Delicious fresh pierogies in a wide array of fillings. Dough is light. Especially enjoyed the sauerkraut mushroom.

Amazing. Tiny counter service only but they'll do take out if you ask. Their pierogies are made day of or the day before. Most orders are also wholesale, so thank goodness they'll let little peons like me walk in to buy too! And if you're like me, you'll order 6 dozen plus 1 to go, hot. Take out comes topped with perfectly fried onions. Is it suppose to come with sour cream? It was the only bit I missed as I inhaled 8 out of 12 in minutes. Fab flavors: truffle, bacon, sauerkraut, etc. Some other more experimental fruit flavors. And if they happen to be making a bulk order of something special, they'll let you buy a dozen of them too. (I caught them making pierogies filled with sweet potatoes and kale! Really hearty and awesome.) There are also these deep fried roll ups - no idea what they're called but very delicious stuffed with kraut and meat. And often, they have sweet crepes filled with apple, blueberries, currant, etc.
I am a pierogi lover. Always order them when I find them in a menu. After reading the nice thoughts of my fellow Google reviewers I decided to give Stanley's a try. I was greeted warmly by Margaret who went over the selection. I chose a dozen truffle and a dozen cheese. I sauteed them at home with a little butter and onion. What a treat! The crust is so thin you hardly notice it. The potato filling is light and airy. The ratio of potato to truffle and cheese is about 50 percent. These may just be the best pierogies I've ever had. The prices are great. I'm definitely going back to Stanley's.
Have been going to Stanley's for years. Always fantastic. Have had Pierogi from other places but these are the best. Always get several dozen when having company and everyone loves them. Stop in and try if you haven't had a good Pierogi.
Not only are these pierogi delicious, but the prices are fantastic! I did not have cash on me, but thankfully they accept credit cards. The perfect quick meal when you're short on time, but also great for a nice dinner. Most importantly for me, they're full of all natural ingredients that aren't impossible to pronounce = )
By far the most delicious pierogi I've ever eaten!! Growing up pierogis were a staple in my family. My aunt made them for every holiday, picnic, party, etc. These yummy pierogi reminded me of my childhood. My favorites are potato & cheese and blueberry. The dough is light and the filling is plentiful and fresh. They were so flavorful and were sold for a really great price! Quick and super easy to make. Would definitely recommend, you will not be disappointed!!!
BEST PIEROGI ON THE MARKET! Saw these at Foodtown in Williamsburg and instantly craved the soft warm pierogi my friend's mom used to make for us when we were younger. My expectations were not that high because usually taste is sacrificed with prepped and packed food...HOWEVER THESE WERE AMAZING. It took me less than 10 minutes to pan fry them and my boyfriend and I devoured them! They were crisp on the outside but so so soft as soon as you reached the inside. I was not surprised to see all natural ingredients on the label because these pierogi are as fresh as they taste. I actually now stop by their storefront every now and then because of all the yummy types they offer! Definitely buy whether you're short on time, need a dinner idea or are just craving the best authentic pierogi!
Small business that has delicious pierogies. Very friendly and helpful workers. Probably has 15 different fillings to choose from. Very reasonable prices. Street parking.
These pierogis are delicious. My favorite are the spinach ones, but really every kind is so good. I love that I can just take them home and put them in a pan quickly and feel as if I am having fresh pierogis made right then. I actually crave these when I'm away and have to buy standard pierogis from the grocery store... there is just no comparison. 10/10 would recommend these pierogis to anyone who is looking for a scrumptious meal!!
As a foodie, a Chef, and Polish woman myself, these pierogi are the best on the market, honestly! The dough is perfect, flour from Poland so it's so authentic and it stays true to its roots. The other pierogi brands out there are also filled with a lot of bullshit and I enjoy Stanley's pierogi for its simple clean ingredients! My favorite is the spinach and cheese! Yummmmmy! Great appetizer for dinner parties.
I bought 2 packages of mushroom sauerkraut pierogi, 2 of potato onion , 2 uszka and 2 blueberry pierogi, as well as 12 mushroom sauerkraut pierogi for takeout(they put fried onions on them). Great service, fresh and delicious food, I will be back. If you’re looking for genuine Polish made pierogi and other products, this is the place to go. Also For anyone who doesn’t eat eggs or milk, many of their pierogi are animal product free!
This place is about fresh pierogi. That's it. You walk in, there a counter to the right and a poster in front showing you all the varieties of pierogi they make. Some are dessert pieroysuch as strawberry, strawberry and cheese, blueberry, blueberry and cheese, chocolate and then there's the varieties of savory pierogi. It's a filled dumpling inside unleavened dough that's boiled and then baked with butter or fried before serving. It's a food eaten from Eastern Germany all the way through Russia, meaning Romanians, Ukrainians and most famously in America, the Poles. In the heart of a traditional Polish neighborhood lies Stanley's Pierogi. Their pierogi are made without eggs though some contain meat, and are fresh and delicious. Every time I'm in the neighborhood, I can't help but stop by. This place is just to pick up pierogi to go. There's a counter and a refrigerator behind. You walk in and wait for someone to walk up and hand you what you ask for. They're pleasant enough, but they're not very gabby. The prices are beyond reasonable, especially given the freshness and quality of the product. Come in, look at the chart and figure out what you want and ask for it after a quick greeting. If you need help, they will help without going into too much talk. There's nothing short or rude about it, they have to get back to work in the back. There's nothing to the decor, it's all spartan and that's it. Just perfect for what you came for in the first place.
I felt the tension leave my shoulders when I sat down. Their dishes showed no special care. Staff members maintained excellent attention. They provide a broad selection of dishes. The employees maintain high standards consistently.
Stanley's Pierogi shines brighter than others. The staff was incredibly kind - completely sincere. Their drinks program shines and their food holds its own. The people working here are as good as the food. As a newcomer to the area, I'm thankful to have found this place.
The environment here is as good as the menu. The kitchen earns highest possible ratings. The experience here stands out. Staff members combine efficiency with genuine interest. The restaurant maintains standards across the board.
Stanley's Pierogi is a hidden gem - a small shop that packs big flavor. Their handcrafted pierogies are simply irresistible, especially when fried. My top picks? The sauerkraut & mushroom, and the creamy spinach & cheese. Each bite is a delightful explosion of flavors and textures. What sets Stanley's apart is their versatility. You can enjoy these Polish dumplings piping hot at the shop, or grab some premade to cook at home for a quick, delicious meal. With a variety of unique fillings to choose from, there's always something new to try.
Local gem! I have been shopping here for years, these pierogies taste homemade.

I KNOW Stanley's are the best pierogi. I have been shopping here for 25 years. The consistency of the fillings isn't the same. Sometimes, the meat or potato fillings are heavy on pepper, the sauerkraut is bland, or the potato is pasty. The latter was yesterday's issue. Normally, my teenage boys devour a pan of these after school, they ate the meat but politely declined the potato filling. They didn't like the texture and I agreed. It wasn't appealing. I was disappointed. I'm still going to shop here. I have nowhere else to go for a pierogi fix.

I had the blueberry.. the dough smells strange and it was very VERY salty. sadly my order didn't have the sweet cream topping. i am quite disappointed I ordered this for my office. I heard great things for years. I guess their heyday is over
