Cappuccino Cottage Poway Reviews
This cute little coffee cottage is under new ownership and is owner-operated. Cute, unique menu. I had an oat milk shaken espresso, and it was so smooth & flavorful. Good quality coffee beans. We went back later in the day to try the energy drinks. They were so good! We had the Moonbeam & Unicorn energy. We substituted the coconut milk for lemonade. If you don’t like it too sweet, just get fewer pumps of syrup & it will be perfect! Please support small/locally owned businesses. If something isn’t to your liking, it doesn’t hurt to let them know so they can stay on the up & up with quality & customer satisfaction! 10/13 updating with pics from my recent visits. The owner is so creative with the drinks!
Love this spot its so good the new owner is amazing all the employees are so nice every time I go. Coffee, pastries and energy drinks are so good so happy I stumbled across this place
Cappuccino cottage is the cutest little coffee spot. I don’t live in the area, so I was on maps trying to find a spot. So glad I stumbled on it!! The girl working was so sweet and made me the BEST coffee. She heard me when I said I liked a little coffee with my creamer! 🙂 if I’m in the area again, I will be back!!!

Super cute coffee shop. The pastries are from O’Brien’s bakery, so they are super good. There is a new owner named Anna who is really nice. Definitely recommend this place!
Great coffee and even better service! I had a sleepy hollow it was rich, and perfectly balanced. The staff was super friendly and is in a great spot. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
I pop by this place every Sunday to get my morning coffee. I love their drinks and friendliness. The ladies are always helpful with any enquiries about new seasonal items.
BEST SERVICE , the girls are always so nice no matter how early it is Coffee is pretty good, as well as their red bull blends ! So good! I recommend if you’re in the area!
Perfect! Everything was so wonderful and delicious. We had a chai latte, an Irish coffee and two pastries. The coffees were hot and the pastries were fresh. The staff was so friendly, helpful and we got our coffees so fast. You guys are awesome. It made our day. We will be sure to stop again when we are in Poway.
Love this place the staff and owner are the sweetest !
Needed a quick fix and could not have found a better spo.t Jolie is the sweetest barista and so personable. Amazing raspberry mocha blended. Definitely coming back!!
Been going there for 15 years. I do the 25.00 dollar card. I own a small biz and love to support others. Plus they have super big sizes and aren't over priced for the convenience of good coffee and a drive thru.
Olivia makes my coffee perfectly! Favorite shop to go to. Amazing customer service all the time. I would go everyday if I had the money.
Olivia and Cary are THE BEST employees who run CAP COTTY and the service provided is always incredible!!! Im a student at Bellus and I really dont know where I’d be without this little coffee shop.
Nice little walk up or drive up coffee shack. Outstanding service and good coffee.
I have been to this coffee shop several times now since new ownership and have tried a different coffee every time and to my surprise it’s always good. I have been drinking coffee religiously for over a decade and have become extremely picky about my coffee. So it’s nice to find a place that has the convenience of a drive thru with great quality coffee.
Delicious and flavorful latte! She’s got a great menu with inventive flavors. I can’t wait to go back.

I came here because I was in the area, and figured why not try out this cute drive thru coffee shop. I paid $6.50 for a 16oz iced vanilla latte that didn’t taste like anything😔 I was so dissapointed in the lack of flavor, when the drink was handed to me, the cup felt warm at the bottom, and the ice cubes were halfway melted, and the drink wasn’t filled all the way to the top. The two barista girls were lovely and sweet but for the price, it’s not worth it imo, I ended up throwing it away (picture was taken after 3 sips)

I had high hopes based on the rating. However the maple latte I had tasted only like sweet. And the coffee my G/F got was cold and watery. We had her coffee remade and it came back watery but at least the second time it was hot. For $4 I'd expect flavor and heat the first time. For my money AM/PM has better coffee.

I really had hopes that this little shop would be better than some of the reviews I had read. My wife and I, who are not very picky, decided to try it out. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The staff was courteous and kind; however, the selection was lacking. I ordered a latte with an extra shot. They didn't have whole milk; all they had was 2%, so go figured it wasn't going to froth. That lady sure did try though, and the result was boiling hot milk. It was so hot when I first tried to drink it; I burned my whole mouth. Even when we got home, it was too hot, and I had to mix it with heavy cream to give the milk some volume and cool it down. I have never, in my whole life, burned my mouth from steamed milk. My wife ordered a small caramel macchiato. She asked that kind of syrup they used and asked to substitute the hazelnut for toffee nut, but that was unavailable. The pricing and up charges are kind of weird too. Its $.90 for almond milk doesn't matter if you order a 12oz. or a 32oz its $.90 even though one used 20oz more. A .50/.75/.90/1.05 charge based on volume used for size seems to make more sense. The coffee was average; once I got some cream mixed into it, it was ok. I probably would give it another try, but not carrying whole milk is a deal breaker.
I used to go all the time but the $5 minimum to be able to use your card really got me. As a young college student I never carry cash so it was always an inconvenience. However, I would just buy a $5 gift card to pay for my $4 and some change drink. Eventually, I just stopped going because I'd rather pay a little more at Starbucks where it tastes better and they let me use my card. Today, I didn't have time to go to Starbucks and went back to buy my drink. I ordered it, they asked me several times if I wanted whipped cream and I said yes at least 3 times. When I got my drink there was no whipped cream, after that I asked to buy a $5 giftcard to pay for my drink and then was lectured about how they are a small business and was told that the obvious better decision was to buy a $25 gift card when I would get a free drink. I respectfully declined the offer as I don't go to the cart often. Then, I was further lectured about how every swipe costs them a percentage and how my paying with a card was such an inconvenience. Then, the cherry on top the woman told me to "just carry some cash". Sorry, won't be returning.
