but left at the register) and showed them to me, repeating that the digital system had problems and that he couldn't fix it. I replied that I didn't believe it and that the receipt hadn't been issued. He continued by saying that he didn't like the way I was doing things. At this point, I say that by law, a receipt must be issued; you don't wait for the customer to ask for one. And if they do, you don't give them one that's already been issued. He gets angry, takes the receipts, and leaves. In short, I'm left without a receipt because he brought them back, and as far as I'm concerned, that confirms the dishonesty. To summarize: 1. Receipt not issued 2. The customer asks for one and is given a fake receipt 3. The customer realizes the prank and reports it 4. The guy gets angry 5. The customer is left without a receipt 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The price was too high and not the same as the price list posted in the restaurant. I would have given it a higher rating because what I ordered was good. It's a shame about the waiter who makes fun of the customers. I won't be back.
