Terraza La Choperia Puebla Reviews
Excellent place. The terrace is very pleasant, and they also play good music. We were surprised to hear metal that goes beyond the mainstream, like Mercyful Fate, Celtic Frost, and Running Wild. The service was quick even though it was quite busy. We went to watch a game, and they played the audio without turning off the music, which was great. The beers are always cold, and the staff are very friendly. The nachos are delicious and generous. Highly recommended.
A really nice place for a beer. The hamburgers looked amazing. Next time!
This is a good place for a beer and a snack. It's small, basic in decor, and has an upstairs, open-plan space. The customer service is good, the music is average, and the prices are in line with the portions. I think it's a place for quick get-togethers with friends, casual dates. I'll come back to try the food. Aspects for improvement: their restrooms 🥴🥴
The place is super comfortable and the terrace overlooking the park was very pleasant. The beer is nice and cold and they have Modelo; I also liked that they sell León. I disagree about the food; the melted cheese was excellent for a bar. What ruined my experience were some rowdy customers who seem to frequent the bar. The prices seem reasonable to me.
It was my favorite bar before the pandemic, but it's changed so much. I feel like the prices are ridiculously high, the music is really annoying, and the waiter took ages to serve us. I think they can go back to being the bar they used to be with good deals, good service, and good music, but for now, I'm definitely disappointed 💔
I'm giving it a few stars only because they have Grupo Modelo beer on tap and the views of the gardens are spectacular. But the burger I ordered was awful, it tasted awful, the meat was tough and burnt. The fries were delicious, but I'll take a pass on the ketchup, it's the most ordinary and cheap.
Very noisy tiny bar. Great beer selection, but bad food. Ordered simple beef and mushroom dish, which was 90% finely chopped cheep hotdogs which I couldn’t eat.
Affordable prices, terrible service, awful and incredibly loud music. It's the kind of place Don Armando would take Betty la Fea to. They wouldn't come to collect the payment, so we had to go to the counter to ask for the bill.
I'd been there several times and liked the place, the calm atmosphere and moderate music, but this time it was the complete opposite. The staff is really annoying, they take a long time to serve you, poor organization and logistics, they start shouting and turning the music up and down, you ask them please if they can broadcast soccer even with the music, and depending on the staff, they're really annoyed and they turn the music up even louder, shouting and singing... now I understand why the waitresses they had are leaving... Anyway, they should change the staff because they don't even make me want to come back.
In our search for the best burger in Puebla, we found this nice bar/restaurant right next to the convention center, overlooking a historic garden. The double-beef burgers get an 8; the bun falls apart easily, the fries are thin and have great flavor and texture, and the chicken burger gets a 7. The chicken breading gets soggy long before it reaches the table, but it tastes decent. The draft beer is Victoria. The restaurant is in a perfect location with an incredible view; the only downsides are the following: the bathrooms are falling apart from age, and the chairs have torn seats and are extremely worn. Message to the owner: Don't be stingy and fix the chairs and bathrooms, please. Unfortunately, the garden isn't lit at night, so the view is lost. Even so, it's fine for a beer and something to eat.
Hated the too loud metal music. Amazing guac. But chips were overcooked. Great prices. Gorgeous view of the park.
The place was nice, the food was good, the service was so-so, what I didn't like was that they add a 15% tip when you pay
Very bad service. They overcharged us, and when we mentioned it to the waiter, he acted very offended and forced our tip on us.
