Tino's Greek Cafe Research Blvd Reviews
It has been years since I have eaten at Tino's and it was just as great as I remember. The food was fresh and delicious, the prices were stellar, and service was amazing.
Food is always delicious and fresh. My go to for anytime I need fast food, but want something a little healthier. Also a great value for quality and amount of food you get.
Recently refurbished restaurant. Food is fresh, diverse, and well balanced. Recommend all of it but especially gyros and lemon chicken soup. Friendly and hospitable staff.
This is my favorite Greek/Mediterranean restaurant to eat at in Austin, TX. This location is the original! And, they are the best at what they do. You can not beat the flavors, the prices, or the amount of different items they add to their plates! I love you guys and as long as you are here you shall have my businesses!
Tino's is delicious and wonderful Greek food. I can't get enough, honestly. I'd get lunch here every day if I could. Fantastic stuff.
This is such a good place to eat!! They have traditional options as well as kid-friendly options. I highly recommend trying them out.
Tino's Greek Cafe is in my top 5 favorite Austin eats. I've been enjoying their food for over half of my life. Best falafel wraps I've ever had. Best lentil soup. Best Spanakopita. Best Tzatziki sauce. I moved away from them but will always go out of my way to enjoy their food since other Greek restaurants only let me down. Their prices are more reasonable than the others as well and I hope they're able to keep it that way.
Delicious food and you get a ton of food for the money. Definitely recommend. 3 stars for the overwhelming smell of Fabulous in the restaurant. We had to move outside because of it. I appreciate a clean restaurant but chemical cleaner smells do not make a positive dining experience. There are lots of great cleaning products that either don't produce smells or have a light, pleasant smell.
Tino’s Greek Cafe is my go-to spot for a quick and delicious lunch! I absolutely love their gyro salad — it’s always so fresh and flavorful. The ingredients taste clean and the portions are just right and you can’t beat the price. The staff is amazing — friendly, fast, and they even know my order by now! It makes my lunch breaks so easy and enjoyable. I’m always greeted with a smile and leave feeling happy and satisfied. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and tasty meal!
Tino’s is a fun little café style Greek restaurant. Feels very authentic and the food is delicious. I like the menu, it was easy to navigate for the first time. The food is being cooked right in front of you, which is nice. The portions were generous and tasty! They nailed it on the tzatziki ! The weather was nice so we ate outside. A pleasant lunch!
Excellent service, everyone from the nice young lady to the cooks! All excellent food, the lamb/beef gyro; falafel disc; the soft, warm, fluffy pita bread; the tabouli; the baba ganoush; the hummus; the feta salad with garlicy dressing, delicious olives, large wedge of tomato, thick peeled cucumber slice, oh my! Even the bite of spanakopita was so good, I will get it next time. Don't forget the baklava!
My family has been going to this place for years! We absolutely love their honey that they serve with their pita bread. The costumer service is great! In general i’m personally not a fan of gyro in but my family members love it! My go to it’s the chicken salad. There rice is yummy as well.
The food is excellent and the service is too. Unfortunately, the owner is always hovering over the staff, inspecting everything and sticking his nose into the dishes they serve. That bothers me quite a bit. I don't know if I'll be returning to this place.
The foodis great and have at her for so many years, but when I asked questions on an order, I wasn’t given the complete information and was treated like I was a bother so I didn’t end up getting what I could’ve gotten I, after I asked more question at the register she explained to me what I could’ve got as sides, etc. but it was too late at that point I didn’t want to make either of them redo it. I would appreciate not being made to feel like a bother when I’m spending my money. Other than that like I said always A+ food.
We went here yesterday for lunch and the food was spoiled. Something was definitely off and everything was a tad sour. My husband and I were up all night with food poisoning. This place is a huge health concern. DO NOT EAT HERE! Unless you want the food coming out both ends and full body aches. I’m just now seeing some of the reviews about flies in the food and man I’m kicking myself for not checking ahead of time. Absolutely disgusting.
Do not order from there. There was a huge dead horse fly buried in my salad. I'm so glad I was paying attention - I almost mistook it for an olive. This is hazardous food safety. UPDATE: The owner just called me and yelled at me for my negative review. I explained that I don't need a refund. It's not about the $15 refund. It is only about the concern of food safety, and I do not want any of his future customers experiencing food safety issues, that he as the owner, should be aware of this issue. He then told me that when the food leaves his restaurant, it is perfect and no flies. But when doordash driver picks it up and looks in the boxes, they put the fly in. In what world? He denied accountability, which is a pretty scary thing as a restaurant owner. Stay away.
