This has honestly and silently become the most solid breakfast spot in Ridgewood. Super understated, you’ve probably passed by it without even knowing what it was or how good it is but truly it is amazing and so worth a try! 3 varieties of crispy, flaky, flavorful burek (eastern European style pizza) - cheese, meat, or spinach. I’m veggie and the spinach is honestly to die for. Portion is huge and filling, and for $7.50 a slice it’s the cheapest breakfast “sandwich” you’re gonna find in the neighborhood. There are some tables inside if you want to sit but it’s more of a take out type of place I would say. No frills, not the best ambiance, but the food speaks for itself! So so good. Be advised it’s cash only!

Bester Burek den ich bis jetzt gegessen habe und zusammen mit dem Joghurt eine super Kombo! Aber was das mit Pizza zu tun haben soll, versteh ich nicht so ganz. Aber ist eigentlich auch egal. 10 Punkte.

Gotta admire this place. ive been walking by for years never stopped. last week friday i passed and saw a LINE of people and one dude eating a..cheese pie? so i did stop b c i HAD to know what on earth was that. DUDE its AMAZING its like a cheesy salty crunchy pie! and for five bucks im sure af not complaining its really a treat. oh btw they make homemade yogurt! its two bucks and really freaking good like tangy and drinkable outta the cup. definetly a hidden gem try for yourself!

I finally went in today and got the meat burek and it was heavenly. We have something similar in Moldova but I honestly like this version better. Will be stopping by to try the cheese and the spinach and cheese ones. The yogurt is excellent too. Good service!

Love this place. I always get whatever burek they have available, when hot and fresh is really good. My favorite is the meat, followed by spinach and cheese, and cheese only. $6 for a huge slice.

I like their food but recently they are closing at 3pm and most American families are home 5-6.. They used to keep open till 7-8. Covid or not this place is mostly take-out (only one table inside)
