Rajula's Kitchen Plano Reviews
Today at Rajula's Kitchen in Plano I received prasad from Lord Krishna with the special $7.99 dall, rice, sabzi, pickle, and roti meal box served by Rohan. The food was outstanding in regard to quality and quantity. The service by Rohan and the chef was superb. I highly recommend Rajula's Kitchen in Plano. 🙏🕉❤️
Went today for the Thaali offer and had amazing experience, food was soo tasty! It was super neat and clean and staff was very welcoming, it was a proper yummy gujarati thaali!! Thanks guys, Please keep this experience same!
Rajula’s Kitchen is very clean and well-maintained. Their pani puri is flavorful and satisfying—perfect if you’re craving authentic street-style snacks. I also bought theplas from their selection of freshly packed items, and they were quite good. The place gives you the feel of a traditional ‘stand-and-eat’ stall, adding to the experience. Definitely worth a visit for quick, tasty bites.
I visited Rajula's kitchen a few weeks ago, and I was impressed with their large selection of vegetarian options. I loved their pani puri and I was impressed with their plating. I will definitely be coming back here to see what new meals they have. Great experience! Highly recommend!
I recently visited Rajula’s Kitchen a charming Indian snack restaurant, and it was an absolute treat for the senses. The standout item on their menu was undoubtedly the samosas, which were incredibly flavorful and reminded me of authentic dabali. The crisp exterior and the perfectly spiced filling made each bite a delightful experience. Adding to the excitement was their live jalebi counter. Watching the jalebis being freshly prepared was a spectacle in itself. The golden, crispy spirals, hot off the griddle, were deliciously sweet and satisfyingly crunchy. Overall, this restaurant provides a wonderful array of traditional Indian snacks that are sure to please any palate. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy some authentic flavors in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
This is just an Amazing Indian restaurant where food tastes like just prepared in home. All their dishes are so fresh and definitely a treat for the belly. I have been a lot of times and it always feels good after the food here. Last time, we ordered Malai Kofta with roti, Pani Puri, bisibellabath, Maharaja Thali, aloo paratha, Samosa chat and filter coffee. Everything was amazing and the taste was out of the world. A must try Indian place first you in Dallas area!!
Best place for snacks . Samosas are always fresh and delicious. Onion pakoda is so good . I see there are lot of snack packages so I guess there is good demand for oil foods here .
Tried the Chaat Thaali, Taco Bhel, Vada Pav, and Pav Bhaji. Each dish has its own unique taste, and all are very good.
at $2 a piece all I can say that I won't be returning for the Samosa. They are ok but size and stuffing does not live up to the price tag.
We’ve had a variety of food items over the years at Rajula’s. Every time we go in, we are underwhelmed and don’t visit long enough to have forgotten about our experience. Unfortunately, I think this time was bad enough to make our experience stick. The food is overpriced and absolutely sub par. The papdi chat is 10-12 pieces of thick, underseasoned and tasteless papdi, 1-2 tiny pieces of boiled potato, 2-3 pieces of roughly chopped raw onion and tomato, a big fistful of tasteless sev, a drop of the green and red chutney each and some yogurt all packaged for 7 bucks!! The samosa chat is 2 tiny tasteless samosas dripping with oil and topped with a big ladle full of chole (really?) and the same spiel as the papdi chaat for 8 bucks. Where’s stuff like anaar daana, coriander, tamarind chutney, red chilli powder or even chat masala to spice it up? (if there was masala, it was so sparse that we couldn’t see or taste it). The staff will treat you like a criminal when you go up to ask for something - smiling once or twice goes a long way you know. There’s unattended cleaning carts and overflowing trash cans. Tables are unclean and trays handed over for carrying the plates have remnants of food items that 4-5 people ordered before us. We’re fairly gracious about our Google reviews but man, this place needs another visit from the health department. Won’t be returning here.
Recently I ordered onion pakora , sabudana vada and factories chaat in that onion pakora came very very cold and sabudana vada was too hard to eat i was totally disappointed with food quality, Previously it was nice but nowadays food quality is very poor got disappointed very much , I won't recommend in my opinion...
I tried Pav Bhaji at the Rajula’s Kitchen in Plano location. It was awful. It was runny, tasteless, and had a weird water smell/after-taste. Service was also subpar. And they served hot food in paper bowls and seemed the food was getting absorbed by the paper bowl, and particles of bowl into food. The pav bhaji, vibe, service, was disappointing. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
If you want cream laden color laden JUNK go here. It'd time these indian so called restaurants be told how to make simple stuff like Dal makhni without dumping a boat load of whipped cream in it. Waste of money. My last trip here
Unfortunately the food quality standards of this place has dropped. I visited this place in the weekend and ordered samosa, papdi chaat, bhel puri, misal pav, chole bhature and fresh lime soda. Except the samosa all the other items were mediocre. The fresh lime soda was a total rip-off, they say it is freshly made but saw the guy adding sprite to it.
Rajulal was a huge disappointment. The service was painfully slow, and the prices are way too expensive for what they offer. The matar paneer was one of the worst I’ve ever tasted—bland and poorly cooked. Honestly, I regret dining here and will never return.
Very disappointing experience. Service was extremely slow and the staff, especially the lady at the counter, was rude. We ordered a thali and several items were missing, with no replacements offered and charged full price. Food came out in long gaps, so everything was cold by the time it arrived. Samosas were oily, and to top it off, we were told we couldn’t eat them in the restaurant—even though it was well before closing. Overpriced, poor service, and below-average food. AC was set to 75 . Would not recommend.
We went to the Plano location with my family, excited to relax and enjoy a meal together after a long hectic day. Unfortunately, the entire experience was extremely disappointing. We originally asked for Thali, but the cashier told us it’s not available after 3 PM. So instead, we ordered dahi vada, dabeli, aloo bhaji with puri, mango lassi, khichdi, kadhi, and samosa. After waiting 20–25 minutes, the food finally came out — and it was just awful. Samosa: Cold inside with water leaking from the masala, clearly frozen and only half-reheated. Absolutely no flavor. Khichdi: More like plain rice than actual khichdi, completely bland. Kadhi: Just thick besan batter, no spices or taste at all. Mango Lassi ($7.99!): Tasted like sugar syrup, nowhere close to a real mango lassi. Almost everything was inedible, we had to throw most of it away. On top of that, the staff seemed untrained, the service was careless, and the tables were dirty, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Total waste of money. If I could, I’d give it 0 stars.
I visited the plano one the manager of this place is bad...he seems like does not understand customer service. The order time for missal pav takes 40 mins even not in rush hours..and do not go with the images on the order kiosk...as they are false images ...when asked to the manager about this the only word he say is that's just according to specification....don't understand what specification ...
First impression, prices here are bit expensive side. There should be some sought of price control on restaurants (like rent control). Ordered Onion samosa and Mix chat and a Chai. Samosa was okay, Special mixed chat is terrible, and it tastes like cold vomit 🤢. $2 Machine chai was as pathetic as expected. This is definitely not a recommended place to visit.
