Per me non esiste un luogo più prezioso. Ogni anno per il mio compleanno questa cena è il regalo desiderato. Ogni anno l'osteria dell'arco è migliore dell'anno prima. E non so come sia possibile, essendo sempre superlativa. Vi amo tantissimo. Siete splendidi e vi ringrazio per l'arte, l'amore, la dedizione che mettete in ogni piatto. Vi ringrazio per i sacrifici che il vostro lavoro comporta, siete il più bel dono che si possa ricevere. Semplicemente impareggiabili.

Luogo storico, la sua fama lo precede ed è decisamente una tappa che merita. Cibo straordinario, gentilezza del personale e atmosfera molto tranquilla e rilassante. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo (sopratutto se si mangia il tartufo bianco e si beve un buon calice di rosso): i piatti che vedete in foto + calice di barbera + caffè 71 euro. Necessaria la prenotazione. Molto consigliato!

Durante la Fiera del Tartufo ci siamo imbattuti casualmente in questo locale, eravamo in nove persone e, nonostante non avessimo prenotato, siamo stati accolti con grande disponibilità e cortesia. Un’ospitalità che si fa subito notare e che dà il tono all’intera esperienza. Il ristorante si trova leggermente nascosto rispetto alla piazza principale, in una posizione tranquilla che permette di gustare il pranzo o la cena con calma, lontano dal caos. L’ambiente è caldo e accogliente, con un’atmosfera familiare ma curata nei dettagli. Il personale è stato eccezionale: cordiale, simpatico e sempre attento alle esigenze del tavolo, senza mai essere invadente. È raro trovare oggi un servizio così genuino e professionale allo stesso tempo. Abbiamo avuto modo di assaggiare diverse specialità tipiche piemontesi, dagli antipasti ai dolci. Ogni piatto si è rivelato una piacevole scoperta, preparato con ingredienti di qualità e presentato con cura. Consigliamo vivamente “La Tradizione”, un antipasto misto che offre un assaggio completo delle eccellenze locali, e gli immancabili Tajarin 40 Tuorli, un vero e proprio simbolo della cucina del territorio. Ottima anche la selezione di vini, che spazia da etichette accessibili a bottiglie più ricercate, soddisfacendo ogni esigenza e budget. In definitiva, un'esperienza che ci ha colpiti per qualità, atmosfera e servizio. Un locale da tenere a mente e da consigliare senza esitazione.

Questa osteria è sempre una garanzia. Il posto è molto accogliente e nella bella stagione si può pranzare anche fuori. Il menù è fatto da piatti della tradizione piemontese, materie prime di ottima qualità trattate con rispetto. Ravioli del plin è tajarin una certezza, assolutamente da assaggiare, e poi gli antipasti, le carni e i dolci (se c'è il monte bianco da non perdere). Vasta scelta di vini e servizio puntuale e cortese. Un posto del cuore.

Locale in centro ad Alba. Ambiente accogliente, piatti di qualità elevata. Ottima la tagliata di fassona. Carta dei vini importante. Ottima esperienza.

Cibo e servizio ottimo, prezzo in linea con gli standard della zona. 40/50€ a persona per un pasto completo con bevande. Unica cosa forse ambiente un po' rumoroso (avevamo una tavolata accanto). Bravi! Aggiungo, Panna cotta eccezionale.

Our waiter is the same one we had in Bra at Boccondivino! White truffles with agnolotti del plin and tajarin, fassona (beef) marinata (cruda) with cheese & nocciole (extra yum!), chanterelles with black truffles, Marcenasco Barolo 2020, veal tongue, meltingly soft snails, Panna cotta and chocolate. Slow Food continues it's mission of simple authentic food done very well but not trying to be fancy.

They pulled together a three course meal that was delicious while having a full dining room. They were professional and kind. If you are looking for a restaurant in Alba, this is the one to go to. Had a great refreshing lunch here. My partner and I shared a couple antipasti dishes and then had the cheese platter. The antipasti’s were fresh and delicious, and the cheeses were incredible, especially when drizzled with the honey. Would recommend!

The tajarin with truffle was amazing! Super delicate, great quality butter, generous portion of shaved white truffles, the pasta super tasty, handmade. I ordered the beef with mushrooms on the recommendation of the waiter. It was good, but the meat was a tad chewy. I still ate it, but compared to the pasta, oh my Lord! I sat outside, the atmosphere was lovely, tucked away from the piazza, and the service was on point. Super kind staff.

Super classic Piemonte’s osteria. HUGE selection of wines also by the glass. Service is top notch: friendly yet professional and polite. The food is traditional and prepared with love. It takes time to receive the order, just because every fish is prepared with care from zero. Definitely my favorite osteria in Alba.

If you visit Alba, you MUST visit this restaurant. I strongly recommend the Tajarin; it’s made with forty egg yolks and Alpine butter. Ask to have white truffle too in it. At first you might think the Tajarin is bland, but as you take your second, third, nth bites, it becomes EXPONENTIALLY BETTER EACH BITE. It is simple, but absolutely heavenly. It is divine. Please, please, don’t skip that dish! I’d give it an infinity number of stars out of five! I love it so much!!

In love with this restaurant. I had the best sweetbreads I’ve ever had, came with caramelized onions, stunning . Absolutely amazing and a must. The tajarin with ragú was also amazing. Great quality pastas. We also did the ravioli en rabbit. Very accessible prices. Short but good wine list. It was full of locals which is always a good sign. A very casual spot with great food and service.

Abbiamo scelto questa osteria basandoci sulla nota guida “osterie d’Italia” che la propone come locale d’eccellenza della zona. Siamo rimasti sui piatti tradizionali: un antipasto misto, una fassona seguiti dai classici tajarin e cappelletti del plin. Scelte azzeccate che hanno incontrato pienamente il mio gusto. Di contro posso solo consigliare di prenotare e mangiare all’interno, il giardino esterno non è infatti al pari della offerta culinaria. Il servizio era impeccabile!

Unico problema occorre prenotare con largo anticipo, specie nel periodo dei tartufi. Pranzo completo con primo e secondo con tartufo bianco, dolce monte bianco (ottimo) bottiglia di dolcetto costo 230.00 euro

Cena in locale centrale e tranquillo. Porzioni non abbondanti ma prezzi nella media della zona. Tris di antipasti buono e lingua davvero tenerissima anche se avrei aggiunto un pó piu di cavolo per accompagnare il piatto fino alle fine. I dolci invece non ci hanno soddisfatti... Tornando indietro mi sarei fermata al secondo.

Bel ristorante in centro ad Alba, proprio in Piazza Michele Ferrero. Siamo andati con la bimba ed il cane. Il sevizio è veloce. Abbiamo preso il tris di antipasti piemontesi e il vitello tonnato era veramente uno spettacolo, buona anche la carne cruda, media l’insalata russa. Di primo abbiamo preso i plin, buoni, i tagliolini al ragù ed i tagliolini col tartufo bianco (40 euro). Devo dire la pasta era ottima così come il condimento. Veramente buona. Abbiamo poi preso die ottimi dolci: apple pie e tiramisù. Anche se devo dire che avrei preferito apple pie riscaldata. Unico neo della serata il vino: abbiamo preso una bottiglia di arneis che ci è stato servito molto freddo e abbiamo dovuto aspettare una decina di minuti per poterlo apprezzare ad una temperatura accettabile. Quando ho fatto notare la cosa in cassa la signora ha fatto spallucce dicendo che tengono il vino nel frigo.. mi spiace, ma da in locale che vuole essere di livello questo per me non va bene. Prezzo totale 126 euro.

The atmosphere here feels very authentic and the service was good. I really liked that they offer half bottles of wine, which is perfect for a lunch for two. The food quality was good, but for an osteria the prices are on the higher side and the portions quite small. Also, having a door open directly to the noisy kitchen takes away a bit from the premium feel that the décor and prices suggest. Otherwise, everything was nice, good food and kind service.

Based on reviews I decided to have lunch here during a day trip from Turin. I arrived soon after the restaurant opened and was seated right away. I ordered the veal tartare and the roasted veal. For the wine I asked for a suggestion based on my order. The tartare wasn't anything special, it was bad but nothing that made me want to ever order it again. The main course however was just the opposite as it was very enjoyable and really took my time to savor each bite. The wine was a bit tight and took a while for my half bottle of Nebbiolo to open up. It was good but not great.

Awesome food. We had the tajanin with truffel and the guinea fowl breast. Was all good. Truffle were kind of disappointing but that maybe that because it was June ... I would go with the porcini next time.. you can add truffle to everything btw. Really good wine selction we had a nebbiolo.
