Moo-Moo Port Lavaca Reviews
People are human. People are prone to mistakes and hopefully learn to get it right. But sometimes we work so hard to take care of business that we don't realize when we need to go take a break. Definitely got a good team here, but don't expect perfection because people are imperfect on both sides of the counter. If you have a bad day one day, don't let it stop you from tomorrow.
They did a nice job with the design and it was very clean. Food was really good and gracious portions for the price. Support local, we will for sure be back.
Loved this place. Moo-Moo in a town called Port LaVaca could it be any better. Chicken was great. Gravy was even better. While it’s mostly a chicken place you can still get a burger too if you wish it.

Saturday night. 5:30 drive thru. Delivered by young guys...Back at camper by 6:00...maybe a 15 minute wait. Crispy chicken sliders and country fried chicken combo. Lots of fries! Threw them in the air fryer since I like them crispier...will be back.
very tasty burger and they hooked my dogs up with some ice-cream. will definitely go back next time I visit Port Lavaca.
This was my first time trying moo-moo. I was a little upset because there wasn't any table service. You have to walk up to the register to order, and then you can sit down at a table and wait for your receipt number to be called out. I personally feel like the staff could be trained some more for customer service. But the food is good and kid friendly as well

They were out of chicken well the white meat when I went but got tenders instead but still.had to wait over 5 minutes. The mashed potatoes ok but I like the gravy.

I'm a frequent customer. I love their chicken. BUT you can't call in an order for a quick pickup before work, because they NEVER answer the phone. REALLY annoying!!
Order Fried chicken. But smell like Fish 😡😡 had the smell on my fingers. Not Happy.
Eh.... Think I would patronize one of the other places and compare. I tried 2 and of those 2 this establishment ranked at the bottom
If the owner is reading this, I would suggest spending more time in your business day to day.
This was my first time trying them so I got three different items. I got the fried fish which was very delicious and great portion size for the money. I also got the wings and they were pretty good but their sauces are lacking the flavor that I was looking for. I also got the burger and it was way too overcooked! It was so very dry! Please put a little bit more effort into your burgers. As far as the service goes, it was good service and pretty quick for my three items. The cashier was very welcoming and even told me about discounts that I didn't know I could get. I would try their again, just to see what the other items taste like. I keep hearing good things about the gizzards and onion rings. I may also try the chicken.
Ordered 2 chicken fried chicken plates. The batter on the chicken wasn’t crispy. Very pale and not fully fried. The corn was lukewarm but the cob was frozen still / ice cold. Okra was perfect but it had left over & burnt pieces of bacon in it. Sweet tea was good. Greenbeans has too much dry seasoning making them salty/over-seasoned. The only thing that was edible was the rolls and gravy. This was our second ad last attempt trying Moo-Moos. First time was opening day and it was chaotic but we figured it was expected & they would sort things out for the better. I had high hopes for this place.

This is my second time eating here. Not happy this time my chicken strips were very disappointing for the money I paid. looked like a kids meal.

First time going through the drive through and the last, the wait is unreal. No excuse to wait that long to get the worst hamburger I have ever had. The frozen meat patty was way way overdone. The tomato still had the end on it, the onions were in big chunks, and very very dry burger. Did not expect this for the price. The only good thing was the onion rings. Will not be back!!!!

First time trying and had to wait over 30 mins for my meal and it wasn't even right. Was very disappointed.

Don't bother with the drive tru unless you wanna sit in your car for an hour waiting for a FREAKING BURGER MEAL.... RIDICULOUS. I suggest you call it in...the place was not even half full. Slow slow slow slow....I sure won't be eating inside... probably takes 2 hrs to get your meal. I drove off after 40 minutes and let em have that burger... definitely not going back ..I'll stick with Dairy Queen. If they can't put a burger and fries out in 20 minutes or less they should probably close up that drive thru
Ordered gizzards with gravy and coleslaw. Got home and very few small pieces, no gravy and no coleslaw. My wife had a burger with onion rings. Onion rings were good, burger was not. Will Not go back...coleslaw i wouldn't feed to a dog...
Food was not what we expected it to be the chicken was way to greasy and potato salad had a strange taste to it. Then they were out of rolls didn’t substitute them or even asked if we wanted something else but still charged the full price
I ordered A large gizzard and liver with a side of onion rings. First they gave me my pieces of liver and gizzards. and then I had to go back and ask for my onion rings and gravy. There was no whole gizzards and little bitty pieces of liver, I will not be returning to this location. The Victoria location is much better.
I'm editing my recent post due to my experience on Friday, October 3rd. My buddy and I arrived and placed our order at 2:25. I ordered first, bacon cheeseburger and fries. He followed with his order of a 50 wing special and a burger w/fries. His order finally came out at just minutes before 3 o'clock. I asked where my order was and the girl was lost. After a minute or so we walked to the counter, looking through to see the girl cooking was just then putting my food down. Again i let myself think "okay, five minutes". Well, at 3:25, I walked out. No refund, no explanation, just hungry. It leaves me with the thoughts of the integrity of the whole place. Starting with the poor service, lack of management, and leaving to question cleanliness. I don't think I'll risk my chances again.
