One of the best local cafes! Incredible eats. Best breakfast sandwich and coconut bun. Always has cute, calming music and the owner is so so so nice. I really appreciate having a cafe that is no laptop/tablet in the area.

This little cafe is a nice place to have tea or coffee in the quiet time between the morning and lunchtime rush. The owners managed to create a friendly atmosphere without relying on the current cookie cutter design themes. The beverage and pastry selections are always quality.

This coffee shop is a true gem in the neighborhood! The coffee is great and so is the matcha! The buns here are my absolute FAVORITE! Try the turkey bacon & cheese and the coconut one! The woman who runs it is the sweetest! Will definitely be a regular here:)

My favorite coffee shop! The sweetest lady owns and runs this adorable shop with homemade pastries that are to die for. A peaceful cafe that is perfect for catching up with a friend. Such a welcoming atmosphere - would choose this cafe over every other in the area. (Don’t forget to try the delicious Jalapeño cheddar scone or turkey bacon cheddar buns)

I want to give 5 stars - great food and drinks, nostalgic calm vibes, and I love the no laptop policy. But because of the no bathroom rule I can't. It doesn't make sense and it comes off selfish especially since we can all see the bathroom door. Is it bc of covid (even though we live in a covid world now) or they just don't want to clean? Either way, I had to leave because I needed to go home and pee. I hope they reconsider since the rule is not considerate to their customers.

Great pastries and decent coffee, but don’t come here if you’re looking to sit for a while. After 45 minutes she will ask you to buy something else or leave. This rule is reasonable if the place is busy, but this place never is. Perhaps this attitude is why!

There is no bathroom for customer use. The choice of pastries is picayune. You can't bring in laptops and tablets. An opportunity to pay $5 for a latte and sit in a warm room on a summer day.

Instead of a welcoming environment, I was met with hostility and blatant disrespect. The owner singled me out — the only Black woman in the space — and told me I could not sit and meet there, if I don't purchase anything, despite the fact that my friend had already purchased drinks for all of us. The message was loud and clear: certain people are not welcome here. No coffee or pastry is worth supporting a business that treats its customers in such a discriminatory and demeaning way. Ridgewood has plenty of cafés that value community, hospitality, and inclusivity — this is not one of them. I recommend supporting Cholita or other neighborhood coffee shops. If you care about being treated with basic respect, take your time, money, and energy elsewhere 0/10 stars.
