Cantina del Dom Pinerolo Reviews
Compliments to the chef, there was nothing wrong with what we ate. The meat and cooking were perfect. The drinks and wine were perfect.
Very nice place and excellent service
Super!
Super!!!
The quality cocktails, soft lighting, and friendly, helpful staff make this place a must-visit for anyone looking for a drink in Pinerolo. The aperitif platter is packed with focaccia, pizza, olives, taralli, and other meat-free snacks, making it perfect even if your group of friends includes a vegetarian (like me) or a vegan.
Excellent wine list. It's unique in the Pinerolo area. The food is excellent for the price, and it's a popular spot for aperitifs among young people. Highly recommended.
Peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff. Excellent products, including delicious strawberry croissants (not whole wheat dough). Wide selection of herbal teas, teas, beers, and much more. Very affordable prices.
Welcoming place. We always go for lunch. The food is good, with a choice of two or three starters and two or three main courses. The price is reasonable, €24-26 for two. Recommended.
Cozy and nice place!! Good and abundant aperitif with a wide choice of beers! Good breakfast and lunch too! It also organizes event dinners, birthday parties etc..
Wine bar/cocktail bar located right in Pinerolo's Piazza del Duomo. A charming interior with soft lighting. A wide selection of wines, including some excellent labels from all over Italy, a few French labels, and a few bottles from around the world. There's also a decent selection of wines by the glass. Prices are reasonable.
The gnocchi with cheeses were really good... Too much, too much of a fried smell, it goes home with you. Perhaps a bit chaotic, too many tables. The bar area was excellent. Good experience.
Local in the historic center of Pinerolo. It is located under the arcades. It has tables both inside and outside under the arcades and outside, along the road on a rise, therefore "uncovered". Outside there were also blankets available. Young and polite staff. They often have events, I saw the various posters posted on the wall. You can both drink and eat. We ate taking advantage of the menu planned for the iron mask event. €25 per person, with a glass of wine included, included an appetizer consisting of 3 small courses, 1 first course, 1 second course and 1 dessert. The quality of the ingredients is very good. Recommended.
We ate well, in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The people who run the place are friendly and helpful. Young Ambra is always attentive and ready to serve.
I would have liked to give a positive rating, but we only managed to eat fried dough and that was it, the other pasta with very dry sauce. I'm sorry but I don't know if we'll go back, also because when we asked for something like a sauce with the fried dumplings to avoid them getting stuck in our mouths, it seemed like we had asked for the world.
I went there for L'artigianato di Pinerolo. The appetizers were unimaginative, with chips and peanuts, and the focaccia was dry. I don't think I'll be back. The service was adequate, but a little timid. For the same price, there are better places with quality products.
A lovely place located in the historic center of Pinerolo, a place that entices you to enter. You think you're walking into a pile of old-fashioned food, but the service is like walking into a pub. The wine is excellent, the prices are great. However, we ordered two starters, agnolotti with butter and sage, which were of poor quality (definitely not homemade) and gnocchi with gorgonzola, which tasted like gorgonzola but was instead floating in cream. I suggest that with a place like this, even if it costs a little more, the quality of the food would more than make up for it. Not recommended at the moment.
We booked a table for six at 9:45 PM and found ourselves sitting directly under a speaker blasting music at excessive volume, making it impossible to talk. When we politely asked for the volume to be turned down, the response was a firm "no," accompanied by a wry smile. This attitude already seemed disrespectful to the customers. The situation worsened when, at 11 PM, we were asked to leave the table because "1 hour and 15 minutes to eat on a Friday night was more than enough." We found it unacceptable that this condition was not communicated either at the time of booking or before ordering. Furthermore, it was clear that other tables in the same situation did not receive the same treatment, which further perplexed us. We used to frequent this place occasionally, but after this experience, we decided not to return. Rude and poorly organized service, combined with a disrespectful attitude, are certainly not the way to build customer loyalty.
Very unfriendly, unsympathic people working there. Passive agressive behavior called.
