Been visiting this diner for years. Every visit I always get their delicious wood grilled ribeye steak with baked potatoes. In my opinion it’s better than some steakhouse. Ask for a medium rare for best experience. NOTE: use to be way thicker. But still delish

My husband and I stopped in for dinner. Richie’s Diner is one of our favorite places in Rancho Cucamonga.He had the Chili Cheese Burger with tempura Green Beans and I had the 1/3 Cheeseburger with Fries. Both were tasty. When our server, Natalie M, came back by to check on us, we couldn’t pass up the Turtle Sundae. It’s enough for 3 people. You must share it!

Came here this past Friday night on a recommendation from my parents. I never leave reviews but I have to let everyone know how GOOD of an experience we had. From the start, Jimmy (the manager) was exceptionally hospitable and even told us we can pick out our steaks since we told him that’s what we came for. He then handed us over to our waitress who was pure class, highly attentive and extremely polite. Appetizer (potato skins) were on point. The side salad (pre steak) was fresh and a good portion. And the main entree, a nice sized Ribeye came out perfectly cooked, sizzling hot. My son even ate most of his grilled cheese. We will be coming back, and hopefully Jimmy and our waitress are there this next time around. I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Tonight my husband and I went to have dinner to Richie’s Diner, at first I was a little annoyed because they took long to bring us our food. But after our server came to apologize very nicely and then we heard how the manager was being so nice and his kind words to the birthday boy that was sitting next to us. That made everything so pleasant. Of course our food and desserts were delicious. I will definitely be coming back! :)

Great food ! We walked up and saw a huge smoker in front of the restaurant. Baby back rib and smoke chicken are a must! Vanilla ice cream is to die for. Our service Bryan was patient and consistently check on us.

The atmosphere is very reminiscent of an old-school diner and patriotic which we truly loved, The food we had was delicious, and Allison was our server and she made it a perfect trifecta!! What a great and caring staff. Shoutout to our to the girl who sat me, Franco who took my order, and the woman who brought me my second coffee. The manager gave me a card to review this as I left and he was not pushy or anything like that. He just asked kindly and honestly if I would leave a review. I’ve never really left one of these before. I was born in 1998 in a small town in Massachusetts and we have no Richie’s there that for sure. I think about Rich Snyder, the president of In N Out at only 24 years old. Wow! Truly a powerful namesake for such a great place to have. I think about him dying in that plane crash and I weep. Try the kielbasa and glazed ham.

Has the 50s diner feel. Great choice of foods and every meal I've had has been outstanding. I personally have not had them, but the desserts and malts look amazing. Their barbecue items are grilled fresh outside and look and smell delicious.

Madison was our server. She was super attentive and patient as we forgot to check the menu while caught up with one another (many years since we'd seen each other). The food came out fast and it was delicious. The Senior Breakfast Special is top of our suggestion list.

This place was awesome. We were greeted warmly and immediately shown to a table. I had the sweet potato pancakes and I would absolutely order that again-very yummy! My friend had the trip top and I got to sample a bit and it very flavorful and juicy. The managers came by to check on us and offer refills. All in all- fantastic service, amazing food, and friendly atmosphere. We will be back!

This place never lets me down! Last night I ordered the steak and shrimp with the loaded baked potato. I recommend sharing the loaded patatoe. It’s is real big!! Costumer service is good. The only thing I would say if you’re trying save at the wallet be careful on all the little extras, they charge pretty high. I was charged $2 just to add cherry in my coke! They got a little busy and forgot my asparagus… and took a long time to bring it so make sure you got everything on your plate.

We decided to stop at Richie's Diner on Saturday, Nov. 30th as we arrived from Big Bear. I ordered Blueberry Pancakes, Hash Brown, and Bacon. The server offered me the plate that would be better price. I appreciate that. I would only recommend the kitchen staff to sprinkle the powder sugar a little better. Overall, I enjoyed eating with two of my older siblings, the kiddos and my parents. They picked a good area to sit our big group. Thank you for the other servers checking up on us. It truly showed me that this team works together, especially on a Saturday morning when it gets busy.

The atmosphere was so great with merchandise all around. Feels like a throw back diner with great music. The food is cafeteria style taste but in a good way. Wow, this place has amazing steaks. I ordered the ribeye steak and eggs with potatoes, and the flavors were simply amazing. Compliments to the cook's. They were pretty busy for breakfast. The wait time was 15 minutes or less well worth the wait time. Our waitress was friendly and checked in on us frequently .and they also had a waitress refilling the coffee ☕️ . It seems we come here often yet Ive never left review. So here it is. The service and the food here are always great. Reasonable prices too. This is one main reason I return. Great portions and good taste. For breakfast I enjoy the pancakes and breakfast potatoes with my coffee that they keep filling. I dont ever have to ask for more, they are on top of refills. Their flavored Ice teas are also good. The shakes are yummy. They have good steaks and chicken that they make outside in the smoker. It's family friendly. I like to have breakfast/dinner here with my kids bc it's not super quiet and not too loud. Music plays in the background. Over all recommend this place for the quality of food, prices, and the friendly attentive service.

Francisco is 👍 great. Talk about delicious food. The atmosphere is most excellent. Food is fast and fresh. You have to try the smoke ham. The homemade jelly is lumpy which I love so you know is really jelly instead of 98% sugar and 2% fruit. Prices are a good value. July 17, 2025 six month follow up. If I could give this place 10 stars I would!! Absolutely amazing from the second we walked in to the second we left! The music- sooo good! The deco and design, perfect!! Our waitress Paulina was a rockstar, the man who brought our food handed everyone their plate with such a flourish that everyone was smiling when he left and Jimmy - was a doll! So fun! He even made sure to announce to the whole restaurant that a man nearby was celebrating his last day of chemo which of course got an applause from the whole restaurant! Natalie is seriously the Amazon of this location. Whatever we needed she got it to us fast and without a problem. My husband had the pork chop breakfast, and it was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked, nice, and juicy. I had the spinach omelet, and it was the fluffiest egg white omelet I have ever had, not watery at all that sometimes you can get with this kind of omelet. Filling as well. Food is done right here!

Food was great but the experience definitely made it better by our waitress! Lorena was super attentive and kind! Consistently checking in on us to make sure we had everything we need. It’s rare to see that attention to detail these days but she’s one of a kind! Will definitely come back soon.

Came here with my family this Sunday 11/23. Excellent service and welcoming atmosphere. I can tell the restaurant was busy, however the nice young lady, Paige made sure we were taken care of. She made sure to pick up our waiters slack and made us feel like a priority unlike most restaurants nowadays… Will definitely be coning back!

I’ve been to Richie’s a handful of times and each time has been wonderful. I love the atmosphere and the food is delicious. My go to is the eggs Benedict with the country potatoes! This was my first time having a shake and it did not disappoint. By far what makes Richie’s stand out is the amazing service! We were served by Paulina and she was very attentive and kind. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and always checked on us to make sure we okay. This was some of the best service we have ever received. We will be back and would highly recommend Richie’s to anyone looking for a great breakfast spot.

I’ve been coming to Richie’s Diner for breakfast for a while now, and the Richie’s Breakfast Sampler is hands down my go-to. All the meats are amazing, and the tri-tip is cooked perfectly every time (I get it medium-well). It’s by far my favorite dish here highly recommend! The service is always amazing, wait times are minimal without sacrificing food quality, and the atmosphere is a fun 50s diner vibe. Bathrooms are always clean, which is a huge plus. The 50’s diner feel create a great atmosphere. What an amazing experience. We have been to many restaurants, high-end, lower end but i can honestly say I have never had a manager staff like this. We were a large group so you never know what kind of service you will get. Karla was super attentive and spot on with everything. We had several children and told her it was one of the kids birthdays. Normally you get an ice cream and a song which is great. Here the manager was the one that brought the ice cream and staff to sing. He made a BIG deal for the birthday girl. They were all amazing. The food was great too. I HIGHLY recommend this Ritchie's. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome from start to finish 😊. We started with the fried zucchini, which was crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked inside. The clam chowder soup was rich, creamy, and full of flavor—exactly what you hope for in a classic chowder. For the main course, we ordered the triple barbecue combo, and it did not disappoint. The meats were incredibly tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavor, cooked just right and very satisfying. Overall, great food, generous portions, and outstanding service. We visited Richie's Diner last week and it was outstanding experience . Because of my medical condition, I had special request for how my food (steaks) needed to be prepared. The manager, Manny personally came over, listened carefully to my concerns and made sure my food was prepared exactly as I needed which meant so much to me. That level of care is rare and you don't find everywhere. Great gentleman . Our server was polite and very attentive . Portions were generous, food was fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious . I highly recommend Richie's Diner to anyone looking for great food, exceptional service and place that truly care about their customers. We will definitely be returning .

Richie’s is one of the more famous diners along former Route 66 and I know they have multiple locations, at least three to my memory. I have been to the Murietta location, but this was my first time at the Rancho Cucamonga location. They both look very similar in that as soon as you walk in you find yourself in a very large and busy room filled with employees buzzing all around. You enter through the gift shop and usually don’t have wait long to be seated. We had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated for a table of two for our Saturday 10:30 brunch. They have plenty of booth, table, and counter seating available but no outdoor seating. There is also a giant parking lot attached right out front so there are plenty of spaces available. Our server was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. They really lean into the 50s retro diner so expect to hear some great tunes that you would find on a jukebox. We started off our meal with one of the giant Cinnamon Roll and it was really good. It was a little more dense than I like, but I still really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend. It was a large size portion so it’s best to share. For my breakfast, I chose Eggs Benedict and substituted out the ham for sausage and thought it was a good addition. I tried to do it with chorizo because they have chorizo and eggs on the menu but was told that’s not possible so I’m guessing that’s because the chorizo and eggs is already pre-scrambled. Overall it was a great breakfast and I would recommend Richie’s to anyone in the area or passing through.

We loved this place! We found it after camping at Silverwood Lake, on our way home to the OC. The Diner decor is charming, the service was great, and the food delicious! We had breakfast. All the food was great,but my favorites were their glazed ham slice and their biscuits and gravy 😋. I wish Richie's was closer to our home, but we'll put it on our detour route every time we head to Las Vegas or camping.

This place is so very nostalgic. LOVE IT. This was my friend and I's first visit and we are fans. I ordered a Denver Omelet with home potatoes and the biggest English muffin I have seen. It was all exceptionally delicious. The home potatoes were cooked just right. Almost soft enough to melt in your mouth. I don't recall what my friend ordered, but he went on and on about how delicious the ham was. The smokey glaze. Oh yeah, he loved it. The service was great a well. I don't recommend sitting at the counter unless you want to get served from behind. However, you get a view of all the cool old school soda pop they sell. There are lots of nostalgic candies there a well. The music, just a very cool atmosphere! We liked it so much we went back 2 days later. And we will be back again. It's still lots to try.

This family owned business is very clean and they are all very friendly. The menu has lots of choices and the food was great. We woukd definitely come here again.

Irma, our server, was great. I had the tri-tip, cooked beautifully, and smokey good flavor, but the temperature was not hot. My wife had the Grilled Chicken Baked Potato. She was unable to finish it, it was so big. The chicken was beautiful on it. Could of used more cheese though. Took home a piece of Pumpkin Pie - O.M.G. ........Amazing!

Food is very good at Richie’s. The atmosphere and service are excellent. People working there are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is easy and casual with a few TV’s positioned strategically around to glance at while you eat. Had the Chicken Fried Steak which was OK wife had the 1/2 rack of Baby Back Ribs which was much better. They have a smoker and grill out front which ensures tasty and fresh BBQ. I won’t make that mistake again. The desserts are fantastic had the hot brownie sundae forgot to take pic which was excellent.

Breakfast: smoked meat sampler was really good overall. My wife got scrambled eggs and they were the worst I have ever had. Wife and daughter seriously questioned if they were powdered eggs but I was like there is no way. Once I tasted the eggs I wasn't so sure. The rest of the food was decent, not great. Based off of just the scrambled eggs, I could easily drop down to 3 stars, but hate to do that. Overall service was good and friendly.

Solid diner food. What more can you ask for? How about tasty Chilaquiles! Yes, this diner will bring peace to your family. "Whats for dinner? I don't know what do you want to eat". Everyone gets their favorite. As long as they like tasty food. Cause you got that one kid that is only eating food from Finland. Well that kid can eat ice cubes. But even that kid will light up when they realize this place is moving tons of banana splits! What!? Yep, there are piles of bananas for the banana split specials. So tasty.

Today we stopped for an early dinner, we ordered a rack of Baby back Ribs, their spaghetti with Parmesan Chicken and some breaded zucchinis, the ribs were falling off the bone, very tender and the BBQ sauce was just right, zucchinis are always delicious, however, the pasta was bland, we ended up rejecting that plate because we couldn't even start to eat it. Our server (Lorena) spoke to the manager and they just removed the chicken from the check, thank you for that, we still recommend this place for your next experience, my best recommendation is for you to try their stakes, grilled just outside the front entrance. Spicy chicken sandwich plate a good Nashville variety and onion ring option a definite plus. My wife's chicken fried steak plate was a generous serving. But the real treat here was the 5-Berry Shake. Next time we won't share one, even though size is definitely big enough to. Also love the quick on and off location next to freeway.

Pretty nice place! I LOVE me a good 50s dinner and to say the least, this one hits in the ballpark of having that vibe. Bonus points for the lovely 50s playlist they had playing in the back, adding to the atmosphere. Overall, decent service and food. I had the clam chowder bread bowl and…it was good! Loved it, but the bread was a little chewy. Can’t say if that’s normal for a clam chowder bread bowl, as this is only my second one ever. But the clam was delicious and fulfilling. Would recommend.🥖🐚

If you're price-sensitive you might be able to find a better value at another Diner, but you won't find the same experience or amount of menu options elsewhere! Food was great, service was friendly. Would come back to meet up for a bite sometime if I was in the area. If you're in the area I would recommend, especially if you like BBQ and steak.

Running the streets

Food was okay. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but the staff was nice and the restaurant was clean. They were very accommodating to let me bring my ESA in because he's very well trained and groomed. So I commend them for that.

Cool atmosphere here, had a busy truck stop diner vibe going on. Unfortunately the food is subpar and pricey. Belgian waffle was super dry, tasted like the kind you make yourself at a hotel breakfast. Breakfast potatoes were way under cooked, couldn’t eat them. Hollandaise was gritty and tasted off to us. Eggs were cooked well with the exception of scrambled which seemed to be made from egg mix. Kids meals were very small.

My family and I drove from Beaumont as we normally do twice a month, to have breakfast, but our server yolonda treated us terrible, serving us cold breakfast, even after I ask her to double check my waffle, because lately its been given to us cold, sad to say it was cold again, and yolonda was annoyed that I complained, she purposely avoided our table and never made eye contact, my family and I were shocked, all thease years, of coming here, and to be treated like this! Unexceptable.

Bad experience, the place is loud, smoke filled from the outside BBQ grill, bad service waited for ever to be sat at the counter.... waiting forever for a server to take my order finally left after driving a cup of bad coffee. It might be a great place for some people who are a lot more forgiving, I do not recommend this place at all... the breakfast menu was not impressive at all.

First time at this restaurant. Even said that as we entered. The Man behind the counter greeted us and welcomed us and said this lady would take us to our table and another would come along and take our order. We got to our table and ran through the menu and decided what we wanted. We waited and waited and waited. After about 15 minutes we decided to leave. I told the three waitresses standing at the counter that there is too many waitresses here and not out there serving the customers. So we are leaving.

I have no idea why this place has such a high rating. My breakfast sampler was cold, and I had to ask my waitress to heat it up. The food came out so quickly that I had a feeling it wasn’t cooked fresh. The SOS were okay. I still don’t know what the hype was with all these high ratings on the quality of the food. Our waitress was sweet, so nothing against that, but I’m just giving one service advice: get rid of the rude chick in the front with a horrible facial expression. She looks like she’s mad at people. Terrible!
