Acuña Poio Reviews
A very welcoming place. The staff were very attentive and friendly. They have a wide variety of breads, pastries, and delicious empanadas. We bought two meat empanadas, and besides being generously filled, they were absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back.
I love how Yoli, my Colombian friend, Lorena, and the other girls treat me. The coffee, the tapas, everything is delicious, the atmosphere is wonderful and welcoming, and the staff are amazing. They treat their customers with great dedication and the respect they deserve. I wouldn't trade my place for anything.
Great especially in the morning for piligrims
The price-performance ratio is good, but customer service leaves much to be desired. Perhaps paying more attention to customers than criticizing suppliers or colleagues would help.
The service is appalling. I go there almost every day to buy bread because there's nowhere else closer, and the staff's apathy, lack of empathy, and even rudeness are obvious. I used to go there daily for a drink too, but I've lost interest. (Or rather, the waitresses have.) Rereading the reviews, I understand they treat some customers much better than others, which is unacceptable in any business. It's deplorable.
The change machine gave me one euro less; the girl thought I'd kept it. She told me the machine doesn't malfunction (that's why they get repaired). The waitress was sweeping and mopping while people were in the place. The coffee was boiled, and they served stale pastries with it. Those poor women are clueless; I guess they're paid very little.
Terrible service. We said good morning twice, but even then, the clerk didn't respond, which, to make matters worse, was extremely unpleasant. The coffee is unpalatable.
Today I went at 8 in the morning to see if they had sandwiches, the worst thing is not that they don't have any because I understand it but really the manner if as soon as you open they treat you like this imagine at 12 in the morning. This has been happening all the time, the attitude of the waitresses, I am no longer the first complaint and nothing changes. Only 2 are saved at most and as long as they don't change the staff they will lose customers and customers. Because nobody pays to be treated badly on top of that
I hope they open another bakery across the street because with even the slightest bit of better attitude they have, they'll lose all their customers. The waitresses give you dirty looks, throw things at you, and don't even ask who's there before serving you. Especially the one who's supposed to be in charge. I've never seen anything like this in my life, even though I've worked in the industry, and I would never dream of treating anyone like that.
Terrible service, the waitresses with such bitter faces that it's mind-blowing, then the takeaway coffee with lactose-free milk at €2.05, the most expensive price you'd find on a terrace in Sanxenxo, I'll never go back there... It must be because of the cafes...
Terrible service from a girl who is there, a bad attitude and very rude and bad treatment, instead of giving you a cup holder like they do in other places, she gives you that box and on top of that she gives me a torn bill stuck with tape and you ask her to change it and she answers you very rudely that she doesn't have anything else but that bill is fine it's just stuck with tape, I personally won't go back there, I prefer other Acuña where they do treat you as it is and not there because I don't know how they have that kind of people working for the public.
I recently passed through Poio and stopped for breakfast. Decent coffee and a good cream-filled filloa. The place was spacious and accessible. But the service was poor, with sneers when ordering and serving. Shouting and bad manners among the waitresses. The worst part was when I went to pay, the waitress started talking about "the black guys who come from out of town to steal and take advantage of others," and tried to convince those of us waiting in line to pay to agree with her. My breakfast was a real drag. Not racist. I couldn't go back to that place. It's a matter of principle and decency. I feel so sorry for the management and the rest of that waitress's colleagues, because someone who behaves like that in the workplace can't be easy. And for the customers who have to put up with such outbursts.
Poor service
