Talay Thai Pompano Beach Reviews
I totally have to come back! Yes, the Shrimp Pad Thai was AWESOME but I LOVED the Sex On The Moon sushi roll. There isn't a night since we've left that I don't crave their Thai Donuts, I love how they're shaped like petals and they pull apart so easily and are warm and flakey.
The sushi boats here are awesome we have gotten these several times when entertaining clients or a group of us from work. The Thai food is also delicious, cannot go wrong with any of the Thai curries, chicken and pineapple fried rice is also legendary and I get this all the time! I must have eaten from here at least 50 times and it’s always great.
The restaurants ambiance makes you relaxed and the service is great. I had the chicken patai level 2 and it was very good. Their sushi is fantastic and has a hidden cache. I would recommend this restraunt to the avid sushi person.
Some really good Thai Food. Huge Serving and only 8.56 or something like that for lunch. Well worth the money and the 2 mile walk it took to get here. Would definitely recommend. I got the Pad Thai with no bean sprouts or green chives. With a level 2 Spice. And let me tell you, even at 2 out of 5, it was still pretty spicy. At the other Thai place I've been to, I got a 6 out of 10 and this 2 put of 5 kicks that 6 out of 10 in the face. The Miso soup was definitely soup. I've never had Miso soup so I can't say. It was okay but not to my liking. I'm sure it would be pretty good to someone who likes Miso Soup though.
The food is AMAZING! Chicken Satay with peanut sauce is the best I've ever had! Green curry chicken is so delicious and full of flavor as well as the Red. Owner & son terrific people.
Pad Thai bento box lunch special. So much food at a great price. Usually order over the phone and staff are friendly and helpful. Parking lot floods easily when raining but the food is always worth it.
Always fresh and excellent food, my favorite lunch box and all the different curry for dinner
Very good food, fast and tasty. Service was also very good. The staff took care of my party of 20 quite easily
Food was good and spicy... Will return very soon for more.
Great food and service! I had the rock and roll sushi roll with Thai tea.
Yaaaass i love it when I find a hole in the wall authentic, fresh, fresh fresh yumms

The food was delicious. My green curry was very savory and my husband loved his beef pineapple fried rice. Thought I took a picture but must have just dug in as soon as I saw the food.
Of all of the Thai/Japanese restaurants o have eaten ate, Talay Thai always is my favorite by far. The new location is beautiful and with lots of ambience. I often pick up an order to eat at home and am never disappointed. I ordered a roll for the first time and was impressed with it. Hard to describe exactly what the difference is. The ingredients were crispy and the flavors weren't muddled. The rice wasn't soggy and I could taste all the layers of the ingredients and it tasted like it was prepared just before I ordered. Often times the food looks pretty but doesn't live up to taste. They do it right in sight and taste.

First time here and I enjoyed the food. I love spicy Thai and most places are afraid to add the. but not Take Thai. Service was friendly and efficient without feeling rush. Will coordinate.e back again. Recent visit was as delicious as the previous. Highly recommend this place

I would give this place 3/5. The food and flavors were good the appetizer portions were really small. If you like it spicy make sure you ask for five spice. We tried the sushi as well and it was not worth the price.
I had a JB Tempura Roll and it was delicious! My coworkers also enjoyed their meals. Service was ok. They need to do a better job with the restroom. I went to wash my hand before I ate and restroom was disgusting.. and for that I am removing a couple of stars.

Waited an hour and a half for the main course to arrive. Ordered a Tom Kha Gai soup, which was very sweet – unusual for this soup, but I let it slide because it's a coconut base. Then we waited. And waited. Finally, the seaweed salad came, and it was also sweet. I complained and they brought us a new one. I think they just added salt and brought back the same one because we both still tasted the sugar/sweetness. Then we waited again. The sushi came. Also sweet. The shrimp dynamite role also tasted burnt. Won't be coming back here. Would've given this place one star but the waiter was very kind to us, and tried his best to make it right because I was not happy.

First time here, probably the last. Placed an order for pick up, first impressions were good, women taking the order was very nice and I appreciated that. As you can see, gyoza burnt so bad it wasn’t even edible. Sushi was sub par, spicy tuna roll was not spicy at all we didn’t even end up eating it. I do not recommend you visit this place.
The blandest food I've ever eaten. I ordered the broccoli, carrot, and oyster sauce chicken entree. The chicken is overcooked and has absolutely no seasoning. There is no oyster sauce. The liquid in my dish is water. The carrots and broccoli are raw.
