First of all - a great location in the middle of nowhere, for example, pizza... If, like us, you don't want "German spoken," this is the place for you! Super authentic Italian pizza at a very fair price, and at least in our off-season, "German-free" and full of only locals... That speaks for itself in all of Italy! And very friendly, and easy to order... We were like a virgin to child while looking for a parking space, arriving at Pizza Bella Italia just BEFORE the most amazing view of Lake Maggiore...

We had lunch here. The dishes were good, both the first and second courses. The homemade tiramisu was also excellent. We saw that they also offer pizza... we'll come back and try that too.
This pizzeria restaurant on the Verbano hills is a real treat during hot weather. For those who like old-fashioned pizza, this is the place to be; it's generous with the ingredients. I can't comment on the food. The staff is very friendly.

Lovely restaurant; food was very good. We were the only guests (it was late in the season and we were late) and even then the cook made a delicious diner for us. Owner was very kind and helpful.
Hard to say something about food, as the kitchen was closed when we came (around 17:00) and after hard negotiations in a mix of English and Italian (the staff barely spoke any English) we received ice cream and coffee. I don't get how a restaurant could be open but not serve food. Is it normal in Italy?
