What Customers Say About 8 Mile Pi
8 Mile Pi is known for its Detroit-style pizza, especially the Motown Meat Lover and spicy Fun Guy Forno. While many rave about the taste and generous toppings, pickup can be slow and confusing, with long wait times and an unpleasant kiosk system.

8 Mile Pi Point Richmond Reviews
If you love thick pizza, Detroit style pizza from 8MilePi is the way to go! So cheesy and filled with toppings. Smog pizza is my fav. There’s multiple locations so it’s convenient to satisfy my pizza cravings. They also have yummy wings and a packed chopped salad if you want other options. Their pizzas are huge and are so filling for lunch or dinner.

I ordered and picked up from their cloud kitchen in SF. I ordered Motown Meat Lover, firehouse special and cheesy bread! The portion was huge, pizza was loaded with toppings. Both pizzas were great but I preferred the firehouse pizza for the extra kick! Excited that they have so many locations to order and pick up from!
i love all their pizzas i can never pick a favorite! my favorite place to get detroit pizza!! 🍍🍕 their sides are amazing too- i got the jalapeño cheese bread sticks & bbq wings!
Great Detroit style pizza! Gotta have their spicy fun guy forno or Motown meat lover. They have some of the best cheese bread such great mozzarella 😄
Decided to enjoy this great weather with a picnic at Lake Merritt in Oakland! The awesome pizza and wine helped make some special delicious memories! 🙏🏼💯
We ordered three of the larger Detroit pies on Friday night and all three were 10 out of 10 and we would encourage anybody to give this place a deep dive.

Pizza wasn’t bad but I feel like for the price it wasn’t really worth it, instead I’d recommend Square Pie guys or the frozen motor city pizzas. Ordered over the phone and was quoted about 15 minutes. Drove over after 20 and the kiosk thing (which requires a code sent in a follow up email after ordering) said it would take 15. There wasn’t a person to talk to anywhere in the building that I was able to find, even called out a couple times. Eventually got a text saying the order was ready for pickup about 10 minutes afterwards, but still took another 5 before it was deposited into a box where I was able to get it with yet another code.

Pizza was a solid OK, overpriced for what it was. The process of picking it up was confusing and unpleasant. You pick it up at some lobby where a bunch of door dashers pick up food, sign in at a kiosk, and then wait for a person to come to a counter and you tell them you're here for your food. I wouldn't bother, and won't again.
Rarely do I write a bad review about good food but the venue they serve out of is a disaster. Serving dozens of restaurants from one counter is absurdly slow and inconvenient. Almost every patron there seemed frustrated. I ordered on the phone and was clearly told 15 minutes. I was ten minutes away so I got gas first and arrived 16 minutes after ordering. After waiting 5 minutes to talk to the woman helping people, she said it would be a other 15 minutes until my food was ready. At any standard establishment this would elicit an apology, at least, or a free item at best. Nothing at this impersonal vending machine of an establishment. So I went to wait in my car for a other 15 until I got a text that my food was ready! Finally I could pick it up and go home...except I went in to wait another 15 minutes until I could be helped! So at this point it took me 45 minutes to get lukewarm pizza that I was told would take 15. I definitely wouldn't have paid 30 dollars for a pizza that takes 45 minutes at the end of a long day. So I felt tricked by being told 15 minutes for tepid pizza. That said, it seems like the pizza would have been great if it was hot, but the delivery was so terrible, this deserves 2 stars for otherwise good pizza.

Absolute trash. As a Detroit native, I've experienced Detroit style pizza from the restaurants referenced on 8mileπ website. In no way, shape or form should they be comparing themselves to places like Buddy's. Our pepperoni pizza (12x17) had a sprinkling of pepperoni, a tiny amount of sauce dribbled on the cheese but none at all under the cheese, and hardly any caramelized cheese on the edges. It was dry. It was sad. It was barely pizza, let alone Detroit style.

Haven’t had such terrible quality food in a long long long time! 😑 please move on and find a place where they care about their customer!
Ordered the pizza at 6pm. Everytime I checked it said 10 minutes. 7pm it still wasn't ready. They promised 10 minutes. At this point I don't care what it tastes like I'm never ordering from them again
Said the order would be ready in 32 minutes but took 52 minutes instead. This is really take-out pizza? The slowness makes it more like fine dining but with a meeting pizza.
