Great place , cant stop talking about the food the jalapeño cheese burger was amazing, they even served us even though they were closing
great breakfast. eggs Benedict was amazing. Update. Went for lunch this time. Patio is awesome. Food was amazing. I definitely recommend the BBQ bacon cheddar burger. Staff is extremely friendly. Will definitely come back again
The burger I got was delicious! Not a small burger. The service was great and the atmosphere was perfect. Finding this spot was easy and you can eat outside and feel the ocean breeze.
The best food! Staff are professional and attentive. We go there at least 5 times a month. It can get busy, but worth a wait. Outside seating and parking. Fish and chips are great and the French toast is a favorite. Crab benedict is wonderful and hamburgers too!
I love this place. The food is clearly made with care.
This is a wonderful family run restaurant. The fish and chips here are amazing! The burgers are also wonderful. There is limited seating so there can be a wait. The food is worth the wait. I would have posted pictures but we inhaled everything before I remembered to take photos.
We have always had a great meal & service. Our last stop I had the chicken pesto sandwich, that was superb! My husband got the angus burger, which he always gets for lunch there. Have been before for breakfast as well and never disappoints. Great place to stop while traveling Hwy 1. Point Arena lighthouse is right down the road. Hours have changed due to the pandemic, so call ahead to make sure they are open.
Ya, you'll have to drive to the edge of the United States to have the best biskets and gravy anywhere. Excellent food and hospitality.
The best fish tacos I’ve ever had. The calamari was cooked perfectly. Clam chowder was perfect. Really worth the stop for lunch. All the locals looked like they came in for lunch. Do yourself a favor and stop in for lunch on the way down or up Highway 1
Tiny but SO worth it. The food is amazing! The staff is awesome! Absolutely delicious.
If I could do 10 stars I would! I had the BEST cinnamon roll pancakes E-V-E-R! I got the child size & still wasn't able to eat it all. I even got a to-go box bcuz I didn't want to leave any behind. I don't do that with pancakes! Friendly staff, a strong coffee, & good portions of food. Waitress kept my cup full. Small & homey place to stop on a foggy, dreary Sunday morning.
They’re super adherent to wearing masks at all times. It was great to be able to sit down at a restaurant for breakfast and know the staff and customers were all being safe and wearing masks. They cleaned everything before you even sat down. Breakfast was amazing, I recommend the eggs benedict; the eggs were poached perfectly and the hollandaise was super rich and lemony. The hashbrowns were great too. This was a great place to stop for a meal, it’s right off highway one and has a great outdoor seating area. The staff is super friendly and welcoming! Will definitely be coming here again.
We picked the spot because it had a patio where our friends could bring their dog, but we were blown away by the food quality. We were impressed that the gravy seemed scratch made and the oatmeal had bite.
Went there on Saturday for breakfast and on Monday for lunch. Both were excellent! Had a typical bacon, eggs and hashbrowns as well the poached eggs on crab cakes for breakfast. For lunch we had the chicken pesto sandwich and the captains platter. All of that was great! Very tasty and good portions! Have been here every time we visit Point Arena and were never disappointed! Already looking forward to the next time!
We were driving to see the lighthouse. Looking for a good burger along the way. This little place rocked the best burger we've had. The flavors of these juicy burger was unbelievable. I ordered the frickles (fried pickles) with mine, and my fiance ordered his burger with fries. We both were so into eating our amazing delicious burgers, we hardly said anything word until the food was gone. I can't wait to return here. I would love to try there breakfast specials next time. We both definitely recommend this burger Cafe! 🍔 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ #juicyburgers,, #friedpickles, #deliciouscupofcoffee!
My husband and I went to see the lighthouse and stopped at a local cafe on the way. It's very atmospheric, the food is delicious, the service is top notch. I really liked the atmosphere and the paintings.🤗✨🍳
Amazing find! This place is a must go. Food is fresh and comforting! Staff is attentive with local art that decorates the walls. The chicken fried steak is a must. I can’t tell you enough, if you come by this way, stop by. Just make sure to check hours.
Some of the best breakfast we've had! The breakfast burritos was huge and the guys in the kitchen really know how to poach an egg 👌
Comfort food. Big portions. I had the Country version of biscuits with sausage gravy (egg and sausage were layered on top of the biscuits). Seriously fantastic food right on the coast. I wish we had this up where we live. The pictures are the sausage gravy and biscuits with hash browns and the blueberry pancakes which were also great.
The BEST Biscuits & Gravy I have ever had in my life (I am 58yrs old)!!!!! Very friendly staff and great service. I also had the special - Eggs Benedict with crab cakes (see pic). Excellent hollandaise sauce; creamy with the perfect amount of lemon tang. The eggs were poached perfectly. As good as any upscale restaurant could do. We will definitely eat here the next time we come to the area.
Stopped in for breakfast while traveling through the area and it was AAAAHMAZING!!! Best omelet I've ever had!!! Service was even more amazing than the food!! Great family ran cafe! I'll be making it a stop anytime I'm in the area!! Highly recommend!!! I had the Monkey Omelet minus tomatoes and the sourdough was awesome!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was great the atmosphere was good too. I would highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. We are planning on this as a stop on our next trip. I'm on a protein only diet, and they were able to make me what I asked for.
Friendly staff, delicious breakfast, large portions, and creative menu. The patio dining was cozy with the fire pit warming the cool, bright, and crisp morning air. The Ghirardelli White Mocha is the best way to start the day!
The coffee is amazing. This place satisfied my search for a good breakfast place. There is indoor and outdoor seating, if it's busy they'll give you a cup of coffee while you're waiting (that was so clutch) and they know what "well done" bacon means. The service was very friendly, but there was a bit more wait time than I expected (yes, I took into account the level of busy they were). Shout out to their amazing hostess! This spot has a great location, great breakfast, great people, great coffee, and beautiful flowers out back. Enjoy!
I only come here a few times a year but every time it's great food. chicken fried steak and sausage patties are amazing. I search for fresh sausage like theirs. the coffee is strong, not watered down. country gravy is great with chunks of sausage in it. it's a small place so don't be surprised if you have to wait on the weekends. we camp at Manchester KOA and ride down, especially when the racoons eat all our food.
Was looking for a lunch spot and happened upon the Rollerville Cafe which had the best fish and chips, burgers and cappuccino around!! Service was outstanding. Highly recommend eating here!! Hidden gem along the coast.
Classic greasy spoon diner. Everything you'd expect with friendly staff and plenty of locals. Strong coffee.
Take a short drive to the lighthouse, and on the way back, stop and grab lunch. I can't recommend the fish and chips enough! Staff were all very attentive too.
This cafe is a hidden gem along Highway 1. It’s no easy task accommodating a group of 20+ cars and 30+ guests + local reservations, and mgmt did an amazing job setting up extra tables and chairs on the lawn. Great service and amazing food!

Everything is excellent here, but the other day one of the specials was a fish sandwich (cod) called the whaler, and it was SO GOOD! So fresh, on great bread with a cool tartar like sauce. Everything about it was excellent and I am still dreaming about it. I can't get this at home. It is on the regular menu as well
Best Country Fried Steak along with the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. And I have had many. I also had the chowder, freshly made, a couple of days prior. One of the best i have tried also. It is a small café but definitely worth the time to check it out. Sit outside on the patio. Clean and protected from wind/rain. It will be our go to spot the next time we are in the area. Yummy!

This was a nice stop along Hwy 1! We came starving which wasn’t the best idea. It was very busy but we were seated right away and the young person who sat us was just wonderful. We did have to wait close to 45 minutes for our breakfast to arrive which was frustrating (because we were starvin Marvin’s) BUT the food was fresh, homemade, cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly. We didn’t get a chance to take pictures of our meals, we inhaled them as soon as they were placed in front of us! But the country fried steak was perfect, the French toast was amazing, we ordered a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy was HUGE and pretty tasty. We were pretty pleased!
Was pretty good. Seating was easy. Staff nice enough I suppose, smiling and warmth could be more genuine. The food was delicious though. That gets the stars (really 3.5) to 4. The service was ok as long as you spoke up and asked for coffee refills and jam for biscuits, if you like that sort of thing.
Perfect spot for a roadhouse right outside Point Arena. The chowder was hot enough to burn my mouth but delicious and not too thick. Nice crisp fish and chips in a beer batter with fresh fries and an Asian slaw (sesame salad sans chicken). The service is from a local family that's attentive and cordial but not pandering or schmaltzy.
My SO and my family went for breakfast a late Saturday afternoon to get breakfast. They have a small number of tables outside and even less inside. It was like quasi counter service but I was hoping for a sit down. Due to there are signs everywhere saying your time is limited to one hour. Everyone enjoyed their breakfast. I believe everything is fairy priced. Their hours on Fri-Sat are till 7pm when we called.

I liked this place, both the atmosphere and the hearty breakfast food. The only reason I rated the service as three-star was that the food was quite slow to arrive. I'm sympathetic to the difficulties of running a restaurant, but thought I'd give a heads up for those who don't have time for a relaxed breakfast.

We heard high praises of this place so we decided to have birthday lunch there as we live nearby. We figured it might be busy for Mother's Day weekend so we were okay with waiting. Upon arrival, they had a wait-list so we only waited 5 minutes for our table. We had just sat down and server asked if we were ready to order. Mind you we just sat down. Haven't eaten at that place before. Asked nicely for few more minutes. After our order was taken, we never saw the server again. The bus boy delivered our meals to our table enough to walk away before we could ask for drinks refills, napkins and more ketchup. 3 of 6, of us had our hand up saying excuse me to bus boy, 2 servers that walked by us. Alot of tables had just left so busboy was cleaning table next to us and we kindly said excuse me. He walked away. Of course new customers walks in the server and bus boy helped them. We decided we couldn't finish our delicious meal without some drink and decided we will just be nice to see ourselves out soon as a server (not ours) handed us the check then proceed to ask if we needed anything after 20 minutes of trying to get attention, we were polite to be little loud but we were ingored (their body language showed too). It seem we came in the wrong day to have birthday lunch. Their food was delicious but service was poor. We should have tipped the chefs. Maybe someday hopefully we get a server that is happy to serve us. I normally don't leave negative reviews but it left bad taste of a experience.
Waitress was rude. Food took 30 mins to arrive. Food was eggs and toast, tasted like it had been made in a dish that wasn't washed. Egg whites not cooked. Bacon clearly microwaved from store bought. Extremely cramped. Dead fly near the window. $38 for bacon eggs toast and hash browns. We ate 30% of it. Floors dirty. Busboys/waiters etc not wearing aprons. Bathroom disgusting, no working lights and unclean. Soap is watered down. Needs health inspection.
