Love gong cha always and nice staff
Let me just start off by saying not all locations know how to properly make these drinks !!! & with that being said I wanted to take the time out of my busy Saturday to say that I intentionally come to this location only & always because they're the only location that knows how to make my drinks so yummy !!! I always come with my entire family & get like 3-4 drinks, & the staff here is a awesome!!! They never miss or mess up a drink , it's always delicious & they're always done in a timely manner !! & especially this employee named Emily! You rock thank you for always being so sweet & kind and with us & always having a positive attitude & a smile on your face ! <3 This place will always have my money $$
Dirty Brown Sugar is one of the best you can get in the area. Decent amount of the sweet and bubbles just the right taste. Highly recommend it!
Love coming here post-Costco shopping! It's a nice little treat for the trip home. Absolutely love the Taro Milk Tea!
I must say, the service at this place is truly excellent and incredibly fast. Not only that, but their milk teas are refreshingly delicious, leaving me wanting more. And let me tell you, their taro milk tea is simply extraordinary, with a flavor that is undeniably delicious. I highly recommend giving it a try!
Great little bubble tea spot. I got the Taro milk tea with bubbles and coconut jelly. It was delicious, very satisfying. Definitely recommend for a quick drink while you walk around the city.
Since I live across the street from this, it's super easy and convenient for me to get bubble tea from here. The shop itself is very small. There are only a few seats since this place is more of a order to go place. The staff works very quickly to get your drinks made. Customers used to be able to earn points by giving their number to the cashier. They are currently working on a new system so they have reverted back to the card and stamps. The cards are laminated so the stamps rub off pretty easily. I have had to tape over it to make sure that it doesn't come off. I always get a regular milk tea with tapioca and every time I have ordered it, it taste the same. No complaints about their tea. This is always a great place to go to get bubble tea since it's in a convenient location. I think it's one of the only bubble tea spots in this neighborhood since there aren't too many Asian cafes around.
The green tea shake with tapioca balls (which they confusingly call bubbles... as if this were a jacuzzi) was delicious. Not too sugary, as is sometimes the case. There is ample seating nearby provided by Rego Center's mall, next to the parking lot's entrance and the escalators. Gong Cha is the best stop for refreshments on Rego Center's ground floor, since that floor's other establishments are mostly retail big-boxers. The mall's public bathrooms are within easy reach.
The best bubble tea chain in my opinion. Bought the frozen Teaffogato Mango Matcha (forgot to take the actual pic) with 30 percent sugar at this one and they made it picture perfect! Just like the pic, the drink really comes in several layers. Mango at the bottom, milk (I think) in the middle and matcha at the top.
Good flavorful bubbles that are still better than most when old but amazing when fresh. Also the lychee tea is sweeter than most places so I get it with 30% sugar. Glad to have this in the neighborhood.
Fast service and it tastes great but they didn’t add pearls to my Passionfruit Green Tea but they still charged me for it. A small mistake but everything else is really good. Recommend!
Staff are very quick and friendly. Just have to remind them constantly to use your member points. You get great deals when they add up! Space is a bit tight and gets crowded quickly so be prepared!
I ordered a drink and had to wait 20 ridiculous minutes for that. For places like this 5 minutes is already considered as very slow. The taro milk tea drink I ordered taste like water. I'm guessing that's because I chose the light ice option so they diluted the drink to keep the cost down -------- Update --- the service and quality does improve in my last few visits.. I'm changing it to four stars..
Gong Cha is not our top option when we are craving for bubble tea. However, it’s the only choice when we shop in Rego Center so we gave it a try. The decor is humble and the staff was cool & reluctant. We had their Jasmine Milk Tea with free topping, a promotion from checking in on Yelp. We also requested our drink to be customized to 30% sugar & less ice. The drink was still super sweet and the bubble was cooked too soft in our opinions.
I’m writing this review here because I couldn’t find the link to leave a review for the store at Queen Center Mall. I arrived at the shop today, July 29 at 11:05 AM. the store was supposed to open at 11:30 AM. I waited patiently for 25 minutes. At 11:32 AM, I walked up thinking the store might be open, but the staff member was still putting cash into the box. When I said “hi,” I was completely ignored. I assumed he was busy opening the store, so I stepped away to other store for a bit. I came back around 11:45 AM. At that time, he was making the drink for another customer, so I waited in front of the cashier counter, clearly ready to place my order. But I was still being ignored—not just me, but also other customers. One woman even stood directly near him and politely said “Excuse me,” loud and clear—but she was completely ignored too. I got really frustrated and ended up leaving without ordering. I have things to do, but I waited over 40 minutes just to place one drink order. I didn’t get angry because the store opened late—I understand things can get busy. What really piss me off was being completely ignored as a customer. I feel like almost an hour of my time was wasted—an hour I could’ve spent getting things done. I will never come back to any of Gong Cha for being poor management and not training well with customer service.
People who work there are not polite and don't apologize for their mistakes. The lady who makes drinks literally put her hand inside the cup to remove ice I didn't ask for. It's so disgusting. I couldn't consume my drink because of what I saw.
