Delicious and authentic with 5 star service every time. This restaurant is simply amazing! Definitely try some dessert you won't be sorry.
The food was superb! The staff was professional and the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.
This place was highly recommended from a friend. So we decided to come here for my niece 13th bday and because she loves lemon chicken. So we all loved the food and we were all surprised about how they sing happy birthday to birthday person :) We will definitely be back....
The food Is very good. Good service and a nice atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. On the negative side the portions could be bigger.
This is my go to Italian restaurant. The food is simply amazing. Great service with very friendly staff. If you haven't yet tried you must make it a priority.
It NEVER disappoints!! Authentic italian food, service is impeccable with a friendly staff that always make you feel welcomed & the daily specials are so delicious you don't know which one to choose from. You will definitely return after you discover for yourself how great this place is. One of Queens hidden gems
The food, the service, the ambiance, and the cleanliness is excellent‼️
Everyone was super nice, food was great. It's exactly the kind of neighborhood spot I've been looking for :)
I love this spot. The place is beautiful very well kept clean. The waiters and servers are amazing. This place food is delicious and great desserts. No complaints here, new favorite spot
My favorite Italian restaurant in the neighborhood, amazing food great staff affordable prices. The wine is okay but it's only $24 a bottle. I try to go as often as I can it's really that good
Oh man I order chicken breast with spaghetti , my stomach felt like it was in Heaven and my wife ordered meatball which she loved! I can eat here everyday! Good job chef! And Employess! A+ Recommend!
One of my favorite spots. Everything is priced well and the portions are just right every time. The staff here are very attentive and friendly.
I've eaten here 10+ times and have zero complaints. Their entire menu is fantastic. The service is consistently friendly and efficient. The pasta...oh boy. Get some pasta here. And a pizza. And a meat dish...
been coming her for 15+ years. personal favorite italian food in the neighborhood.
Delicious Italian restaurant. Have never had a bad meal in several years of eating here. Small place-- limited seating. Reservations recommended. Street parking only, unisex bathroom.
This has to be the best food I've ever had. Cindy was a fabulous server, and the place was packed without being too noisy!
What a gem - Quaint neighborhood vibe with class. The attention to detail and quality was excellent! Thank you for the great service and experience!
Love the food here, it is very delicious. It is very busy reastaurant and friendly people. I will rate it with 5 stars because they have also a good wine and price
The food was exquisite, but the time to get our food was a bit long. I still highly recommend eating here. I plan to return.
It's a great place for dinner. They have fresh pasta, wine and appetizers. It's one of my hubby and I place to celebrate our 10yr wedding anniversary. It's Fantastic!
One of the best hidden gems in Queens. It’s like having dinner at your favorite Italian grandma’s house. My husband & I are obsessed with the meatball appetizer, on the menu as Polpette “Picirridi”! But that’s not all, their homemade tiramisu for dessert is Amazing. AND we can’t seem to decide on which one of the entrees and special daily dishes is our fave...
Antica Trattoria • Host Excellent! • Service Excellent! • Food Outstanding & Delicious My Wife and I have been coming here with family for over 25 years and it is always a great experience. This past Sunday, Alvino and the staff were great, and the food was so good that we are inviting our family to Antica for our 30th wedding anniversary dinner in May. Thank you Antica and order me a whole Italian style cheesecake with pistachio (So Good) for our anniversary dinner. Anthony & Grace Ciao
This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants, accidentally stumbled across it one day 5 years ago and it has become my go to since. The service is impeccable and the food never disappoints. Ive tried over 50% of their menu and there hasn't been a single item I didn't like, the portions are perfect. You're full but not this meal made me sluggish and I have no room for dessert full ;) if youre around give it a try!
Wow this place was AMAZING. I was looking for place to take my family of 6 in the neighborhood and I found it. Make sure to make a reservation. For background the following is what we got and all of it was a 10/10. Caesar Salad-10/10 Mozzarella in Carrozza (fancy fried Mozzarella) 10/10 Polpetta “Piciriddi”-Meatballs 10/10 2 orders of Fettuccine Alfredo one w/shrimp-10/10 Penne a la Vodka with Fried chicken cutlet-10/10 Pollo (chicken) Parmesan-10/10 Linguine Pescatore-10/10 Bistecca alla Griglia (Ribeye Steak)-10/10
First of all, if I could give more then 5 stars I would. This place is UNBELIEVABLE. This is easily one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. From the appetizers to the pasta to the deserts, everything was amazing and exceeded my expectations. The margarita pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had as well as the penne alla vodka and fettuccine Alfredo. The Affogato, tiramisu, and pistachio cheesecake were insanely good. I would come here for the desert alone.I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. I promise you will not be disappointed. The most delicious, fresh, and authentic Italian food. The service was also fantastic and the atmosphere was lovely and inviting. I’m so glad we stopped in. We will most definitely be returning. Wow just wow!!!!
Excellent service, homemade pasta, and Pinot Grigio makes this place a neighborhood favorite!
I have been coming here for over 2 decades since I was a child with my family. The staff is still the same and their service has always been kind and sincere. The food remains the best Italian food I have ever tasted in NYC. Please support this staple in the Ridgewood community.
Great pasta dishes and the specials are always delicious. The pizza is very good! The staff are nice and attentive but not over baring. The owner is there every night greeting and mingling with everyone, makes for an old world feeling, which is greatly missed in this automated world we now live in!
The food is great - always well executed, and manages to avoid the heaviness that most neighborhood Italian joints can't get past. The wine is ok, but very well priced. The decor is stuck somewhere a few decades ago, but that somehow adds to the appeal. Service is solid. One of my favorites.
Great small place for dinner in Ridgewood, Queens. We ordered the fried calamari as appetizer, and I had the shrimp scampi with vegetables, while my husband had the chicken Marsala with pasta for dinner. Everything was excellent! We then had dessert and coffee-the tiramisu was delicious. Staff was friendly and food came out quickly. Love this place!
We love this place. It's straight out of The Godfather, but there is a reason it has been in the neighborhood for so long. The wines are limited, but mostly drinkable, and we always order the meatballs. They are the best we heve ever had. Nothing we have had there has ever disappointed, and friends love the place when we bring them to the neighborhood.
This was a really great dining experience. The food was very classic but top notch. The service was good. The atmosphere was quaint, some might say small but i didnt feel tightly seated next to anyone. Cant wait to go back.
Had a 75th birthday lunch for my mom. We were 14 people, and I elected to use the party menu. Food was delicious...calamari were tender, crispy, and seasoned well! I would definitely recommend this spot. The owner and server on duty treated us excellently!
This is a very small but cozy restaurant. I love the staff they're great, the food is even better. I love their appetizer meatballs, the eggplant app, entre grilled chicken penne al la vodka is SO good worth the parking ticket I got :/...I will definitely be returning and I recommend this place. The price of plate is what I think average $$. Try it!
Food was delicious, reasonable for the area, and we had lovely corner table with enough quiet to have a lovely dinner conversation.
Great place, the food and service are awesome, highly recommend them !!!
The best Italian food, great staff, great service. I love coming here and can't wait to come back! ♥️
A good to for me for the 20 years I've been in ridgewood. Authentic Italian food with awesome service.
Certainly! Antica Trattoria – A Quiet Mastery of Italian Tradition Antica Trattoria doesn’t rely on flash or theatrics—it lets the food speak. And speak it does, in the most elegant and understated of tones. This is Italian cuisine rooted in tradition, prepared with care, and served with quiet confidence. The pasta dishes are particularly impressive—handcrafted, balanced, and deeply satisfying. Whether it’s a classic spaghetti alle vongole or a hearty rigatoni Bolognese, each plate reflects the skill of a kitchen that understands restraint and precision. The veal, always tender, arrives cooked to perfection, accompanied by sauces that complement rather than overwhelm. The menu is thoughtful and focused, with each dish honoring familiar Italian staples while maintaining its own character. Even the simplest preparations feel elevated through attention to detail—from the quality of the olive oil to the finishing herbs. Service is professional and courteous without ever being overbearing. It’s the kind of place where you’re well taken care of, but never rushed—a rarity these days. Antica Trattoria may not clamor for attention, but that’s exactly its charm. It offers a dining experience rooted in substance over show, with flavors that linger long after the last bite.
A local gem for really good homemade Italian food at a very good price. Everything on the menu is really good, however, as a personal preference, their Fettuccine Ragú is to die for. They always have specials as well which is really good in case you are in the mood for something different. I recommend you always call ahead for reservations as they can get very busy and walk-ins can cause you to wait as the place is on the smaller side. However, their service and attentiveness is always 100%. Highly recommend!
Went last night to get takeout because I was craving meatballs. Had the pleasure of getting my order taken by Alieo (so sorry if I botched the spelling). He was an absolute joy, even for something as small as a to go order. I am definitely going back if the service was that great for to go. He was kind and patient and just brought a good vibe to Antica. The meatballs were also sooo good. Can’t wait to go back and try more.
Neighborhood gem. Very authentically prepared dishes with fresh ingredients. It’s been a while since I was absolutely impressed with the food in a not so big establishment. Must try. Staff is great as well, owner makes sure everyone leaves satisfied. Definitely will return on the weekly basis.
Very good food and service.. Highly recommended.
Was visiting NYC for an emergency and met friends for dinner here. The food was excellent as well as service! High recommended if you like good Italian food.
Very nice place. Food is delicious. We tried the veal Milanese and the spinach & ricotta ravioli with pink sauce. Delicious!!! The veal Milanese was better than one we tried in Milan. The owner is very welcoming. He makes sure every customer is satisfied and takes immaculate care that the quality of food and service is at its best. Give this place a try.
Cozy spot, great food especially the homemade pasta dish with fennel, and the service is fantastic. My go to Italian restaurant!
Amazing place I highly recommend there meatballs super good! Their service was amazing they work as a team and always make sure we were attended to. Definitely will come again.
It was an amazing experience. First off I made reservations for my sister's birthday. The staff were nice and kind. They were attentive and polite. I was having a bit of trouble understanding the menu because I'm not familiar with the Italian dishes by words but the server was very kind in explaining what each dish was. Also the food was very delicious and worth every penny! The appetizers, meals, and desserts were all around great and tasty. Lastly for the singing of happy birthday, the staff played happy birthday on the radio and made my sister feel special. I've had a pleasant experience at this restaurant! Food 5/5 stars Service 5/5 stars
Always consistent with their food, delicious.
A fairly inexpensive neighborhood place with exceptional food and service
We have eaten here several times. It is fast becoming a local go-to for us and family members. First, the atmosphere is nice, cozy, and pleasant. As it is a small space, it gets a bit loud. The tables are close but not so much as to seem on top of each other. The service is great. The staff is attentive, and the servers are nice and courteous. The food doesn't take long to come out. The menu is large but not excessive as to make it hard to choose. The food is delicious and well cooked. I have not had a bad meal there. I would highly recommend giving it a try.
Loved the service , our waitress was very sweet , I had the peach sangria, the Vitello cordeun blue was really good.
Amazing experience! The best italian food! Service on point! Thank you for the best service!
Absolutely phenomenal Italian gem located right in my own hood. This was my second time here. This time I opted to try their pizza and had the Napolitana, which their menu states has fresh tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and basil. My pie did not have any tomatoes that I could see but I did not complain. The tomato sauce though generously covered the pizza and I was grateful for that. The crust was utterly perfect - the ideal combination of deliciously doughy yet adequately crispy. (I hate pizza that is too crunchy or akin to eating dry cardboard.) This pizza, however, was expertly baked. The bf had the tagliatelle capitano, a homemade pasta with crab meat and shrimp in fresh tomato sauce with a touch of cream. His entree was insanely flavorful, much like what I imagine an Italian grandmother's homecooking would be like. The creamy texture balanced out the tomato sauce and seafood very well and the pasta was cooked to just the right density. For dessert, I had the tartufo which is chocolate gelato covered in cocoa powder all over with finely diced hazelnut. My bf had the tiramisu. I would come back here a million times over.
The staff was very attentive and helpful. Dinner was delicious, fresh pasta made on site. Dessert was cream brûlée and fruta de bosco and my husband said it’s his new favorite!
Antica Trattoria (Fresh Pond Rd) This is a great old-fashioned Italian spot that feels like a real neighborhood trattoria, not a trendy “Instagram” place. The vibe is classic and cozy, with that old-school, dim-lit dining room energy where you can actually relax and enjoy the meal. Food is consistently delicious and tastes homemade. They start you off with bread, and everything we tried was the kind of comforting Italian you want: rich pastas, solid pizza, and really good appetizers. Highlights for me were the mozzarella in carrozza (crispy, gooey, perfect with sauce), the pasta (carbonara/vodka-style options are standouts), and dessert like tiramisu to finish. Portions are generous and the prices feel fair for NYC, especially compared to a lot of places that charge a fortune for less. Service is another reason I keep recommending it. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without hovering or rushing you. It’s the type of place where you feel taken care of. One important note: don’t come expecting a full bar experience. It’s more simple and traditional (beer/wine/soft drinks), which honestly matches the old-fashioned feel. If you want a proper, classic Italian meal in a warm neighborhood restaurant, Antica Trattoria delivers.
Can’t ask for much more from a neighborhood restaurant!! Amazing service, this is my girlfriend and I’s go to spot, and every dish we’ve tried has been fantastic.
Antica Trattoria has been my favorite spot for the past two years. It's truly a hidden gem in the heart of Ridgewood and one I highly recommend -They offer a wonderful variety of traditional Italian dishes, all cooked to perfection – always fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Every dish is full of authentic taste and love. 🇮🇹👨🍳🍳❤️😋 The customer service is outstanding! From the moment you walk in, you're treated like family. The staff is incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, which makes every visit even more special
The service was excellent. Manager went out of his way to make sure we were happy. The fresh pasta seafood special was amazing. Lemon cake dessert with raspberry sauce was incredible. Highly recommend.
I’ve been going here since I was a child. It’s always filled me with the same joy every time I walked through those doors. The staff are knowledgeable and respectful, the atmosphere is welcoming. And when I make a reservation I catch myself daydreaming about the food until the day comes. Highly recommend the Carrozza, it will forever live in my brain and stomach. If you don’t go here you’re doing yourself a disservice. Forever a pillar of Ridgewood.
When we got there, we didn’t have any reservation and they were packed. We were a large group, but were so kind to accommodate us. The service was topnotch. Food was delicious. We had a bunch of appetizers to begin with: fried calamari, seafood salad, pizza, etc. and everything tested fresh. For main dish, linguine with seafood was the winner. Highly recommended. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is perfect for families and big groups.
This place is a gem. The food is so flavorful. The service is top notch and friendly. The prices are TOTALLY FAIR!! Which is absolutely shocking these days because everything else in the neighborhood is over priced! Love this place.
I just had the most incredible dining experience at Antica Trattoria in Ridgewood, and I'm still reeling from the deliciousness. This traditional Italian cuisine spot has totally won me over with its modern and welcoming ambiance - it's the perfect blend of old-school charm and contemporary flair. The price range is moderate, which is totally reasonable considering the generous portions and top-notch quality of the dishes. The real star of the show, though, is the homemade pasta. I mean, can you think of anything better than a plate of freshly made fettuccine or orecchiette? We had their Fettuccine Alfredo and orecchiette with broccoli rabe and polpette, are absolute must-trys. The pasta is super fresh, delicious, and cooked to perfection. The service quality is wonderful, too - the staff is friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about the food they're serving. What really sets Antica Trattoria apart, though, is the love and care that goes into making their pasta from scratch. You can taste the difference in every bite. Whether you're a pasta aficionado or just a foodie looking for a great meal, this place is an absolute gem. So, if you're in the area, do yourself a favor and swing by - your taste buds will thank you!
This place has amazing food and such a welcoming atmosphere. The people here are incredibly friendly, and it always feels good to eat there—it’s the kind of spot that makes you feel at home. The service is consistently great, and you can tell they really care about what they do. I’m so glad to have a place this good so close to my apartment. It’s quickly become one of my favorite spots in the neighborhood
If you're craving for italian food in Queens look no further than Antica Trattoria on Fresh Pond Road in Ridgewood. There is not one thing that we did not like. The food, most important element, was excellent, we all ordered daily specials: two different pasta dishes and chicken w/cantaloupe plus pizza and calamari for all of us to share. Everything was fresh, very tastefull and given to us in a timely manner. Waiting time for pizza: 10-12 minutes. An order of calamari was already on the table before we even finished pizza. Then, 10 minutes later all four of us received our main dishes at the same time. They have a nice choice of wine, beer and soda, too. We just ordered sangrias. Great experience. Highly recommended. @@@
We couldn’t have had a better experience here. We called less than 90 minutes ahead of our reservation time, and they accommodated us with no problems. They even readjusted their table setup so the 4 of us could sit together. The food was terrific for the price, and the service was excellent. Getting quality Italian food for under $20/entree feels almost unheard of these days. The drinks were very good as well, especially the white wine sangria. We will definitely be back soon!
One of the best little Italian restaurant Ive been too, I have been going around 6 years. Everything on their menu you can’t go wrong with, very tasty. Ive had birthday celebrations , graduation dinner here and just the occasional dinner . Feels homey and classy :) Very decent price and lovely staff!
I call this place my hidden gem. Been coming here for over 20 years and it never disappoints. Food is always delicious and the staff make you feel like family. Not to mention the bonus of them not being overpriced. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Always great! They don’t list below the dishes I recommend. But I highly recommend all of them.
Antica Trattoria has a very quaint and cozy interior that's great for intimate dates or small gatherings. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, making sure we enjoyed ourselves throughout the entire night. The food was delicious, especially the pasta. Something as simple as pasta with garlic and oil was full of flavor, and it was just the side dish! Highly recommend the pizza; they have so many different choices, I can't wait to come back and try them all!
Overall, great experience. Came here with my boyfriend and I left very pleased due to the food. I honestly came in just ready for dinner, but left with a new local place I’d return to. The chicken parmigiana and chicken marsala were very tasty and each came with a side pasta. The portion was rather small for the entree, but this was to be expected so we started off with a few appetizers. The prices were very reasonable and I honestly would recommend this place for a little date or something. Try the calamari, it’s very tasty.
A quality Italian restaurant steps away from the M train! The front of house staff are kind and attentive, and the kitchen offers classic dishes - my friend and I enjoyed the calamari appetizer and chicken parmesan.
I wish I would’ve taken pictures of the food. I ordered Spaghetti Carbonara and it was delicious! Portions were not classic Italian family size so it’s definitely not to share. Based solely off the food I gave them 4 stars. I ordered soda with no ice and they gave me a glass cup with 2/3 of soda 👎 which is not a big deal just fyi. Nonetheless I would come again and definitely recommend.
We were feeling a bit nostalgia for this place as we haven't been here in about 10 years. Came for lunch (they open at 2) and just barely got a table because there was a party and the place was 80% filled with that. This of course made the small place rather loud. Service was a bit lacking due to the party but all the servers seemed to be hustling and working together and were friendly. We were disappointed they seem to no longer do the olive oil dip with the bread basket. Small prepackaged butter in it's place. The fried mozzarella was good but not as good as I remember maybe a bit smaller and was served luke warm same with the marinara. The veal dishes francese and marsala were both very good but maybe could have used a bit more sauce. The tartuffo dessert was lack luster but was priced fairly.
Small yet inviting, this gem serves delicate dishes expressing the rich layers of the Italian culture and cuisine. The wine selection pairs well with the menu and service is very friendly and inviting. Make sure you make a reservation as it could get busy.
Went to Antica Trattoria for Mother's Day dinner and was pleasantly surprised. They have a small intimate dining area and the food was great. The servers were very friendly. Only thing is the food took a while to come so be prepared to stay for a while.
My first time eating here. The food was quite good. The prices are also very reasonable and the atmosphere is nice. The reason only 4 stars is that the service was not great it was ok only. We were seated and given menus immediately and our order was also taken quickly. The food did arrive timely. But that's were the service ended. We were never checked on, I also had a glass of wine but was never asked for another. When we were finished with our food the plates were taken away but we were never asked if we cared for dessert, which we did want. After a minute or two of staring at each other we decided we'll just have ice cream when we get home. We called the waiter and ask for the check at which time he asks if we want some coffee, we said no. I would definitely go back because the food was very good and affordable but I would like to see the service improve.
Nice little place, food is good , but talk anout a little mom and pop restaurant, i waited 1.5 hour for my chicken parm. One waiter and ithe way food came out, im thinking only one chef too. If you have half a day, your good.
Waited a very long time to be asked for orders, aswell as a long wait time for food. Odd because there aren't many seats. The calamari fritti I had as an appetizer are actually very good. Ordered the spaghetti carbonara which I did wait a long time for. The sauce and flavor are good but sadly the pasta was under cooked and they where very conservative with the sauce to say the least. Overall just an OK place. Don't come if you're in hurry ;)
The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. But I do want to mention about their service which I wasn’t so satisfied with. There weren’t lots of people dining in at that time but it felt like the service was being rushed. The waitress was super loud as if she shouting when she’s taking the order. After we received our food, the waitress kept coming to our table just kept looking towards our food and towards the end when I was middle of eating she asked if we were done. After that we did order dessert and shortly she asked us if we wanted the bill before we can even say anything. After all that It just felt very awkward to even stay any longer and I wanted to leave the place as soon as possible.
I was really looking forward to dining here, especially since my boyfriend and I share the same birthday, and we were celebrating! Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer, and it took way too long to arrive. The portion sizes were also smaller than expected for the price, making it feel like we weren’t getting our money’s worth. The biggest issue, however, was the service. Our server only dropped off our plates and never checked on us—not once. Meanwhile, as we looked around, we noticed she was constantly checking on other tables, making sure they were taken care of. It was frustrating because, as Black customers, we often get labeled as non-tippers, yet we always tip well when the service is good. But when we receive subpar service from the start, it makes the experience uncomfortable especially since I do reviews for a living. You’d think a birthday celebration would make for a more positive experience, but instead, it felt like we were an afterthought. I might give this place another shot, but only if I know for sure that she isn’t working that day. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend it unless they improve their service, food portions, and overall treatment of customers.
It wasn’t one of the worst experience I have ever had. The service was horrible 15 min wait for a table. The waiter look like in a hurry didn't take our order until 20 min then we got the food and it was average not to great but is was good. The worst part was that my father found a piece of cloth in he’s glass of water and we complain the waiter didn’t do anything about it he just said it was because they dry it with a cloth it was an accident.Unprofessional I’m never come back to this restaurant again
To be honest I didn't like the food or the environment. We waited a real long time for our food and the food wasn't anything special. The place was so dark I had trouble reading the menu, the lighting was a dim warm. I don't like lighting like that in restuarants because you can't see when things are dirty. And I saw dirt on the wall. The Appitizer. I had the stuffed mushrooms. They were basically 4 tiny mushrooms about the size of a silver dollar with some Chef Boyardee type saucee. It was soggy and falling apart when I picked it up with my fork. When I put it in my mouth I immediately burned the roof of my mouth and got a blister for the rest of the day. It was so dark in there I guess I couldn't see the steam rising from the food. It was disgusting to me. The Dinner. It was just some green ravioli with some cheese stuffing if I remember correctly. Nothing special, it tasted like it was frozen and they boiled it and put it on a plate. nothing amazing. It was rubbery and way understuffed. The bread. Normally I wouldn't say anything about restaurant bread but iit tasted wierd, but I can't put a finger on it. Like I said the lights were very dim so I couldn't get a good look at the food.
I already left one bad review, but a friend insisted on this place because it’s close. The crab cake is disgusting. The Shrimp scampi (actually not bad) comes with pasta that he red sauce. HELLO they don’t go together. The sausage pizza is ok till u taste the sausage. I just don’t get it
Ordered on uber eats. Not worth the price for what you pay. Food was lunch portions. Decent at most. The app says "vegetables" and the side was broccoli not "vegetables". The pasta amount was a joke. Fit for a 5yr not a grown adult. will not order again
I was there with my family celebrating my brothers birthday and when we walked in the place they only had a party of 3 already sitting down. They get us our table ready and we sit down. There was a girl that seemed to be training. They wait at least 20 minutes before they greet us they where busy catering to that one party we felt so left out. The server was so nice to them, joking and giving them recommendations. We was about to leave and they finally acknowledged us, services was totally different. We asked for a sweet wine and servers recommendation was horrible. Had to buy outside food for my son because they didn't have options for toddlers meaning chicken fingers and French fries ect. I ask the server why and his answer was kids usually eat from the parents plates. I'm like huuh? So all kids eat pasta? I was so confused. I noticed when I first came in the female server had gloves on I watched her give out menus, clean up the bar, cut fruits, served drinks and went to the store and not once she changed her gloves smh so nasty the guy server was behind the bar touching his face and not once he washed his hands. The food was delicious shout out to the chef but the service wasn't great at all this place have favoritism and I don't like that. As soon as the owner walked in there the energy changed I still tipped because its covid but I was so disappointed with the treatment I will never return back there. You can't judge a book by its cover he would of been surprised if he would have treated us the same!
Today I have to say I am very disappointed with the service I had . The waitress was not attentive like usual he is the other supervisor where usually I get great service all the time . But the day I choose to leave my home to relax and have a glass of wine it wasn’t a good experience also the young girl that came to the table after so long to pick up the dishware didnt even ask if we needed any dessert or anything else not friendly at all . I need someone to respond this message it’s very unfair that I had to walk out and wasn’t able to finish my wine or even have dessert like I would have want to . I really got turned off and I will not go back there again . I also spoke to the manger about it and told him how I felt and he did not acknowledge his regular customer! The food wasn’t as good today and small portions as well !!
I ordered a couple of pastas and sandwich on DoorDash. They had the nerve to send me this half empty pasta and hardly any sauce. Not to mention these containers are tiny to begin with. Then my spouse pasta with chicken was an abomination. Hardly any sauce again and chicken was burned. My kids sandwich was lacking cheese on the chicken parm sandwich. They are trying to cut corners everywhere, such bad business practices. There is no way this is a 4.7 rated establishment. This restaurant needs to fix their mistakes a lot of reviewers on DoorDash point out the same issues.
I want to first say THAT THIS PLACE IS A NO GO!!!!! The food portions are extremely small, and they do not taste authentic at all. The menu is very misguided and the waiters do not understand anything about the food so they’re not able to help you understand the menu. I ordered ravioli pasta, And the waiter came out with six pieces of ravioli on a plate with barely any pasta sauce. That pasta was garbage. The appetizers were extremely small, and also terrible. I’ve come to the conclusion that most the reviews for this place are done by family members or friends, that have a vested interest in this place. As an authentic customer, I do not believe this place is even a decent pasta restaurant. I would suggest you’d spend your money elsewhere for better quality, food, and bigger portions
