I was meeting a friend for coffee here and it was my first time coming. Overall the service was friendly, it was very clean inside, very aesthetic, pleasant tunes and the coffee was delicious. I had the blondie and we split a banana nut muffin. I came back the next dat before work at 8:30am and ordered through the drive through, the gentleman who attended me was very friendly and I enjoyed the interaction I had with him. Not only that but my iced coffee came out very fast and per usual, delicous. Overall, I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

So glad Black Rock moved into my area. Great alternative to the big chain coffee store. Excellent coffee and pastries. I really like the Mexican Mocha! 6/15/24 Brought my 90 year old Dad in for his favorite Cream Cheese Danish. Disappointed to find Black Rock has switched vendors and did away with all their great food items. We tried a couple new items and were disappointed. Another couple came in and left because their favorite items are gone too. I'll still come for coffee, but if I want something to eat I will go someplace else. There are so many options in the area now. Please switch back to your previous vendor!!!

Great coffee spot right off Harlem. Quick and good. Everyone was very nice. I had the Mexican Mocha. I highly recommend.

Update: went by today and got an Irish cream and sooooo good omg!!! Saw this place open on Facebook and I was so curious to try it! I got the caramel truffle - iced. It’s really good, sweet. They didn’t put too much ice for it being an iced drink. Place is kinda loud. It’s also an aesthetically pleasing piece. Would love to come here to read for a bit or to work. Didn’t have enough time to sit and take it all in but will be back. They also have a drive thru!

I believe this is a hidden jewel coffee bar! I’ve been twice so far and I can’t wait to try it again. My second visit I got a iced blackout mocha (pictured); first time I got the iced Mexican mocha and both drinks exceeded my expectations!! The staff is attentive and friendly and the environment is great if you need a space (and plug) to get some work done. Just be aware that they have background music going and it is loud enough to overpower my AirPods lol

Please bring Black Rock to Rosenberg! The coffee is always fresh and delicious, love the seasonal flavors (peppermint bark latte highly recommended) and the staff is always friendly and upbeat. Average prices and great variety!

I like this comfortable place. Their coffee is good. Restrooms are clean. There are power outlets under most tables. The only negative thing is its a bit cold inside. I guess they force people not to stay too long by lowering the temperature.

Great place to work throughout the day; ample space. For drinks? There's often a special and special discount for students and staff on certain days. There's soft background music and relatively quiet to work (don't expect library-silence). Might be able to listen to / take calls.

saw this new coffee place near me and thought I’d give it a try. There’s a lot of different coffee shops popping up over the area, and I love the fact that they keep their menu very simple. I asked the cashier to give me the most popular item and that’s what I ended up getting. It’s very delicious and not too bad on pricing would definitely come back.

The Blackout (hazelnut mocha) was great, and they give you a bigger cup for an iced coffee to ensure that you are getting all of your coffee. Much better than the other coffee chains!! 10 out of 10!!

I will be moving back to Ohio I will miss black rock coffee I wish I can bring it to Ohio but can’t afford to franchise. I love their ice shaken and the warm Atmosphere . I will definitely miss!

Egg burrito was so yummy, it comes with this green chili sauce in it that made it enjoyable. I didn’t even use the salsa I got on the side. The seasonal iced French toast latte with oat milk was really good too. It’s on the sweeter side if you like that.

I ordered a simple hot chocolate that tasted like straight milk with a hint of cocoa. This place is not for people who want to study or get work done. No free WiFi. Need to use your own mobile hotspot. The noise from the staff screaming at each other's jokes and yelling obscenities was so embarrassing when I was on a Zoom with a student. Had to opt to sit outside in the cold to finish up my meeting. I'm happy to see a young staff enjoying their jobs but this was ridiculous. If I come back here, it will only be drive thru.

I usually get handed the iPad to give a tip (optional) and then sign but I didn’t that day because she didn’t hand it to me (which again, I didn’t think anything of it) little miss window girl took it upon herself to give herself a tip on my card and thought I wouldn’t notice… I hope she enjoys those $2‼️

I ordered a black coffee and it came like warm. Pretty bad. However, possibly the best coffee option in the area. Most options are sweet drinks. They only have one black coffee and it was a blend.

I was here Sunday afternoon around 12:40 PM on November 2nd. I went inside to order. There was an employee behind the counter wearing extremely short shorts. At first look you couldn't tell she was wearing shorts at all. Her shirt just barely covered her rear. The entire time my order was being taken I still couldn't see her shorts, just some of her shirt and her rear end. I was glad my husband was waiting in the car. The service was great as usual and the employees nice but please consider enforcing some kind of dress code.
