This has to be the best bagel shop I have ever ever incountered in my life the western omelette on a plain bagel is my favorite but anything you get there is fresh and amazing from bagels to sandwiches to a simple yougurt muffin which by the way the chocolate chip is by far amazing this is the gem of Ridgewood

This is my neighborhood go to place when it comes to bagels. From the out side it looks like nothing fancy but they make all kind of fresh bagels everyday, sandwiches, and they have good coffee which you make yourself. I like the do it yourself option because who better knows how you like your coffee! Always enjoyed my breakfast sandwiches so I will definitely keep coming.

For the typical New York Bagel lover this is the place to come to. Complete hole in the wall. Doesn't look like much from the outside but it is by far the best bagel place around. The bagels are fresh from the oven and super tasty. I will not go to Dunkin ever again (I am not just saying that) Coffee is fresh and self serve which I like. Great prices.

I love their bagels here, huge but on the lighter and fluffy side instead of dense, and they put a very reasonable amount of cream cheese instead of piling it on 😅 The guys behind the counter are always friendly, the prices are good, and the egg sandwiches are everything a New Yorker could ask for!

No other bagel shops in the neighborhood so it’s great that this place is actually good. Freshness and taste are always consistent. When they run out of bagels and prep new ones it’s worth the wait.

This was a great bagel, it lived up to the “wow” in its name hahaha. In 2015 my dad hit someone with his car. My dad said he was dead but I saw him still breathing. We dragged him into the woods and left him there. I saw his wife crying on TV a few days later. I didn’t say anything and mu dad was never caught. He’s a congressman. Wow!

Great find whilst walking through Ridgewood. Quick service, very reasonably priced and the bagels were delicious. If you’re looking for a particular filling, make sure you go in early though as there was no pastrami by the time we’d got there at 1.30. The turkey, egg and cheese was still really good!

Absolutely Love this place. Best bagels I’ve had in my lifetime. Hole in the wall, service a bit slow, but hands down, bagels rule. Only complaint I have is that their cream cheese is sometimes too salted. When I first started going here their cream cheese was barely salted and incredible, rich, delicious, just perfect bagel in everyway!! Past handful of times it seems they’ve added salt to the vegetable cream cheese or are using a different kind... not sure, but you should switch back!

These are my favorite bagels and the veggie cream cheese is amazing! Have to dock a star though because they’re closed almost every time I want a bagel. I could go if they opened at 7 AM. I also went at 7:45 AM today (Sunday 10/30) and they weren’t open yet, despite the hours saying they should be.

Tasty bagels and a good scallion cream cheese. Shop looks a little run down, but the staff was super friendly and the prices were good. On a weekday, store still had a nice variety of bagels at lunchtime, unlike a lot of these other little places that mostly run out after the morning rush.

It's a nice spot. Exactly what you would expect from a bagel place. Problem is their variety seems false as they dont do much besides the basic stuff everyone knows. It also feels a little dirty not to an extent where you'd see anything nasty. Just in a way that doesnt feel like they care too much about an aging building. Although it has its cons though it does make up for some tasty breakfast bagels. One thing I would change though is the price though. It can be a little bit too much for something small. But that's ridgewood for you. Expensive prices good food small servings.

Amazing bagels, long lines are quite common in the morning but the service is still good. Could use a little more staff members in my own opinion, however. Been coming here since I was a child

Great place to stop for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. I enjoy my sandwiches on a roll but get it on a bagel sometimes. Their bagels are very good. Early mornings can get busy. It's not as busy in the afternoons. It's more of a take it to-go spot. But they have some seating and tables if you'd like to eat there. Food and coffee is fresh and overall, a great place to grab breakfast.

Good breakfast, straight forward. Only down fall is, they should have a sign for “cash only”. No debit or credit. They do have an ATM but it charges nearly $3. So go with cash.

Good place for breakfast, disorganized and overcrowded, white residents and their privilege to b taken care before anyone else, they also hate to hear Latino speaking Spanish. They need to control the crowd and extend the same courtesy to all their customers. But the Spanish staff gets easily intimidated and manipulated.

Food is great. One major issue is inconsistent open times. If you go, you can expect them to be closed, as they’re not ready. I would not depend on them if you have to get a quick breakfast early in the morning. I went today at almost 8 am, and they were still closed.

Come & get your fresh begals here....just don't ask for anything else because they don't have it. I had a taste for a nice hot pastrami sandwich on a bagel, but was shocked that they don't have any cold cuts....eventhough they have a full menu of delicious sandwiches hung up behind the counter.

This is by far one of the best bagel shops in Queens. The prices are reasonable and the service is quick dispiritedthe fact that they do jot alwaysopen on time. However, customer service is the worst. The person who takes your order and cash is always rude. At times, they purposely tell you they don't have something or can't even cut a bagel because the machine isn't on. It's almost as though they do not want to work at this place, yet they are servicing customers. It just doesn't make sense.

I get that it’s tough to run a small business, so not trying to be overly critical. Came here at 10:30am on a Saturday and there was a big line which is totally understandable. But they only had two people working and were already down to only poppy, sesame, raisin and plain bagels. Took about 20 mins to get served. They mistakenly gave me a bacon egg and cheese when I had ordered sausage, and unfortunately the scallion cream cheese on my girlfriend’s bagel tasted funky and so she couldn’t eat it. Bagels are ok, prices are a little below the norm in the area.

I came from far to get their bagels at 6am and the store was still closed. They said it opens at 6:20 but the store was supposed to be ready to go and open at 6am.

7:45 opening, yet at 8:18 lights are all out and people are waiting in a line outside. This seems to be the general rule every day.

Worst workers ever. Say they open at 7:30 and they still haven’t opened the doors outside at 8:00am and have 20 people waiting on line. Plus it’s very dirty inside. I will never be coming here again.

Coming here for 15 years. They basically turn into a free for all on Sundays and it's a guess where the line is. Customer service is basically an NPC character with pre set lines. Go somewhere else for average bagels.

A bagel place that in 2021 doesn't take cards and has an ATM that charges almost $3 to take cash out is ridiculous. There was no one in the store but me and somehow it took over 10 minutes to make one bagel and the workers weren't wearing masks. Money and time wasted this was going to be quick

Dude making my bagel was actually spitting in a paper bag next to where he was slicing bagels. I couldn’t tell whether he was actively spitting in people’s sandwiches or not. I’ve lived in nyc my entire life and I’ve never seen such a disgusting health code violation that they weren’t even trying to hide.

I went in today to buy three bagels and a coffee. The last bagel I ordered whether he heard me or I didn’t say it. He refused to toast my bagel. He wanted me to pay for what he already made. I said I didn’t ask for that and if you heard me or I didn’t say it, I that’s still not what I want. So he said, then I could not buy anything where the coffee was already made. The two other bagels were already made. He took everything back, which I’m OK with because I would not put money in a business where They are acting in such a manner. I’m good.
