Now the best Chinese food in town!!! Their vegetarian/vegan selections are truly vegetarian and vegan unlike their local competition. Much cheaper, food is fantastic and employees are such a delight to deal with!!! Want something prepared you don't see, ask and they'll be happy to hook you up.
Great service and hot fresh food . I normally don't write many good reviews but after reading the poor reviews I was a little nervous to order food. I was greeted by a very nice young man named Eric. He helped make sure my family order was hot and fresh. Just like anyone else I have had my share of poor service or not so fresh food, but that was not the case today. Thanks Eric for making my order perfect! :)
Very good employees, definitely know how to take care of their customers. Always friendly and helpful. Food as fresh as you could ask for and a good portion to leave you satisfied. Definitely the best Panda I've had.

Was craving some panda and so happy we choose this location over others on our route. Relatively easy to get to off the highway, even for us traveling that aren't familiar with the area. Social distancing was in full effect, as well as hand sanitizer easily accessible. Silvia took care of my order and was beyond excellent in her customer service and executed my requests promptly. She definitely represents the restaurant by her great professionalism, great attitude and effort in ensuring satisfaction. Would definitely recommend this place as well as give Ms. Silvia a raise!! 😉

I love Panda. Today I had the steak and peppers with the sesame chicken over fried rice. The steak is always tender and delicious. Pomegranate juice for the win. The staff was super chill and provided great service.

Long line at the drive-thru, popular place. The line moved very slowly. Once we ordered we did get our food quickly. 2 entree, mushroom chicken, Beijing beef, chow mien. Food was fresh. A few chewy pieces of beef, but otherwise enjoyed the meal.

Panda express in general keeps getting less and less authentic by the day. They're becoming more and more just another fast food drive thru chain. No longer offer fresh and hot sweet and sour sauce. And now no longer have the legitimate chop sticks with squared edges and round tips that you break apart. They're now fully rounded chop sticks that you can't even hold in your hands to use properly.
Always friendly staff. Good food but I wish they'd remember to put teriyaki sauce on the teriyaki chicken or give a few packets. The last 3 times I've gone they didn't give any sauces for it and the chicken was dry but my dog was happy since he got some chicken instead🤷♀️

2024: Once again paid extra for honey walnut shrimp and the container wasn't full. The chowmein tasted old and lacking flavor. Bejing beef over cooked and chewy. 2023: Drive thru, Got two 2-item plates, got home they only gave me 1 item on one of my plates. It also looks like not full portion sizes.

Was on my lunch. Lights on, "drive through open" sign on. No one answer the drive through so I pull up to the window. Saw an employee walk by, did not acknowledge me. Waited several minutes longer and no one came up. Called the number no answer. Then someone from the back turns off the lights. No hours posted but open sign was on. I would have been ok if someone came and said they are closed but to just ignore a customer is just beyond rude
Worst customer service. I was told it would be a 7 minute wait for orange chicken. I agreed. 15 minutes later I went inside to check on the order and was told they were still waiting on the same thing. 10 more minutes and they still didn't have my order ready. I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was not there and they could not give me a number to contact her. It finally took over 35 minutes to get my order. The employees that were there were more concerned with cleaning up to go home than filling my order. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
I love panda! But...... this new location need some kinks worked out. Everything I've ordered is dry dry dry!. Hopefully this gets fixed soon. Update 11/29/21 (a year later) This place still needs work! Understaffed....not their fault. (People don't want to work) Food is mediocre at best. Never have anything ready. Third time in a row almost out of everything. Then wait time is 20 mins!!! In the middle of the day!! Just take out your drive thru it's useless! This time wait time was 5 mins for orange chicken. They told me to pull around and park. I then waited 15 mins! Before I had to go in and show them my receipt. Seriously??!!
This is my second time visiting this Panda Express. Both visits I was very unsatisfied. First visit I went through the drive-thru. Place my order went to the window paid for my order, this is when they tell you to pull in front and they will bring you your order. They brought me an order, after arriving back to work I realized it was not my order. So somebody didn't get their order and probably got mine. My second visit, I placed my order in the Drive-Thru went to the window and paid for my order. As like the first time they asked you to pull in front and they will bring you your order. This time I'm waiting for 20 minutes, tried calling but of course it goes to a corporate recording, I had to exit my vehicle and go get my food myself. My bag was just sitting there while five employees walked right by it. What's the purpose of a drive-thru? Obviously I will not be returning.
I ordered a two entree plate for Beijing beef and white rice with extra soy sauce. The person taking my order apparently heard "large size entree of Beijing beef on the side". She took my payment without reading me back my order (she didn't say anything before grabbing the card). When I got my receipt back, I told her I just wanted extra soy sauce and not the large entree. She said "that's what you ordered". She got the manager who said they can't give me my money back because they already took my payment. She did offer a free meal for the next time, but the principle of the matter is they messed up my order and blamed me, and didn't just give me money back. Weird management. No wonder it has low ratings.
Ordered online 45 minutes ahead, never order on line they don't make until you get there. I waited 45 minutes after order time. They made half my order and it sat out. I had them redo all so my food was not cold. I feel bad that they do not staff appropriately, one person can not handle online orders and in person ordering. 3 people were cooking the whole time I waited and they were constantly running out. The young girl handled it well but not fair for them to deal with all the angry and frustrated customers.
Lady serving gave small spoonful that didn't fill the plate. Other server were giving much bigger potions. Not the first time we were treated like this at the Ripon Panda. Prices gone up while serving size doesn't fill plate. I will drive to Manteca done with being treated like this in Ripon.
Went through the drive thru and ordered orange chicken, string bean chicken and bejing beef. The consistency of the sauce of all three items remind me paste. The food is flavorless. Called to report it and they offered to comp my meal which was accepted. I went the following day and although the bowls were full and what appeared to be fresh, the food still tasted the same. I know they are new but they clearly need more time to figure out the kitchen
Went to drive thru and waited 5 minutes to place an order which never happened. There weren't any cars ahead so, I pull up to the window. Still nobody comes. Go inside, see 4 employees, two of which have headsets on,. My daughter still waited another 10 minutes before placing an order. All of the main dishes had been sitting so long they were dried out & took on the look of their next life form. One of the 4 employees was cooking but, in the middle of doing so, decides to pull his phone out, start texting with his gloves on, and returns to cooking with the same gloves on. Oh, and there were two tables of people inside, it was 6:30, and there was no attempt to greet, say thanks for coming in, sorry your order wasn't taken in the drive thru. This dump is consistently inconsistent!! I didn't think it was possible but, there is a business in Ripon that is worse than Ripon Taco Bell.
Critical customer service fail. We tried to visit in Dec 2021 and it's not even that they were rude, they failed to engage with us at all. We walked in and waited. Several employees saw us and looked away in the universal sign for "helping you is not my job". The store was the opposite of busy. There was one customer at the register. There were two more seated at tables already. None in the drive thru. The employee at the register walked away...somewhere? The THREE employees directly in front of us within ten feet all watched her walk away, flicked their eyes to us in silent panic, and then dove into shuffling papers or staring at inert equipment. It's not like clearing my throat and saying "excuse me" would have caused them to notice our group. Our group finished discussing among ourselves what we intended to order. Then I counted the employees I could see from where I was standing, out loud, pointing at each of them. (Rude or reciprocal? I accept your judgement. I was hoping the three employees directly in front of us would be moved to say, "Hi, let me get someone.") I counted SEVEN employees in plain sight. Since at that point no one had even said, "Hey if you come through the drive through, I can take your order", our group decided that we could get much better food at New China anyway. We went to New China and got love-bombed by the one visible staff person (who found time to help cook, take all the orders, and still make customers feel like their presence was not an unexpected catastrophe) and had a delicious meal. If you're out of town, Panda Express can be a good meal, but if you're in Ripon, I highly recommend going to New China.
Almost EVERY single time I go, they mess up at least one of our families orders. The workers are lazy and sloppy, which i mostly blame on the managers for not hiring the right people. Do NOT eat here, hopefully this Panda Express shuts down due to how bad it is
Came up to store (I'm a truck driver) they were card only inside but in the drive thru they are taking cards so I walk to go through the drive thru. They turn me away. So this place doesn't want my money. Avoid this place. They don't know how to get peoples money. I can't even order food. And did this twice today at different times to give then the benefit of the doubt. I love panda express. But this one isn't worth your time
Take out , 2nd time the fried rice was hard and cold ! 2time spoke to manager showed our receipt apple pay she turn her nose up and said no . Ripon has a lousy Panda Express pass, or a sample on their new item on the menu, and they said no because the shrimp was too big wow not going back I drive to Modesto
Wait is terrible on online pickup orders. Good food. Family meals are good deal. They cannot estimate food readiness. I showed up 15 minutes after time estimate and I am still waiting on teriyaki chicken, just like last 3-4 times. Update: most recent order estimated 6:22, after waiting 15 minutes in store they told me at 6:52 (30 minutes after the estimate) it would be another 12 minutes for the teriyaki chicken. Unreal
The first time I went it was brand new and it was a great experience. But my next 2 times I didn't like the service and the girl serving gave such tiny portions almost turned me off so bad I was never going back to Panda Express. Need more training in customer service
ABSOLUTELY WORST PANDA EXPERIENCE EVER!!! One customer was waiting over 30 min for her drive thru meal. They refuse to give me my coin chnage no signs posted. Took my cash just fine. Alexis was rude as can be. Screaming at staff in front of customers. Do not go here.
I always come to this location when I'm in Ripon California. Today I walked over from the truck stop to find the door to the store locked. Drive thru only. Sorry but my semi truck doesn't fit in your drive thru. How about another option. And lastly how about a simple note on the door explaining why we can't come in and get some food. I have to say after this and you discontinuing the black pepper chicken. I don't think I will be back.
I’m not coming back. I tried calling the restaurant and they didn’t answer. They gave me spoiled rice. Terrible dangerous food. That was my 9th and last time eating from this location.

Worse Panda Express I’ve ever been to. After placing an order, I was told there would be a wait for one of the items and was told to wait in the parking lot, which is fine. After waiting 25 minutes, one of the customers that had been ahead of us told me to watch out and check that we received all of my food because she had been waiting for over 45 minutes and was missing four of her items. After waiting for over 45 minutes, I went inside, in which the employee didn’t even start working my order until I handed her my receipt. Terrible, terrible, terrible place to get Chinese food. Would not go back.

The place is dead and they have 2 ppl waiting for food. How? So the manager there and the 2 girls were just going as slow as possible. They were chatting, shrugging and so aloof while we are standing right there in front of them...once they care they decided to help us he proceeds to make my friends food. The portions are already really small already but this was the first time We have ever been served even less. So then when he came to me, halfway through my order he just started talking to the girl employee....so that was rude. Finally he put my little bit of chicken in my plate. He like stood there for like 10 seconds then let us know that the other girl was going to help ring us out. Mind you they have 1 person at the drive through and the rest is empty we are the only ppl in there. So that's fine but she was in the middle of helping the other girl do an online order... And he knew this. why not take the 4min to ring us up and get us out but instead make us wait MORE...so we said "hello can we get some help ringing this out. He turns to us ( I am not sure what his vibe was he was so slow and half asleep) He says "Please be patient" and before my friend was about to say something he said "I have the right to refuse service" So just make us wait more?...he wasn't even doing anything he just left randomly ... We gladly just left because that was wild. He was so rude and slow, look I'm sorry we came in and you have to do your job!!... There was no one there it was so empty... Luckily we left and went to the other Panda on Palendale. A non manager made our plates in less than 5min AND we got about 25% more food...normal portions. She told us that she was surprised they treated us like that since that is a huge no no. She said that's not how we are trained to treat our customers. Even she was shocked. Honestly we think he might have been under the influence because he was just so lethargic, slow and eyes were bloodshot...hopefully he doesn't get into an accident on the job. Regardless, that will be our last time going to that Panda. STAY AWAY THEY ARE RUDE AND GIVE YOU VERY VERY SMALL PORTIONS! I will be writing a letter to Panda because that was so unprofessional I am not sure how people that rude get hired for customer service.
I got 2 plates yesterday (drive through) my plate was horrible I tried the new spicy orange chicken it was so dry and hard to chew & the rice some pieces were soft and others were so dry. My coworker ordered honey sesame chicken, it was dry as well & same issue with the rice it had some dry hard pieces. *No Stars*
Came in at 9:40 am to grab a quick bite as I was on the clock and heading to another job. On Google it specifically states they open at 9:30am . Any business knows that opening time means your ready for customers. They told me I could not get a plate until they were done counting their safe which would take another 15 minutes. Should just open at 10 and not waste hard working peoples time. And the lady that was at work Friday morning is very very unprofessional and rude. I love panda but I'm going to look for alternatives and spend my money where it's appreciated.
As much as I love Panda, this was the worst location yet!!! My food was very cold & noodles were hard. They just got transferred into the bowl, so I figured they were fresh. SO disappointing 😞 😕

Sadly I went to this exact location previously and had the same issue. I assumed it was just an off day. I was so wrong. 10 minute wait for teriyaki chicken lasted over 30 minutes before I walked out without food because it wasnt ready. They prioritize drive through orders because those are tracked by management.
This place is the worst. I can’t eat their food, but have taken my kids to get food there multiple times. The first time, the drive thru was blocked off with cones and the door was locked. It was during business hours and people were eating inside. I saw an employee and what looked to be a manager and asked what was going on. I was told they were closed for maybe 10 more minutes while they worked on a large catering order. Absolutely ridiculous. You have business hours for a reason. If you can’t operate your business at lunch time and fulfill a catering order at the same time, then you shouldn’t take on the catering order. People count on businesses to honor their business hours. I wouldn’t have driven over there had I known they’d be closed. I didn’t want to wait 10 min and have them possibly be out of food, so I went somewhere else. That same situation where the doors are locked during business hours has happened 3 times now. One time we waited the 3 minutes until they opened the doors and got food and the food was not good. Dry and old looking. My son and his dad just went again today and found the doors locked and people eating inside once again. This is an unacceptable way to run a business.
