Caffe Pagato Redding Reviews
I had a difficult time deciding which coffee shop to go to on our 1 day in town and am very pleased with my decision to go here! It's such a cute place with friendly and welcoming staff. Pastries all looked incredible which made for more difficultdecisions, as did fresh salads with SO many options. We chose the breakfast wrap and a breakfast burrito. Coffee creations were creative and delicious as well 😋.
This place is the literal definition of a hole in the wall restaurant. We only knew about it because it was close to our Air BnB. As soon as we walked in it smelled like amazing food. Elisabeth greets us and recommends the breakfast burrito (delectable), and since we can never make up our minds we also got the breakfast crunch wrap (also delectable). Coffee was bold and satisfying. If you get a chance, swing by this gem. Great food, great coffee and Elisabeth and Makayla proved to be great staff! Thanks!
We went there to get some breakfast and coffee. Ordered herb n cheese croissant and veggie egg bites, both tasted really good. Highly recommend grabbing a bite here if in and around the area.
A delightful little place. Friendly staff, delicious coffee and pastries, fast WiFi, abundant power outlets.
Do yourself a favor and visit the fearless leader Michaela and her right-hand girl Maddie at Pagato. They have delicious food, excellent coffee, fast Wi-Fi, and an outstanding staff. Michaela is an excellent manager who runs the place with heart and passion. If you’re in downtown Redding near the hospitals and medical centers, this is definitely the best spot you can find. Bring your friends, your family, and even your patients if you’re a doctor. You’ll be glad that you did.
Love Cafe Pagato! Their homemade syrups and their specials are so delicious!
This place is a hidden gem! 🤍 Been trying to come for a long time and it’s a bummer I didn’t come sooner. The food is made fresh daily, they have varieties of breakfast options both sweet and savory 😋 The drinks are outstanding- they have some many cool blends and flavors and the staff is incredible! They make sure you love what you get and are willing to tailor everything to your hearts’ desire 🤗 deff recommend and will be back!
Redding, CA. Unique, great flavors to my coffee and sweet potato pastry. The space makes anyone happy with tables for extroverts and, on the side, a slim bar looking out the window for introverts like me reading and studying. Natural woods, high ceilings, warm lighting, the inimitably blue Redding sky with autumn bright leaves outside—-heaven on earth. Great music choices. Love that one of the baristas sang along. Happy banter amongst the team and long time customers known and loved. Great servant’s heart to the young person who took my order, brought me my food and went to get my utensils and asked about my book. Also Mel who, when I raved about it, shared how they developed the sweet potato pie recipe so it would go with the coffee; she’s the main brain behind it. Again, it was amazing and I can normally pick off spices but I couldn’t for this one. It’s just great sweet potato pie!!! And I’m keeping her recipe her secret so you’ll try it yourself. Highly recommended!
What an adorable and delicious coffee Cafe! ☕️ I had the winter white latte which was a white mocha style with Almond. Check out the adorable cream snowman the barista poured in my drink. The food here is delicious too, they have a revolving quiche that changes daily I believe.
The turnover was sooo good! Perfectly buttery and flaky with a tiny hint of cinnamon...filling was strawberry rum 😋 The box lunch is a great way to sample the menu. The Blackberry bacon panini was creative (let this cool down a little) and the creamy pesto pasta was great for dinner. Cookie butter iced coffee was super tasty and peanut butter cookie was good was too sweet. Also got the salad for lunch the next day and it was also solid. Don't skip this stop!
This was my first time here.. I am giving it 5 stars but a few things.. The staff is very friendly. It was not busy when I went at 10am. Cold brew is good. I ordered a quiche.. 20 mins later I still didn’t have it so I had to remind the gal.. she apologized through it in the microwave and gave it to me not warm.. :/ I just ate it anyways. It was good but would of been better hot.. would give this another try
I love Caffe Pagato! Their blueberry muffin is my favorite. ❤️ my favorite lattes are the Salted Carmel Rum, and the Holy Honey 🙏🏻
This place is awesome. I can’t say enough… My fiancée and I came here the morning after our engagement, the two gentlemen working were quick to provide excellent service and coffee on the house! The name of the cafe means “paid coffee” in Italian, as in paying it forward/for the next persons. After enjoying this quiche, we just had to do the same… Thanks, Caffé Pagato.

I came to study and it was amazing. Very kind and welcoming staff, the atmosphere was amzing, great music and the best food and drinks. I got a harvest chai and a parfait and they were both amazing. I also had the early grey brownie and it was all the best I've had. I 100% reccomend and will be coming again soon!!!
This is the best, most authentic coffee shop in Redding. Food and espresso are delicious and we always wish it was open on the weekend for a walk from home.
The Orange Mocha latte was great, the quiche was delicious taste wise & next level for hungry people . . . also super quick internet . AND super nice people working there .

Caffè Pagato is our favorite part about running errands downtown...every drink, snack, pastry, salad, and sweet has been perfection! The staff is so nice and attentive and it's just such a cute and inviting atmosphere. Flight of the Bumblebee and the Dubai Chocolate Mocha are must try items!
Love the whole experience and staff are always so generous and kind. Last time I went because they knew we were going to be working a long shift at the hospital nearby they gave us free Quiches to take with us. I can't overstate this place because it is honestly a gem. Thanks for feeding us caffeine addicts!
I live in the mountains but anytime were passing through Redding and this gem is open - im there. Coffee? Amazing. Food? Delicious. Staff? So welcoming and friendly. ALSO they have a lovely pay it forward bulletin board ♡ thank you for providing that service and I hope that the word is being spread among those in need and not just us regulars.

Stopped here on a road trip. Ordered the cragel which is half croissant/bagel with cream cheese in the middle. It was very salty. Couldn't even finish the darn thing. And some other pastry with egg and vegetables. It was meh, average at best if I'm being honest. Drinks were pricey. But the bathrooms were clean! I definitely wouldn't come back here again.

Atmosphere was nice, but very limited food and beverage options. Food also was not very good nor fresh. Breakfast Sammy tasted like it was from the frozen section of a grocery store (Jimmy Dean would have been better, actually). I thought it’d be a good option while visiting at the hospital, but was surely mistaken. It’s no better than garden variety hospital food. Folks working seem more interested in esthetics like a phone and ring light propped where they put the food and coffees versus actually providing an actually good breakfast.

Waited for everyone else in the cafe to get their drink orders even though I had ordered mine first. Smoothy was subpar, just ice and mango juice and the ratio was pathetic. Basically got mango flavored ice. Pastry was not very good either. The one girl was obviously new, the other one training g her saw me standing there while order after order went out and just ignored me. Sad, I work near here and would be spending money in the cafe if it wasnt for this experience.
