The breakfast sandwiches were AMAZEBALLZ. There was a new barista who put the espresso in last by accident but she was a kind soul nonetheless.

Delicious breakfast good price and I have had lunch here before highly recommend the turkey avocado sandwich

Such a lovely place to stop by for breakfast. The vegan muffins are delicious. Cold brew was strong without being overwhelming. Barista was so friendly and efficient. Super clean, great music, peaceful environment.

A great place to go to in the morning and afternoon to get a great cup of coffee and some of their award-winning level pastries. Oh, and of course every Sunday from 1pm to 2pm they host “Sunday Service” a live comedy and music show featuring the most talented young comics and musicians in the world! Follow them all on instagram and take a screenshot with the date you did it, so that when they’re gonna be the most successful people in the world you’ll be able to say you knew about them before everyone else.

Literally my living room. Okay, not literally. But an amazing place to work, relax, and feel part of a community. Doesn't hurt that the sandwiches are giant and cheap, and the cappuccinos are solid. It would be great if they'd step up their coffee game so I felt more excited about it, but that's a very minor complaint.

This place is a Ridgewood gem. Local joint where the husband and wife run this place together. Coffee is great, the BLT was 🤌🏼 and they have wonderful lighting. Has the immediate vibe of feeling at home and around your family.

Great counter service. Table seating, counter seating, window seating, and outdoor benches. Delicious coffee from Counter Culture, perfectly brewed. Plentiful pastries, salads, sandwiches. Very cozy, I can spend hours here playing card games and drinking coffee. The staff is busy...be respectful, patient, and nice. If you cannot be patient, go to Starbucks where things are premade.

Nevertheless, despite this minor observation, I found the overall experience pleasant and would certainly consider revisiting Cypress Cafe in the future.

There’s nothing like a positive, skilled sweet woman making you feel like you have a place to go and people who care about you. She is an absolute gem and I’m hoping she sticks around. I had a different expectation as to what this cafe was going to be like based on reviews I've seen. I know it temporarily closed for a while, so I don't know if there have been changes. Coffee was good. The sandwiches were nothing to rave about. There's other places I can get a good cup of coffee and food.

Amazing food, just never open. So good in fact I've come back 7 times in the past month to a steel door closed over the place despite the business hours saying open. I now call a few days a week with no answer because I've given up walking there. Will change to a 5 star if they ever open again. So frustrating I've actually written my first review!

I would kill to have the old Cypress back. The new food menu since they changed is tiny and expensive. The look is also a generic and lacks the character the old place had.

Not the old Cypress Inn Cafe any more:( No Frankenstein, no huge sandwich, no Viola. Their coffee and their muffins are very good. Everything else is underwhelming. They even sold us a “plain croissant” with ham inside that we found out only after my vegetarian husband took a big bite of it.
