During my recent visit to Cypress Cafe, I opted for a drip coffee paired with a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on a sesame bagel. The coffee was robust and well-prepared, meeting my expectations without any issues. The bagel, toasted to perfection, complemented the sandwich excellently. However, I did notice the bacon portion was somewhat modest, which I acknowledge could be attributed to current economic challenges such as inflation impacting ingredient costs. Nevertheless, despite this minor observation, I found the overall experience pleasant and would certainly consider revisiting Cypress Cafe in the future.

Cappuccino is always well balanced and excellent. Only $3.50 for a large cup. Great way to start the morning. I also enjoy the hummus plate for lunch if you're not overally hungry. If you have more of an appetite, their sandwiches are large and well made. Always good to stop for food or coffee in the morning or lunch time.

This one of my favorite places in Ridgewood. I ❤️ their avocado toast and their mozzarella, tomato end presto sandwich. They are the best!! The place is very nice and cozy with excellent customer service. This is a must visit in Ridgewood! 😍

I've been meaning to pay this place a visit based on the great reviews I've read and yes it happened this morning and I am not disappointed. The menu is simple, I ordered the avocado toast and my husband ordered the B.E.C on a bagel (bacon egg and cheese). We enjoyed it plus a bonus conversation with the owner while having breakfast feels like we are home. Will definitely return.....

Great little bar/cafe established right in my neighborhood. The coffee is excellent here, you’ll find a nice cross section of neighborhood musicians, artists, and people working on laptops. Cool music shows at night from all different genres.

This place is great and it’s becoming even better. Personally the reason I go to this specific café to get my coffee is for their barista Callie. There’s nothing like a positive, skilled sweet woman making you feel like you have a place to go and people who care about you. She is an absolute gem and I’m hoping she sticks around. Unfortunately I have yet to try any of the food because they have no gluten-free options but coffee is amazing and employees are incredible.

I’ve only been to blues night which was very cute- beer and wine served. My only qualm is that they need to change their google hours. I’ve gone by a couple times around 7:40am when it says they’re open at 7:30am and it’s still locked :/.

Wifi and plenty of outlets. Also lots of outside seating. Seems to be a real neighborhood kind of place. Overheard they are new owners of the place. Wish them luck!

The staff is so friendly, and the updated space is fresh and lovely. I have heard they have a great night time scene, with live music and drinks. I look forward to checking it out soon. I’m here about 3 days a week! So hopefully I see you there!

We got sandwiches at Cypress cafe one morning. The staff was very warm and welcoming and the service was pretty quick. The pesto sandwich was very good and BEC on a everything bagel was good as well.

This bar is always empty and shows little regard for its neighbors. It operates as if it were a club with no patrons, despite being located in a residential area. The bar should consider how disruptive and uncomfortable its activities are for residents returning home to rest after a busy workday. It is an inconsiderate establishment.

The owners of this business have no respect for the people who live on the block. Every weekend loud music is blasted out of their open doors and large open windows and I can hear customers’ conversations (who are shouting so they can hear themselves over the loud music) as if it’s directly outside my window. This business has been a noise plague to the corner for several years and it seems to be under new ownership, who are more brazen than the last. Most bars in residential neighborhoods post signs that say “please be respectful of our neighbors—keep the volume down.” Not these guys. They seem to enjoy tormenting their neighbors.
