Elements Restaurant Redding Reviews
Rooms are great. My picture may be odd but wanted to show how dark these rooms are when shades are drawn. We always stay on comps. Hotel front desk is always friendly. The room deposit is a bit steep at $150, and the location is a bummer because of the railroad tracks. A lot of drifters come in there. Overall though this place PAYS. That is all that matters in my book.
We went to the buffet after laying our relative to rest; the staff was so kind, helpful, patient and the service was great. The food was delicious, my kids and other family enjoyed their dinner as well. Definitely will be going again when we're able to fully enjoy the service/food.
Comfortable, bright and felt safe. My only reason for 4 stars on the room was the shower. Very low pressure and not very hot. But otherwise it was great! Front desk staff couldn't have been more accommodating.
Smaller casino but right off a main road in Redding. Parking was open in the first row when we went in the later afternoon. Had no problems getting drinks at our machines. Left with winnings. Didn't stay in the resort part just played some slots. Very clean and noticable security at the front door made it feel safe, like had we won just a tad over what we did security would have walked us to the car. Had a lot of fun here.
Win River Casino is a massive property with plenty of space both inside and out. Parking is plentiful and easy, which makes visiting stress-free from the start. The casino floor itself is very large, with rows of slot machines and table games that keep it busy and lively. One thing I appreciated was the attention to cleanliness-hand sanitizer stations and masks were available throughout the property. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere felt welcoming. The connected hotel also makes it convenient for out-of-town guests, with clean and comfortable rooms just steps away from the gaming floor. That said, the smoke inside is definitely noticeable, which can be a drawback if you're sensitive to it. Like most casinos, the focus is heavily on slots and table games, so there isn't much beyond that in terms of entertainment variety. I was lucky enough to double my money while I was there, which made the visit more exciting, but I also realized casinos just aren't really my thing. Still, for anyone who enjoys gaming and wants a full-service experience with easy access, solid amenities, and helpful staff, Wind River delivers a good overall visit.
We were just passing through and needed a place to stay, and this turned out to be one of the best casino experiences I’ve ever had. My wife and I opted for the romance package, and it was absolutely worth it. The free play alone covered the cost, and we were treated to a bottle of wine and beautifully romantic room decorations. The food was excellent—highly recommend the calzone, which was more than enough for both of us. The bars were lively, and the bartenders made the experience even better with their friendly service. We also took advantage of the pool and hot tub, which added a relaxing touch to our stay.
I had the pleasure of staying here two different occasions in the same week. The rooms were always clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. They have a heated outdoor pool, hot tub and mini waterfall. Plenty of access areas (with your hotel key card) around pool. A walking trail behind as well. Lots of parking and handicap parking available. Hotel rooms were not a far walk from the casino side. The elevators worked great as well. I enjoyed myself at the casino. They had a good selection of games. The restaurant had good food and there was bars all around to get drinks quickly, no matter where you were playing. The staff very friendly and super helpful! The only complaint I have is that we didn’t get a pull out bed in requested rooms. Staff brought a roll out bed and extra comforters and pillows. It was just as comfy or better and fit perfectly. Thank you for making our stay great.
The hotel was pretty good, the only thing bad was the first floor smelled like cigarette smoke due to the casino being connected. The parking Lot was small at the hotel, and I had to walk pretty far with my bags. The desk attendant named "Bug", was very friendly.
Been coming here for many years and I love this place, but with how much money they have, every slot machine should have built in cup holders. It's the year 2026, do some upgrades please.
Nice casino and the rooms are OK, but the food is awful and if you’re gonna go outside at night, you need to be careful,it just has that feeling , and signs posted by the door telling you that they will walk you to your car. So if you have to stay in Redding It’s more entertaining than a regular hotel because of the casino but be sure to get something to eat somewhere else.
Loved the hotel room! The food at the restaurant was very good. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. The gym in the morning was well equipped with weights and a universal machine, however, the water dispenser was left empty (I was there first in the morning), and there were no sanitizing wipes or towels. Excellent outdoor pool. Lots of convenient parking. Strong smoking smell when you enter the lobby….if that matters to you. We are non-smokers and health conscious. We just traveled from the Ilani in Ridgecrest, Wa. That casino is smoke free. The difference entering the two is night and day
For the rate one pays my expectations would be extremely high. The room was not clean to my standards, thick dust across the top of the headboard. Clearly you can see that the carpet edges are not cleaned. Shower glass is not cleaned. Previous guest left a message that showed once there was steam and the shower head was clogged and not attached to the wall. If not for the staff we encountered on our short visit the rating would have been much lower!
Well some lady that worked at the bar to the left when u walked in was completely rude by all means I noticed the misery just by the way her energy was her vibes were icky but everything else was good
I went to their coffee shop for dinner on Thanksgiving, nothing to write home about. I didn't want turkey and they had a limited menu of pizzas and other fried foods. I got a burger, it was just okay. Service was fantastic though! Casino with smelly and Smokey.
The service was excellent! But the food was not! We got the two egg breakfast and the hash-browns were too crispy and greasy.
Major smoke !!!!!! You walk in that's all you smell!!! I WAS INSIDE A OLD BUILDING WERE EVERYTHING WAS NEVER CLEAN,WASH,VACUUM IT SMELL LIKE convalescent home were they never change the sheets or washed or wipe the floors or dust or clean it was just awful I won't go back the only thing that was good and a big plus was a customer service the girls were really nice in the front desk or the receptionist desk and the bartender was very nice other than that the atmosphere the stench the smoke major smoke never going back
The rooms desperately need to be updated! And cleaned much better than they are! Our room smells like urine! We recommend avoiding the restaurant! Absolutely disgusting food! They served us spoiled coleslaw!
Nice well kept casino floors and great parking access easy to get in and out of as far as location but for some reason staff are not friendly and they r not traveler friendly dew to not allowing me or my family member to have or travel backpack that Carrie our medication and medical supplies and or hygiene with us. When we approached the front desk we were greated with additude and rude unnecessary comments like well this isn't navada or Arizona so because I mentioned that we live in Arizona trip state and travel to Vegas and that we were unaware of the RULES of the casino and we are not trying to piss off anyone and apologize for the inconvenience of us being there. I have no intention on going back would rather travel to corning casino where we r greated with smile and appreciation for being guests
Super unhappy about the bait and switch. Reserved our room for a wedding nearby months in advance because there is a poker room with No Limit and Limit poker. Got here yesterday to a closed room and even worse, a room that has been "upgraded" to electronic tables. Nice choice management, don't you know that any casino that has done this (Excalibur, Folsom Lake Bowl, Jackson Rancheria, etc.) has no action or have either closed poker altogether or went back to live dealers. Rooms were ok, machines tight. Small casino. Never coming back.
Slot options were good and food is good. Wished they had more food options. Rooms were clean but no security. A random person followed us to our floor and turn back when they saw us go into our room. Very scary. A lot of homeless outside and inside the casino. Many people sitting on slot machines not playing or with 1 dollar in the machine so that they can stay inside the casino. I don't recommend going there alone.
No a big selection of games besides it being filled with slot machines everywhere. Well it was my 1st time there and I guess I expected more is all. It's small, so small, like how much fun can you have. My suggestion is, bring the party with you. Make the best of it I guess.
We were in the area for work, and stopped here to get a hotel room for the night. We were denied because we were told we couldn’t park our log truck in their parking lot. We were already parked out in the back 40, near no one. Also wasn’t allowed to park in the overnight RV parking area. So beware if you’re in a semi, you’re not allowed. Period. Not to gamble, not to stay in their hotel.
The Casino is getting a 1 star because the gambling has been absolutely HORRIBLE!! I went there tonight and it literally took $160-$450 to get into a bonus or free games. On one machine that another person put in $200, thats what he told me,then I put in another $250 a total of over $450, it NEVER went into the bonus!! That is RIDICULOUS!! It is extremely frustrating and expensive to gamble and try to have fun anymore!! Also most all the female servers walk quickly past and you cant catch them to get a soda!! Win River losen up your machine
Casino is absolutely the most greedy stingy casino is California. I’ve traveled up and down California for the past 20 years. I’ve played at a lot of casinos. This casino is absolutely the worst casino I’ve ever been too. It’s always empty. Games never win. GARBAGE GARBAGE GARBAGE
This is such a lame casino. Our room was not sanitary. The gaming floor is pretty small. We were there on New Years Eve along with every chain smoking tweaker in Nor Cal. Their drinks are way overpriced, and they dont offer free drinks while you are gambling. They also stop selling alcohol and confiscate all booze by 2am sharp, all pretty much military style. They said they are forced to abide by California alcohol laws, but federal rancherias make their own laws and must only observe federal laws, which is why they can even have casinos on tribal lands. Anyway the staff was mostly friendly, but we will not return.
We attended the Marine Corps 250th anniversary ball ordered the Tri Tip dinner. The meat was so tough I couldn’t even cut it. Very fatty. My husband had to take out his pocket knife to cut his. Our entire table, anyone who ordered trip tip had the same complaint. Terrible for enticing anyone to come to their restaurant!
Pulled into the casino parking lot late at night during a road trip, just looking to get a few hours of sleep in my Sprinter van before continuing on. I wasn’t camping—no hookups, no setup—just needed a safe, quiet place to rest. Shortly after arriving, security came by and told me I couldn’t "dry camp" and would need to pay for the RV lot, even though I wasn’t staying overnight in the traditional sense. I wasn’t allowed to rest at all without moving. I usually choose casinos for short stops like this and always give them business—grabbing food or playing the slots—but this one felt unwelcoming. The lot was half empty, so the lack of flexibility was disappointing.
Definitely an older location. Numerous "air purifiers" all over but it still smelled. Room had an obnoxious floral scent. Casino is full smoking. The Seasons restaurant was more like an employee hangout than a place to eat. Hard pass.
The security supervisor was extremely rude and told my boyfriend that he could not gamble because when he went to go get a new players card, they gave it to him. It was just fine but then after when he went to go play, they made him leave because a piece of the bottom of his ID has been broken off earlier today I didn’t have time to replace it and his birthday is Friday I work that day so we came tonight. Tonight was our only night and they made us leave. I had five dollars FreePlay so I wanted to go ahead and play it and he went to the car Will they followed him to the car and told him that he could not sit there and wait for me for five minutes and that they would call the cops on him. They were extremely rude. I feel discriminated against because we of the way we loo. I do not recommend ever going to wind River and purely based on your security. The lady at the play players club was a sweetheart, but the security supervisor was a complete egomaniac and rude as hell.
