Went here today for lunch. Ordered the biggie bag meal with the junior bacon cheeseburger with nuggets and fries, a chicken sandwich, a junior cheeseburger, fries and their strawberry lemonade. I also got two frostys. They had the strawberry ones at this location. The food was excellent, the employees were great and the service was very excellent. Will be coming back again soon. Thank you 😊.

I went there today and while I did have a slight hiccup with my order in the drive through. It was very busy so I went inside. Upon entering I noticed there was a woman working might be a manager she wore a different shirt so I am assuming. She dropped what she was doing and greeted me right away. She was the only woman who appeared to be on shift at the time. Her disposition was excellent she smiled with her eyes. She handled herself like a champion. Furthermore she didn't yell at the staff she didn't miss a beat and she didn't interrupt the flow of the drive through. She went and made my sandwich correctly and quickly. Which frankly was shocking this isn't how I see fast food joints work very often. So I was pleasantly surprised to see such a grace in this kind of place. She should be rewarded her attitude and ability shines through her work. She's definitely being under utilized in this location (personal oppinons) she should be training all staff. She did something I don't see many people do, and that's restoring order in during chaos. She's a real problem solver and champion. Let me be clear I don't know her or even know her name but I read people. Her actions stated just this, " I care about serving people food that they will enjoy I take my time and do it right". It's amazing how much actions can speak louder than words. It's possible she owned the location, If she didn't I wouldn't have been able to tell what a real boss.

Honestly these people are amazing working here they are understaffed and trying their best and working hard to get all the customers moving. Great people working here still enthusiastic about their job and keeping it all moving. So even though the wait a bit they do their best and it's all appreciated. Don't get mad at them for doing what they can as best as they can.

Great drivethru near Albany (Troy). Didn’t come up on Google maps for a hot sec but found it by chance on our way up to Vermont. Fries, burgers and chicken sandwich all came out fresh!

Not sure what happened to my first review but: Nice brand new restaurant The speakers work you can actually communicate. Food was done to my order and tasted good. Border taker and filler were very polite. Plus if you want to eat in the parking lot you get some pretty nice scenic views.

This is a good Wendy's location. The food is always good and ready on time. The staff are friendly. One minor issue is there is a really bad draft at the booths near the trash area—it literally blows my napkins around.

Edit: It's been a couple years since I left the negative review below. I took some time off from visiting them, but this location is convenient to where I live, work, and shop so after some time I gave them another go. The location has improved tremendously since my initial review. I've grabbed takeout here twice in the past week, and both times the staff were excellent, the food was made quickly, and the orders were accurate including customizations. Tonight, one of my containers of chili was leaking so I asked for a plastic bag to put it in, but the young lady helping me insisted on repackaging it because she said she didn't want me to lose all my chili. I appreciated her extra effort. Kudos to the current staff, you guys are doing a great job! Original review: I didn't think it could get worse than the Wendy's in East Greenbush, but then this one opened up and they seem determined to win the award for ineptitude amongst the Capital Region Wendy's locations. Incredibly rude and incompetent staff. The new Wendy's is on my way home, but I'll go out of my way to go to the Wendy's at HVCC. I've rarely had issue at that location.

Good food fresh too. friendly staff! Only thing I could say is that the person on the counter should wash their hands before putting food on the trays for customers or wear and change gloves! Especially if they have been cleaning at all. As of 1/28/22 they still handle the food containers without gloves this should be corrected.

I don't expect.much for fast food, but I hate "That it?" After everything I say in an order. Also if I ask for no onions... and you confirm I said no onions... please make sure they're not on the burger. Otherwise the food was good.

Always fast, polite and the food is good. I know this location had some trouble when it first opened, but they seem to have fixed their issues because this Wendy's is really good. I never have to worry about the order getting messed up or that the food will be old and gross because they do such a good job. Even when there is a line, they are able to get you through in a reasonable amount of time.

Thought I would try something new, so I got a single cheeseburger combo at Wendy's. There was only one other customer, so not overly busy at 11:32 a.m. The fries were warm, but not hot. The burger was good. I couldn't get the chili, which is what I normally get from Wendy's because to quote the young man who took my order, "there's something wrong with it. I don't want you to get sick on it." When I drove up to the window to pay I asked for my receipt (for my Fetch app) and was told someone would have to go to another place in the restaurant to retrieve it. I thought that was odd. All in all, the food was ok and the service was acceptable.

We came in for lunch. The cashier must have been very new. She was not able to honor the next customer's coupon and so the guy who was manager and on burgers was wrapped up in helping her. The wait was so long the 2nd customer after me who was behind the people with the coupon asked for a baked potato instead of fries when the cashier looked like she'd need to get the manager again he was like nevermind please l'll take the fries. We received our food after maybe 15 mins...that's a long time for fast food. The soda machine was only supplying flat soda. Lunch was kinda a bust.

When you are buying a few items like 6 different things, please use 2 bags instead of shoving it all in 1 bag! Otherwise the food is very good. Update: the service hasn't been good lately. When ordering a 10 piece chicken nuggets, you only get 9 pieces! This has been happening for months now, very disappointing.

Overcharged because the drivethrough messed up my order and didnt know how to fix it. Spent almost 30 dollars for 1 meal and 4 jr burgers. Got home and the order still wasn't right. Everytime i come here they mess something up.

Poor service, they usually forget at least one item. Half the time they are out of something or ask you to wait 5-10 minutes for something to be cooked. Conveniently they can’t give you a receipt for the last two months. Definitely could be better managed

Ordered 2 6pc French toast sticks. Was informed there would be a wait for French toast, no problem I’m fine with waiting. However, after the wait they handed me a bag full of all burnt French toast. This is where honesty comes to play… just say you burnt them before making me drive off! I would have waited for fresh ones again. AND this was the manager handing me burnt to a crisp food. Two starts because there was no issue with giving me a refund.

I haven't been back here since the last time I visited several months ago due to what occurred. They made my order wrong (asked for no mayo and ended up with a burger with ONLY mayo), so I went inside to have it remade. The woman behind the counter, who I assume was a manager, went on a racist tirade about how they hire too many Mexican employees who don't know how to speak English and that they can never understand how to do anything right because of their nationality. It was shocking to see someone treat their employees like that and belittle them in front of a restaurant full of patrons, and because of that, I will never be returning.

Order was incorrect and I came to get a replacement meal and instead was greeted with an attitude from one of the managers I believe her name started with a M she was very distasteful as if I was a bother to her I understand it was 30 mins to closing but the attitude was uncalled for this has been my 2nd time getting messed up food from this establishment but the first time being treated like a pest I am truly dissatisfied and disappointed in the managements action being as they’re supposed to lead by example I will no longer come here because if I would have reacted it would have been an even bigger issue truly disgusting needs better staffing !

Even though they do have a couple of value deals, you can't get a cheap Burger for a kid or a pet. And some of the prices on their burgers and meals are way out of line for the income of a lot of people in the area.

Went there last night ordered a six dollar biggy bag with a bacon double stack all i asked for was lettuce and mayo added onto it as well as the other stuff that comes on it instead i get just mayo and lettuce not even any bacon, i was near there agin tonight so i decided to go again i ordered the same thing and it was all right besides its chicken instead of beef and half the people there don’t speak english on top of it

The manager Christina talks to her coworkers like they are her children and on top of it she was screaming at a pregnant coworker that was dealing with the cashier in front of customers which is very unethical and makes the Business place very hard work at and for customers to visit and enjoy The atmosphere….. if my manager spoke to me like that I would walk off and quit right away….. i’m pretty sure she went through training and was thought the correct way to deal with situations like this because people make mistakes and people are human so Wendy’s please deal with this because I’m a very unhappy customer and the way I view it she has a nasty demeanor and her behavior is viewed as atrocious for a worksite.

Now got rid of 2 for 5......Always missing items.. visited 4 times now. Got a half Taco Salad, all of the add-ons were in a reused bag with cold old stale fries inside covered in grease and other remnantsof other food inside. Did you use someone else's bag to put my taco salad add-ons in? Burger was cold, dry, a leather boot would have been easier to eat but hey! Its fast food you get what you pay for! Younger girl at window and the im guessing 18yr old Manager were super super irritated and unfriendly, terrible way to run a business Regardless being Wendy's or not.. I was a 16yr old kid at McDonald's at one point too, it seems more a personal attitude then them being upset they cant do their job. Also no Chili at 1600? Your open for breakfast now... what?

Gross!!! I ordered the bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I was told to pull ahead and wait by the door for the food. When it was finally brought out, I opened the sandwich to find it covered in green mold. How did no one notice that the entire bun was covered in mold while preparing the sandwich? This place is a joke.

We hit the newest Wendy's off 88. Near the new 7 eleven. I do not recommend. They only had two people working, running the lobby and drive thru, if they had more staff, I'd go again. We waited too long for our food for it to be considered fast. Just saying. But I do understand most places have off days, so...I'd check to see if more than 2 people are working, then try again.

Slow, slow, SLOW. Took 40 minutes to get 1 biggy bag Jr cheeseburger and 1 biggest bag chicken sandwich. And I had to use the kiosk. Only 3 orders on screen in front of me too. Possibly 8 cars in drive in. Still 40 minutes to get it.

The young woman that took our order was rude. Not helpful at all. I asked for ketchup packets and I was told they didn't have any. After a conversation about that, I finally was given a souffle cup of ketchup to share between 3 people. It gets better.. when I opened the bag I found a grilled chicken sandwich when I ordered a burger. My Granddaughter took it to the counter and asked for it to be repaced with a burger. The counter girl was very unhappy and started to argue about it. Finally she gave a burger to my Granddaughter. This was my 1st visit.. BUT IT'S ALSO MY LAST!!! Francine K.

This Wendy’s store is by far residing at the bottom of the barrel. Food is a mess, french fries are rubbery and the service, Oh my God, is horrible. Just about every car in the drive-through gets pulled aside and has to wait for their food to be brought out to them. Clearly this establishment does not have any effective management.

Waited in line to get our food. The girl at the window was too busy listen to her ear buds than dealing with our order. Pull away because of the line behind us. Yep the order was wrong! The lobby was closed for take out only. Yep locked. Waited in line again behind 4 cars and slow as hell. This is the 2 time the service sucked.

Lady behind the counter with long eyelashes is very rude! She looked me dead in the eye whispered something about me to a manager like i couldnt hear her then loudly stated "im not one to discriminate or disrespect" then proceeded to take my order with a severe attitude for no reason! She did not have a name tag on or else i would provide a name. I rarely complete reviews unless ive either had extremely great service or horrid service...this is a horrid service situation...

At 9pm, we waited in front of the drive thru to order for 10 minutes. There was no one behind us. We pulled around, and there was only one car ahead of us waiting by the curb. We got out, and started walking toward the door to order inside. A female employee ran to the door, locked it, scowled at us, and signaled for us to go back through the drive through. We tried to tell her we were already at the drive thru, but she just blinked at us and then walked away. Disgusted, we just left and went to Popeyes, because they have better chicken sandwiches anyway.

Used drive thru, workers were rude while taking the order, got it wrong, cut us off before we finished ordering and couldn’t correct them, then argued about the order when we got to the window, so we left and went elsewhere. Definitely won’t be back.

Wendy's does not carry mustard? This is the second Wendy's that I have gone to in the past year where I was told this.... So once again I did not get a burger. I don't understand why they as a burger place don't have mustard its ridiculous 🙄

We arrived at the location at 6:45 PM. to find the dining area closed. The person that was taking our order didn't seem to understand English. Our order was totally messed up. I was very disappointed with the whole experience.

Today was the 3rd time that I have visited this location on my way to work at almost 8am and it was not yet open. The hours listed for this Wendys start at 7am and they just do not open when they are supposed to. Today I sat at the speaker waiting for 5 minutes before I pulled up to the window and found no one. I called and a woman answered and stated that she is the only one there so they would be opening late today. How about a sign or something letting the customers know so they do not sit there waiting!!! Unacceptable!

Multiple times they've locked the dining room door in the middle of the day, with people in the dining room. Including today at 14:20. I have oversized vehicle, so I can't go through the drive thru

No other fast food place has a drive through line that’s over 30 minutes long. And it’s every time!!! Is there any management here at all? How could you let your crew slack so bad? And the awnings above he windows… are they meant to get you soaked? They’re the perfect angle to drip right into your car. Either remove them, or angle them correctly. Never coming back again. That wait is absurd.

This has to be the work wendys in existence, 45 minutes to get a biggy bag after ordering. Line of cars across the parking lot of people waiting on food after paying. My blind grandmother in a wheel chair could take orders cook and deliver food to customers faster by her self. Would not recommend.

Ordered fries with no salt. I asked of there was any salt on fries because they were already at the window when i pulled up. The cashier sean assured me there wasn't any salt. When i looked i bag the fries were covered in salt. I came inside and asked for a receipt so i could come back and get a new order due to me running late for work. The manager gave me a receipt with nothing on it. Then refused to give me her name stating it’s not a big deal. The service was disgusting and disgraceful.

So first off, the service was on point!!! The man working the window has THE best energy I’ve seen yet anywhere! He was just so upbeat, friendly and took time to chat which was nice! I did complain about the other local Wendy’s about how my order is always wrong so I never go there anymore. Honestly I stopped going to any Wendy’s for that reason. But I was hungry tonight so figured I’d go to the newer location. Simple order, 2 biggie bags and 10pc nugget. I asked to PLEASE make sure there’s no onion or pickle on the burgers. One burger was perfect the other had both onions and pickles. Not to mention for 18 chicken nuggets I only got one sauce and it was the wrong one. I’m good on Wendy’s altogether and will not be a customer any more. No matter which location I go to it’s always wrong. I figured I didn’t have to check the bag this time because he was so on point with everything else. Very very disappointing!!!! But I do wish that young man all the best and hope he makes it far in his career life! The newer location is North Greenbush NY. The older store I stopped going to awhile ago is the East Greenbush NY location. Just for reference.

Slowest. Wendy’s. Ever. They have two windows: first never open. Screen is broken. Payment system are broken. 25+ mins with 4 cars in front of me at drive in for one burger Could have gone to sit down and eat somewhere by the time you get your food here

We love Wendy’s lemonade and we just went there tonight, expecting greatness, and we waited at the window for 30 minutes and we ordered 2 large strawberry lemonades, only to be greeted with cups that look like they are full of bath water. They do not live up to our hopes and dreams. Extremely disappointed.

Drive thru slow. Went inside, no human assistance. Only kiosks to order on your own. No options for cheese sauce side on the kiosk. And when I went to pay NO TAP OPTION. They only take physical cards. It's 2025, get tap to pay, not everyone has a physical card or brought it with them. Will never go back.

Can’t leave a review of how my meal was because I couldn’t order a meal! I was the only person in check out line inside this facility at 905 pm,, none of the employees ( who were speaking Spanish ) would even acknowledge me. I waited 6 minutes until I finally had enough and left. I did ask at one point to place my order and one of the employees looked at me like I had 9 heads and responded something back in Spanish. Do better Wendy’s this is America perhaps hire employees who speak English!!

This was one of the worst drive-thru experiences I’ve ever had. We stopped here while traveling, expecting a quick and easy stop, but instead we were left frustrated and disappointed. The staff member taking our order clearly didn’t understand what we were asking, and kept putting us on hold, repeating the same questions over and over. All we asked was about the kids’ meal toy (last week it was Mr. Potato Head), but instead of answering, she made the entire process drag out, holding up the line. After waiting far too long, we gave up on ordering the kids’ meal and just went with chicken nuggets, but even that had to be repeated several times. When we finally got our order, it was still wrong. We received the wrong drink, and a baked potato we ordered wasn’t included at all. At that point, after all the waiting and confusion, it just wasn’t worth staying any longer. This was completely unacceptable service. If Wendy’s wants customers to keep coming back—especially families traveling on the road—they need to improve their staff training and accuracy. This experience was nothing but stressful and disappointing.

The lady doing drive through on 3/24/24 around 1pm is very very un professional! I pull up to where your order is taking and I was rushed on telling them my order while I wanted to look at the menu, then I said the wrong sandwich because I was rushed and she said “they already made it” then I pull up to the window and she is cussing and talking about another employee because she didn’t do something right. Mind you my child is in the car with the windows open heat all of this. Then the young man came out to hand me my food I waited for didn’t say anything to me just was rubbing my bag against my window. I worked in customer service for years never have a seen this in my life! I really hope you nip this in the butt because it’s the business that’s missing out.

I hate writing reviews but this has been pissing me off lately every time I order for saucy nuggs, I always ask for extra sauce because they barely put any sauce on it, and the manager Chris always does that for me no matter what. But the past few times the guy at the front register, I don’t know his name but he never listens and just now said that you have to charge for extra sauce which has never happened.

Went there to purchase a medium frosty. When I was told the total price (including tax), it was over a dollar more than it should be. (Tax is still only 7%-8% depending on the county). I mentioned this at the window and the snotty girl at the window tried to tell me that it was $3.49 for the small, when their drive thru menu board clearly states $3.49 FOR THE MEDIUM! - They need to train their employees on the proper prices and on CUSTOMER SERVICE - MINUS THE ATTITUDE!

Not even gonna lie. I waited an hour for the food, but there were a lot of people there so I expected it to take a bit longer, but what ended up happening is that they literally lost our order completely, which we found out about only after we went up and asked about it. Multiple people around continued to complain about the service. We had to re-order and made sure my friend did not loose his money because he was the one who had a card. Even when we received our meal after the hour and a half, we came to the inconvenience of the fries being unavailable, even after they payed fully for. We ended up getting something completely different and instead of arguing, since we’d been there for almost an hour and a half by that point, we left as soon as possible. People continued to complain about their separate inconveniences on our way out involving incomplete orders or/and incorrect orders and the time they took to prepare.

Mauro was in charge of the drive up window around 8:30pm on 2/17/25 and should be fired. My boyfriend ordered and mentioned using a coupon for buying a baconator and receiving a second for $1. Pull up to the window and provide payment and coupon. Mauro tried to pull a fast one and rang us up for 1 son of a baconator after stumbling over the coupon. I have no idea what the disconnect was but Mauro proceeded to charge us for a second son of baconator and gave such sass to my boyfriend who was trying to clarify that the coupon is for 2 baconators and not to charge us for 2 sons of baconators. Mauro was looking for confrontation. Which pissed my boyfriend off. Needless to say we paid for 2 sons of baconators and left but will NEVER be returning to this location ever again. Mauro clearly needs to find a new job.

I ordered the food ahead of time. I was planning on eating in with my son. They can’t serve drinks because of local water advisory. They offered milk or water. My son said no thanks. I ask for my money back for the drink. They say you have to go through the app. I call the customer service and it takes 15 mins. I’ll receive the refund in 7 to 14 business days lol. While I’m on the phone they don’t give us our food. They thought we canceled the entire order. We get rude responses back. They give us the order in a bag when I said I wanted to eat there. No plastic silverware for the burgers without buns. No napkins. No napkins or plastic silverware at counter. I ask and they reluctantly gave me some. The one employee was clearly high as kite. You need to do better Wendy’s.

If I could rate 0 I would. Ordered online because I can’t leave the house (covid) and not sure what I received. Looks like a couple hockey pucks on buns. The patties on the burgers I got were burnt looking, and hard. The food also arrived cold.

I pulled up to the drive through at 11:25. No one answered to take the order, until I called at 11:41 and said “hey, you have a few people waiting in the drive through.”. Then proceeded to get attitude from the worker taking the order. I pulled up to the window and the lady didn’t say a word, just stuck her hand out for the card. While she was swiping my card lady number 2 said “another car just queued in the drive through” to which a 3rd lady replied “why does this always happen right before we close, god I hate people”. I wanted to say maybe if you had answered 20 mins ago when we pulled up you wouldn’t be swamped right before close(but I didn’t). I ordered 2 sandwiches, 1 baconator fries, and 1 drink, and I sat at that window for 15 minutes. The only upside to the food, was this is the first time in a few years Wendy’s has given me food that was actually warm, but then my hopes for this place had diminished again when I received the baconator fries wrapped in cling wrap and squished at the bottom of the bag.
