Then he says "Hey! ..When we're done with these sheep will go into the Station and hit up the Side Street Kitchen for lunch, my treat" Well, that was the most welcoming news I've ever heard... well, today anyway. And, let me tell you something ..When Plinkus Picklebottom offers you lunch, take it because you'll probably never get the offer again! We had great burgers and an amazing lettuce wrap thingy, both were 5 star items! ☆☆☆☆☆

Hands down the best BLT I’ve ever had! The pork was crispy and the roll was soft and warm. Reasonably priced for the area. The waitstaff were really nice and even ran after us when my friend mistakenly left her purse behind. I can’t wait for my next visit. TU

Great outside patio dining with an umbrellas! we were looking for a quick lunch spot, and Side Street delivered! They are dog friendly on the patio and provided water for our dog. Order inside (menu posted out front) and they bring it out to you. We had a salad and open faced veggie salad. Both were excellent, as was the hibiscus tea.

We got the pork belly sandwich, half chicken with the sauce trio, and crispy Brussels sprouts. The yellow curry sauce was my favorite but everything was delicious and perfectly cooked.

Indoor or alfresco dining. You pay upfront so no waiting for a check. Roasted chicken, brussel sprouts and butterscotch pudding for dessert is my go to meal here!

While returning from point Reyes lighthouse, we made a pit stop for breakfast. The atmosphere was great, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Food was good too.

The rotisserie chicken was simply delicious! Cooked to perfection served with some rustic potatoes. The kids quesadilla was also good and quite a generous portion The staff were very friendly. It was cold outside and they promptly offered to set up the heater. It’s a simple yet cute place. If you’re nearby don’t hesitate to come!

Don’t skip the pork belly BLT and baby gem salad! It’s a must for every time I’m in Point Reyes and have been coming back for this meal for years. The pork belly is decadent, melt in your mouth, top shelf. The bread is bouncy and holds this delicate balance of fresh tomatoes and lettuce with juicy pork really well. The baby gem salad adds texture and freshness that only California produce can really nail. It’s so so special.

Great place. Cost came out to 25 bucks a person. The cod is tender and delicious. The sourdough bread with the open Faced veggie sandwich is out of this world. An amazing place to go when the weather is sunny. Just really feels like a peaceful and wonderful place to eat and rest.

My mom and I had a wonderful brunch at Side Street Kitchen! I had the pork belly eggs Benedict which was so insanely good! I have never had a Benedict served on buttery toast instead of English muffins. It really made a delicious difference. My mom enjoyed her pork belly BLT and we loved the smoked oysters! Our Brussels sprouts were also perfectly crispy and sprinkled with yummy cheese. The chicory coffee was tasty and perfectly sweetened. We loved the casual dining and fun atmosphere on a beautiful day trip to Point Reyes. We will be back!

I went to this place for a late lunch. It was not too occupied. One has to order at the counter and wait for food to come at their table. I tried one of their sandwiches with chicken instead of pork. It was delicious! I enjoyed it. The rotisserie chicken is full of flavor and the side potatoes are delicious as well. The must try item though is the butterscotch pudding. It’s smooth and yummyy!!

Very good apple fritters, quinoa bowl with sunny side egg. Steak tacos was ok. Cute, cozy atmosphere even though there was no room inside so we sat under a tent.

Was there is Sept. Probably the best Tri-tip sandwich of its kind. ☺️ I even thanked the chef. Roasted Chicken was good. It may need a brine. roasted potatoes tasted fresh and line the ones in Italy. Wine - Rickshaw Chardonnay was a new taste and was great. We found a store in Santa Rosa and bought 1/2 case. Side Street is a do again place to eat. Staff was lovely and kind. Would love to try their breakfast and other entrees!

First Timer and will return soon. Inside and outside dining off Main Street. Great Brussel Sprouts... Fresh, delicious House Salad with Avocado added. Dressing was tasty.

A Hidden Rotisserie gem at Point Reyes Station! Side Street Kitchen is a collaboration between Sheryl Cahill (Proprietor) and Chef Aaron Wright (Executive Chef). It all started when the previous business in this location closed in 2015. The look and feel of the place is a combination of 50s diners and modern California eateries. Their menu is small by diner standards. It offers a selection of sandwiches, entrees, and a few salads, small bites, sides, and desserts. The ingredients are all from local farms. We discovered the place a while back but did not have the opportunity to dine there until a few months ago. The food is delicious! Their roasted half chicken is fantastic! Their Quinoa Salad, which comes with feta cheese, black olives, wild arugula, and tomatoes, is delicious. I also enjoyed their side of Crispy Brussels Sprouts, which comes with a touch of parmesan, pepper, and coriander. They offer several beers, ciders, and wines if you wish to have a drink. You may consider their delicious Apple Fritters for a few extra calories and wash them with a good cup of coffee!

We stopped here for an afternoon snack after an early lunch oyster stop in Marshall's. We'll definitely be back for a proper lunch, this is a quiet restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, limited menu but perfect for our needs. Great prices on wines, plenty of parking and away from the crowds. We had cauliflower pieces, tried their excellent sauces, had a chicken quesadilla and mac and cheese. Both adults and kids were happy trying out this restaurant.

A cozy spot for a break with calm atmosphere. Food was tasty, not so much seasonings, a huge variety of Vegan options in the menu. Waiting time is around 10 minutes so it will perfect work for a quick stop and good quality food.

While driving the PCH, we had many opportunities to stop at small towns to shop and, most importantly, eat. On this day, we had several good options and chose the Side Street Kitchen. There are plenty of menu options and reasonably priced. As with most California restaurants, we chose to sit outside and people watch while waiting for our lunch. Sandwiches were great, and I found out I am a big fan of pickled jalapeños and onions that I asked for on the side just in case. Place your orders at the counter and take a seat. Inside or outside seating is available. The beat part of lunch was the fresh apple fritters. My mouth is watering as I type this review. So good and love

We loved this place two years ago! To an extent that we drove one extra hour to this place for a second meal. However, it is a bit disappointing this time. The chicken is dry inside , not juicy like before . The apple fritter is very dry inside . The lettuce salad is not fresh ( green stem shows pinkness already ) . Service is great .

Food was delicious but $15 for 2 small potatoes and a quarter of an avocado is crazy. I don't know why I thought the portions were going to be bigger in such a fancy town

We stumbled upon this place and due to the star rating decided to have lunch here. The food was flavorful although the pork belly sandwich was more than 3/4 fat 1/4 meat. It was a bit odd to send out a sandwich with so much fat. We stood at the counter to order for about 10 min before anyone would help us. The 3 workers walked by us many times but no one would acknowledge us or take our order. Once they took the order no one would look directly at us or act like we were there. It was all very strange. Finally, a blonde curly haired young man (didn’t see his name) came to the register and was wonderful with customers. That all being said, the food was tasty. Not sure I’d ever go there again though.

I stopped at this place because it was along the way to San Francisco from the beach I visited. I have to say the atmosphere and staff are great, friendly and welcoming. The menu could have more selection on it. However, from what I have ordered to go I can say the following. Rotisserie tri tip sandwich in my humble opinion could have had more meat on it. Also, the beef was chewy and not juicy how you would expect. I gave that sandwich three stars for flavor and composition. Side was potatoes and they were done as you would expect but had nothing extra that would make them stand out. The second sandwich I ordered to go was Pork blt. This sandwich had more flavor and the meat was juicy. However, the goat cheese on it in my opinion ruined the flavor because it is so overwhelming. The side was mac and cheese and it was as you would expect also nothing to stand out. Furthermore, I wish they would give more pickles with each sandwich because three tiny slices just dont cut it. Overall, food could be much better for the price and also being that this place is in prime spot passed by all the tourists. I expected more I guess. Staff made it somewhat better with their smiles and positive vibes.
