Corato II Pizza Ridgewood Reviews
Pizza is amazing, i’ve been going here since a kid
I use to come here as a kid and I haven't been here in like 15 years but the pizza was still great just like I remembered and it is also still owned but the same family.
Super clean spot Staff is very attentive & the Chicken Francese & pepperoni slices are delicious. 👌🏽
One of my favorite pizza places in Ridgewood. The chicken pizza, chicken roll, and garlic knots are some of my favorites. If you want great pizza, come here.
My family has been going here for about 40 years. All the food is delicious & fresh. Some favorite things are the pizza calzone, any kind of pizza, eggplant or spinach rolls, grilled chicken Cesar wrap, or any main dish. They have also catered for us multiple times. Service is great and friendly always. A Ridgewood/Glendale staple that keeps me coming back to the neighborhood!
Been going here since I was a kid. Favorite pizza spot. Love their chicken and tomato slice, everything else is just as nice.
Some reviews are weird. Cheese ain't plasticy, there's just a lot of it. Also if it's falling off it's cause the pizzas HOT, you have to let it cool down just a bit. Overall one of my favorite spots. Costs gone up recently so I like that less.
Good quality for a good price. Only $8 and change for a regular slice and this stuffed spinach sandwich which was super filling. It was maybe equal to 2.5 spinach slices! Everything was delicious. We were served quickly. Dining room was clean. They have an assortment of wines and desserts here as well if you were dining in and wanted more options.
I. Love. This. Place. Every time I order a well done pizza from here it’s so good it reminds me of the old New York. If I close my eyes I can see a Gino’s iceee machine behind the counter and some soda machines. It’s the best pizza in Ridgewood hands down. Thank you guys. Also my pizza arrives piping hot. Straight outta the oven!!!!!
I've been going here since I was a kid and the place hasn't changed a bit. The owner is still the same gentlemen and great guy has watched me grow up and still comes out from behind the counter to say hello and shake my hand and say it's good to see you and how's the family. The food hasn't changed either its gotten better and the prices for the portion you can't beat it I can't finish my plate sometimes anybody I've ever taken with me if it was just for a slice or for a chicken cutlet parm dinner has always said how good the food was and have always gone back. You can't go wrong with stopping in and grabbing a slice you won't regret it the food and pizza is always fresh never just sitting around.
I had high expectations for this place but sadly it was disappointing. The sauce and cheese were terrible. As was the chicken. Like wow— that cheese tasted fake. Not like mozzarella or any real cheese at all. The sauce was barely placed on the pizza and it had little flavor. The grilled chicken also had no flavor. What a letdown. Service was also slow, despite being friendly and polite.
I went to this pizzeria to have a pizza and the experience was terrible. The pizza tasted like it was from the previous day, with very poor quality. On top of that, the service was awful — a tall guy who attended me was extremely rude and unprofessional. I will not come back and I do not recommend this place.
Honesty one of the worst pizzas I’ve had. Came here for lunch and got a regular slice and some hot dog puffs. Slice was mediocre and didn’t taste fresh or good at all. Hot dog puffs were a joke, there was like no meat in them. Service was terrible, one of the guys seemed like he kept cursing under his breath and the other guy sighed so hard when I asked for a cup of sauce like I asked him to climb a mountain. Never coming back.
There were two occasions when I thew pizza away. The first time was a dollar slice from a joint on Eighth Avenue and the second time was from this place. Hands down, the worst I've ever eaten. I ordered a couple of slices which were overloaded with cheap, greasy cheese and a "pizza calzone" and got this sloppy mess. Basically, it was a bad slice wrapped in a doughy shell. Looks appetizing, eh? And, the older counter guy wasn't wearing a mask. Hard pass.
