What a great visit here at Vernon's! We had never been and stopped on our way up to San Antonio. Our server Sandra was the sweetest and the food was so tasty. I had the hamburger steak and it was so delicious. My daughter has the banana loco pancakes. Over all great place! We will come again and try the pizza.
Everything you expect from a small town cafe at the highest level. The food tastes amazing and has tons of character... the fluffiest pancakes, hand pressed juicy burgers and home made style fries that made me feel like a kid at Nana's house. Service is friendly and welcoming. The wife was craving a BLT that was not on the menu but they whipped it up for her and it was delicious.
Chicken parmesan is a 10/10
Everything you expect from a small town cafe at the highest level. Chicken Fried Steak was really, really good seasoned just right. Pizza was delicious! Service is top notch. Definitely plan on stopping in again next time we travel down this way.

I ordered out, but the hostess was very friendly with the customers and myself. The food was delicious and the cook there is an actual Chef. Not too many people can say that there's an actual Chef out here cooking for them. Best wishes to this establishment. I'll be coming back to try out the rest of their menu for sure.

I loved the Hamburger Steak, it was so delicious! My grandpa was a bit sad that they ran out of chicken fried steak but him and i ate the Hamburger Steak up! My husband got the chicken alfredo and he loved it. My mama got the chicken tenders and they were good as well. The broccoli was a bit hard but they were still good. Our server, Kyla, was a doll. She made sure we were alright and one of the other ladies loved my son. Overall a 10/10!!
