Great staff and food

The staff sang along to the piped in Spanish music. How much more authentic can you find unless there's a mariachi band too. Great place for a quick lunch.

We had a great quick lunch. This new Pollo Loco is so nice. I had the double chicken salad. It was great. Loaded with chicken and avocado. I will order it again. The dressing was very tasty.

Ordered the four piece family meal and the double chicken tostada. Both were amazing! Highly recommend getting extra tortillas and the cilantro ranch dressing.

I stopped by for a chicken bowl to eat in the restaurant. Ordered the regular bowl. It was good with salsa fresca in top. I was hungry before I started eating but not hungry afterward. The place was clean inside, and the restroom was clean as well.

Food was very good, prepared quickly, and reasonably priced. Staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. All were wearing masks.

Great value, fast service and tasty fresh ingredients! I went through convenient drive-through, ordered tortilla soup and tacos Al carbon. My meal was wrapped and ready to go when I got to the window in a bag with condiments, napkins and utensils. Soup had lots of chicken and vegetables.

This is a newer El Pollo Loco located where used to be BK. I never ordered anything other than the chicken meal before. Tried the taco and it was beyond delicious. The restaurant is very clean and staff is very nice. My favorite location!

As always this is a great place to grab a quick bite, if you're into chicken it's awesome. They have healthy options as well.

They have a patio, we surprisingly weren't the only people with dogs on the patio. The food was solid, it came out quickly, and they even gave us extra plates without asking since we were sharing.

This one is great. The young lady, I believe her name is Aleida, is extremely helpful and polite. She made my dining experience much more pleasant. The food is warm and delicious. Also, the bathrooms are very clean. This restaurant, especially Aleida, deserve a high rating in my opinion. Thank you

Restaurant was clean since the moment you arrive at the parking lot. Food was satisfying and service was fast. Workers were very friendly and welcoming as soon as you walk through the door.

The associates were so great here! I haven't eaten at such a clean restaurant in ages! What a pleasure! They even were wiping down the legs of furniture. Food was great too! We will definitely go back!

One of the place I come when I think of chicken, but the app really bad though.

I usually love getting the chicken breast. I decided to get a combo. Breast and wing but sub the wing for thigh. I would have to say eating towards evening is probably not the best. The breast was dry and very very small, like meat may have been missing from it. Thigh too was a lil small to me. They did have and hour and half before Close but I guess next time I go, ill just go for lunch. Love the tortilla soup.

As with all food restaurants prices have increased because of the governor's mandate, but with a coupon it was still somewhat reasonable. Chicken meal for 2.

The lights for the menu board were not on when I drove through - but thankfully they were open. Got a Chipotle Avocado Chicken Burrito and it was good. They don't accept EBT and they don't have more variety of diet soda or soda water, they only have diet coke, everything else is excellent.

Not allowing indoor dining even though other restaurants are. Outside dining traffic noise.

The chicken is usually as you expect for el pollo. Which is all I really ask for with this place. The customer service is a C minus on a good day. Dine in is pretty unwelcoming so I wouldn't recommend it.

They got our order all wrong and even the specific questions we answered.

What’s up with the hours??? It’s the THIRD time where it said “open” but when I get here it’s closed ... please update the hours to prevent this.

Order wrong and left out a whole part of the order and put something random in its place. No receipt at all to see if they charged for the random item and this was only discovered after you got into the fort knox like bag. I don't know whats is going on with the front crew and line cree but something isn't right.

El Pollo Loco is not what it used to be. What a disappointment.

They have good food and prices are reasonable, but unlike other Pollo Loco branches, they consistently do not give a receipt. They will only give a receipt if you ask for it explicitly. Getting a receipt is important. First, they may be evading taxes. Second, you cannot collect rewards for purchase. Third, they may charge a zillion bucks to you credit card and you cannot prove this is wrong.

The chicken was and always has been consistently dry, not much more to say.

We went there when it was a couple of days oped and the service was horrible, the lady that took our orderthru the drive thru was very rude, and when we got our food she gave us the wrong drink so I went inside and the ladies that were in there were rude talking in Spanish and laughing I told them I understand what you are saying if you don't like your job go somewhere else and I walked out never will I go there again for I might catch a case 😂.

I ordered a three piece and when I got home, I got a miniature chicken leg and two thighs that were dried out, and two mashed potatoes with little gravy. 😥 not happy.

There was a long black hair in my 2 piece combo last time I was here.

I used the app to preorder and had a 20-minute drive to get there arrived and we still waited about 10 minutes. The inside dining room was a weird vibe, and its nice furniture but it's not inviting lighting is dark &feels very corporate. And the outside was cool until inrealized there were no umbrellas so the sun was so hot. I wouldn't go back. Customer service was great though.

Served old food on Saturday 8/27/22 - Chicken . Corn Beans Rice looked liked they were day old & smelt off- Had to chuck in TrashOnly Tortillas was fresh - Did not even get Avacado Salad as advertised for Family Deal. Never going back to this Dump in Poway.

Don't go here. My girlfriend and I ordered 2 Chipotle burritos with 2 drinks. One Chipotle burrito was so hot and I believe an employee made it too hot on purpose. It tore up my girlfriends stomach and she's been throwing up since we've returned home. One burrito had no Chipotle and it was nothing but chicken bones and dark meat. This branch in Poway needs to be shut down like Burger King!!!! The employee's talk trash In Spanish about the customer's as well.

Ordered takeout. Two double chicken tostada salads and a chicken quesadilla. There was almost no lettuce in the salads and a miniscule amount of queso in the quesadilla. Usually the food here is ok. Not today though. Since I live 30 minutes away I couldn't take it back. I will look at the items before I leave the next time or just dine-in.

The "new" quesedillas are made without cheese. I'm told it has queso, but I neither see it or taste it.

The lack of consistency at the Scripps location is very disappointing. I order the same items several times a month, but just never know what I will get. The pinto beans can be old and very spicy one time, and the next perfect. This also applies to other menu items. Where is the quality control? Will have to find another place

These people have TERRIBLE service. The staff got my order wrong twice. And their website menu is different from their actual menu. My food was 30 minutes late. AFTER I had already gone to the store to pickup up the food. I would not go here again. Its a waste of time and money.
