This is the spot to head to if you want a good Philly! Now I haven’t tried the other main items on the menu, but this Philly is exactly what I wanted. Properly seasoned meat, sweet and savory caramelized onions, mushrooms, bell pepper, touch of jalapeño, provolone. The sandwich is just perfectly balanced and exactly what this neighborhood was missing! I got the extra meat for $3 more which nicely packed out the sandwich in the manner I would expect of a Philly. Side of crispy, wavy fries, perfectly seasoned fries and an unsweetened iced tea. I’m happier than a guy missing Philly who woke up to find himself in Philly. I had shied away from the address ever since they closed down the Hacienda Grill. This I now sorely regret. Between the excellent food and the friendly staff, if this isn’t on your radar yet, get it on there! This is not to be missed. Just don’t forget to ask for the extra meat 👍🏾🙌🏾 — update Revisited today for another proper Philly and to check out their onion ring action. Yes! Real onion (not like that BK onion paste sadness)

Extremely friendly people! I got two toddlers who are picky AF and loud as Hell and everyone was kind and acknowledged them and we all really felt welcome. Because of that it was positive experience and I'm glad to stop here after their bike ride. Food is decent not great but the kids were happy.

Was going to go to McDonald’s but decided to give the new local place a try and I’m happy I did. I got the bacon burger it taste way fresher than McDonald’s & curly fries were good too. I think the bacon could have been crispier but it was still good flavor. Also wish you had a burger with thousand island sauce.lol Can’t wait to try the garlic fries!

For a Drive Thru in the outskirts of Richmond I was stunned by the size of the fries and the Jalapeño on the chopped meat sandwich was spot hitting! The lady was nice and it was much better quality than you would expect from a drive thru!

When I got there, the place was very clean and homey. The staff was also very nice and friendly. The person at the register treats you like an old friend you haven't seen in a long time. I got a double cheeseburger combo along with some cheese sticks and it was amazing. The seasoning on the cheese sticks was delicious and the burger was juicy. Very fair price too.

We stopped here while on a trip from Nebraska. We had been in the car all day and we were starving and looking for a place to eat. We stopped here and it was so freaking good! Handmade and large portions. It definitely hit the spot and Ali, our server, was so polite and patient. He was professional and super friendly. Great place to eat!!

Came in while waiting for a friend. Food was phenomenal for the price. Fresh and delicious. Fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Burger was perfectly cooked, not dry at all. Service was friendly and prompt. Will definitely be back!

Really enjoyed the cheesteak and mozzarella sticks. Server was really friendly. Only think I didnt love was the strawberry lemonade, def just tasted like minute maid with some strawberry syrup, was more expecting fresh lemonade way it was pictured, but everything else was great

This place was pretty good as far as some of these restaurants go in San Francisco area. The food's kind of high quality for the type of restaurant and the service is great. The hamburgers are a little bit small which I didn't really like. But overall it's better than most of the crap you get around that area.

This has become one of my favorite "go-to" spots in Richmond! The staff are ALWAYS welcoming. The restaurant is always clean. The food is CONSISTENTLY FRESH, delicious...AND affordable! My fav on the menu is the Philly CheeseSteak!!! But don't sleep on the burgers or the chicken tenders!

I got the chopped cheese and it was delicious. The hoagie roll was griddled on the inside but the outside remained soft, so the bite is really lovely. Marty’s uses fresh beef and you can tell- I really enjoyed this sandwich and felt it was a generous size for a decent price. It isn’t the most beautiful sandwich, but it’s so tasty that’s not what you’ll remember. The crinkle cut fries are also quite satisfying and salted well. I’ll definitely be returning for these two items but also to try more of the menu items. Note that they have some burgers and combos beginning at $5 and that sort of wallet friendly pricing is alluring. I imagine Kaiser employees are fans. Inside is scrupulously clean! I’ve become a real fan of this little gem in downtown Richmond. 6/15/25 Another immaculate chopped cheese delivered. The sandwich is prepped so that it doesn’t at all fall apart and they have a lock on bun prep! It tastes like it was just made. The sandwich is the perfect size, (cut on the diagonal) for a late afternoon snack for two with medium fries.

It took ~9 minutes for four people in front of me and then me to place an order, and then I waited a further ~16 minutes for my food to come out. And they forgot my french fries, which I only realized upon getting home. Yes, my fault for not checking the order before I left. The food itself was pretty good though: The crispy chicken sandwich was tasty with the slaw and pickle, although I wish the chicken was a bit larger to fill out the bun. The sweet king sandwich was delectable, with perhaps just a tad more mayo than I'd prefer. And the potato wedges were hot and fresh and well-seasoned. Pricing was completely fair and everyone was super friendly and with a good attitude! Despite the small issues, I'll definitely be back to try more items off the menu and support a local small business. I look forward to updating this review to 5 stars in the future!

Cheesesteak wasnt great. Service was very poor. The cashier just stared at me blankly after I said hello, asked about their day and ordered. They kept questioning to confirm what I ordered and when I said thank you they continued their blank stare. However, they were perfectly nice to the next people that ordered, greeting them, etc. Very odd.
