Burek Pizza Ridgewood Reviews
One of my favorite spots in Ridgewood! Limited menu but something for everyone, order and grab a spot outside to take in the neighborhood vibes. The spinach and cheese burek is consistently packed with flavor. Always get the side yogurt to pair.
The place reopened! Burek with cheese was delicious, straight out of the oven. Local, authentic - love it! Will definitely come back to try other options.
Simple place that does the simple things really well. The burek tastes just like it does in the Balkans
Wonderful. There are 4 menu items: 3 types of burek (Balkan “pizza”) and drinkable yogurt. GET THE YOGURT. It is a non-sweet, acidic yogurt that perfectly complements the burek (I like to dip it in there). Cash only and very friendly staff.
Greatest Discovery...The Cheese Burek is just delicious. Best part is when its nice and hot out of the oven. The service is great and they are very friendly. You can order ahead and also get delivery. Winter hours are shorter but spring and summer times they will be open till 5pm. A must try. Cash only no cards and a big slice will cost you about $6. Whole Pie $24.
I have to admit, after coming from Ireland, I did not have a clue what Burek pizza was. Always game to try something different, and it had the word pizza in it, so what's to lose? So glad I had it, now several times, because it is simply delicious! Crispy thin layers of dough, absolutely amazing. Make sure you get the yogurt to go with it. Give it a try, you won't regret it :)
No frills take out spot. The burek is great!

This place serves up some of the best Burek I’ve ever had! Anytime I’m in Queens, I make it a must to stop by and grab a couple of their incredible pies. The Burek is perfectly crispy, not greasy, and bursting with flavor. Whether you go for the feta cheese, spinach, or meat variety, you can’t go wrong. And don’t miss out on their delicious house-made yogurt—it takes the experience to the next level!
The burek is very good. Business hours 11am to 3pm
This is the spot!!! I fell in love with burek when I lived in the Balkans and this rivals the best burek on the streets of Sarajevo or Zagreb. 10/10 underrated gem. The yogurt is also an absolute must.
Incredible burek, the texture of the dough is unreal, so chewy and crispy. The cheese and spinach pies are phenomenal. Everything is made to order so there may be a bit of a wait, usually best to order ahead & take home
Omg it was so good!!! I have been passing by this place for several years now and telling myself “I must stop by” but they close relatively early since Covid so it’s a bit harder to go. I finally went in today and got the meat burek and it was heavenly. We have something similar in Moldova but I honestly like this version better. Will be stopping by to try the cheese and the spinach and cheese ones. The yogurt is excellent too. Good service!
Crispy and fresh. Probably because I walked in when they were taking it out of the oven. Definitely gives a feel of authentic Serbian burek. Id skip the yogurt..tastes a bit watered down. Definitely a good quick bite to eat
Been eating here for a few years. The burek is nice and fresh, my personal favorite in order is the spinach and cheese, just cheese and the meat burek. All of them are super tasty. And don't forget to order the yogurt. The workers are nice. The prices are great.
It might look like a hole in the wall but this place is a hidden treasure! I have been coming here for years and my family and I love it! I have also introduced some friends to it and they love it as well! It takes some time to get your food as everything is made to order but the "cheese burek's" and the yogurt are phenomenal! You can also call ahead to let them know as it can take about 20-25 minutes for your order. Definitely try it!
So delicious and fresh, great alternative to a breakfast sandwich if you are in the neighborhood. Amazing service from the lovely person running the whole operation. Tastes like the bureks I had in Sarajevo, make sure to get the yogurt.
Love this place. I always get whatever burek they have available, when hot and fresh is really good. My favorite is the meat, followed by spinach and cheese, and cheese only. $6 for a huge slice.
The burek is very good. Business hours 11am to 3pm
A burek a day will make your fitness gains go away Hvala lijepa!

The burek it’s the best I had and believe me I had been all America but I’m giving it 3 stars because of the rude management they don’t treat costumers right
Burek is decent but not spectacular in this place, they don't have anything else.

This place has good burek BUT good luck making a phone order. They almost never answer their phone. It seems like they don’t care if they get your business or not. Same thing with their business being open. They are supposed to be open 11:00am to 3:00pm which is a bit of a joke on its own but when you go during these hours sometimes are still closed. It’s hit or miss with this place. How do they run a business like this? Today they were supposed to be open so I called to place an order, no answer. I go there to place my order in person because they don’t answer their phone, CLOSED!!! Unreal.
