The crust of the pizza here definitely needs improvement, but besides that it's a good place to stop for a slice or two if you're in the area and hungry.

Mid pizza and they frequently close early for no reason.
It's okay. Cash only and it's next to the park which is nice. 3$ per slice, The dough was a bit bland while the cheese was a bit too salty. Not worth making a destination out of but it hit the spot to walk in the park eating pizza!
Bene Restaurant & Pizzeria Layout/atmosphere *One TV by display case; nine faux leather booths; cash only Food/drink *Grandma slice (square) - OK; thin crust; strong garlic taste; no crisp

Grabbed a slice to go. Decent enough if you're walking by and are hungry, but wouldn't go out of my way or order a pie there.

This place used to be a really great neighborhood spot. I don't know whether it changed hands a couple of years ago or if management just went downhill, but they never seem to have fresh pies anymore. I walked in today around noon thinking that they'd be sure to have just brought at least a cheese pie out of the oven, but no go. Everything on offer looked stale and totally unappetizing as usual. The premises are poorly maintained and none to clean. It's really a shame because it's always just empty now despite being right across the street from the park.
Conveniently located across the street from Vanderbilt playground. Pizza is meh. The white slice is particularly unimpressive. It's cash only. I can't exactly recommend but if you're at the playground and desperately need fast pizza (and have cash), it's sufficient.
served us a very cold tasteless slices , won't recommend it
Ask how much before you order, this guy wanted 10 bucks for 2 slices that wouldn’t have been able to tell from a frozen pizza.
Bland terrible pizza. It's Brooklyn please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere

Not a clean place.
Garbage food and also inside everything was dirty
No pick up the phone
listen sorry this was just not good
A limp, wan dough topped with what might pass as cheese in a post-apocalyptic hellscape, accompanied by a tomato sauce that must have been sourced from the tears of disillusioned Italian grandmothers. Pass.
They handle cash and food. Need to wear gloves. Even their atm machine is very dirty. All their seats are torn up. They need to invest in their customers. Its 2025, you have to have cashless transactions available. No excuses.
Unfortunately, the pizza was disappointing. The place didn’t look well kept, and just walking in raised concerns about overall cleanliness and food handling. I wouldn’t recommend it there are definitely better pizza options elsewhere.
Eat here only if you enjoy old congealing pizza that was made several hours earlier and has sat there getting cold. Every day is a shot in the dark as to what items will be available. Sometimes I come in the early afternoon sometimes I come mid afternoon and sometimes I come in the evening and there is no consistency with what is being offered as far as grandma slices, grandma squares, etc. you also better like Mexican music and Mexican music videos because that is all that is being played on the speakers and the television When you want To sit down and eat your food, you will be in a decrepit rundown seating area with ripped caved in seats tables that are rarely cleaned, and there is always a man with his shoes off, sleeping in one of the booths. They charge $1.50 for a one dollar water and the same goes for all cans of soda. This pizzeria used to be good but no longer
