Carne guisada tacos for breakfast were delish. The dining area is half , catering now takes the other half. They must be doing good they have A whole set up for that. The line at the drive thru creates A bit of A challenge in the parking lot, but give it A minute you can make your way out. A. 8.5. Sorry no pics.

We stopped by the Buda Bill Miller's for a late afternoon lunch. There were 6 of us in our party who were ready to eat. We were quickly greeted, our orders taken, and drink orders filled. The staff was reduced because we arrived outside of normal lunchtime rush, but that did stop the staff from giving us premium service. We ordered turkey sandwiches, chicken tenders, and chopped beef sandwiches. These were all made quickly and tasted good. Definitely, I will be back when we are in the area. I hope that if you visit, your experience is as good as mine.

Here in Buda for some celebration and tried out Bill's. We were not let down. Both of us decided on the #2 combo. Loved it! The sweet tea is really good too.

Best breakfast tacos around. I've gone there as long as I can remember. The salsa is perfect. Tried to copy it dozens of times and can't get it like they do. My favorite fried chicken. Simple, not over seasoned. Bbq is good. The turkey is tender and not overly smokey. Obviously they have a gigantic operation, but they aren't mcdonalds. I always love Bill Miller's!

Great breakfast tacos! Salsa is a tad too hot for me but that’s okay because everyone else loves the heat! Bonus points for regularly and properly sanitizing the tea containers because this is the only place to get iced tea to go that doesn’t have that slightly off taste that comes from improper cleaning. Also, I order the ribs and brisket as a rare special treat for my fur baby and she has a 5 stars look on her face each and every time! Bonus points for consistent friendly service. Great job y’all!

The wife and I stopped here today for lunch. The two people we interacted with blew us away with how lovely and fast they were. Everything was fresh and hot, plus the generous thing they did for us made our day, and we greatly appreciate it!

I don't know if it's new Management, but what ever it is, It's GREAT , food is fresh not dry , condiments are fresh and area is nicely clean and stocked . We put in a big order of 12 dozen breakfast tacos for 6:20am (right after the store opens) to feed the staff of a local school. Bill Millers were completely on top of it. They were ready when I arrived and had one of their team help me load the car. Would definitely recommend!

I went through the drive thru. Everything went smoothly. A bit disappointed they were out of Lemon Meringue pie, but always a good experience.

Beef was tender and flavorful. Pork ribs were tender as well and seasoned just right. Reminded me of family BBQ’s after church on Sunday. Simplistically cooked, not over done. Sides were the best I’ve had at a BBQ joint in quite some time. Absolutely fantastic traditional BBQ for the price.

Shout out to Bill Millers store # 65 in Buda!! They always get my order right. I went to Slaughter Ln, last week and for a reason they charged me and didn’t put all my order in. I called them and their manager took care of it and was very professional. I asked the manager if he could please replaced my order to the restaurant in Buda. I went in today to pick up my order and the manager and staff at this location are the best! Mathew Robert’s, the manager in charged did not question me and took my word! He did called the store in slaughter, but believed me! Thank you Bill Millers -# 65 manager and staff!!

We swing by once a month or so for a quick family meal when I'm not prepared to cook a dinner. It's quick and easy and there's always enough for lunches the next day. I love the extra bread loaves they stuck in the bag. Those freeze well and are a great addition to future dinners.

I went here Tuesday afternoon after work and I was HUNGRY. It was my first time at a Bill Miller location so I asked the cashier what I should get, at her recommendation I got the number 7 combo (two chopped bbq sandwiches served with fries and a large sweet tea) it was so filling! I got a slice of pecan pie all for the price of $12. It was great my only complaint was the sandwiches were salty but the sweet tea Made up for it!!

I like the meat, but the veggies are not so great. Maybe just me, but the mashed potatoes actually tasted BAD. the Green beans have tomato sauce added... which is weird and unnecessary . I like the Spanish rice though 🙂

They messed up on my family combo order and did not put sausage in my bag, only brisket. But luckily made it up when I drove back to get it. I was surprised how delicious the sausage was! Some of the brisket was tender and some had hard pieces in there but overall good.

Bill Miller's has always had my attention during dinner time, however their breakfast 👏🏻 I want to order everyday. Love me some breakfast tacos. I am a big fan of the potato and egg tacos. Simple right, but I have always been picky about potato and eggs because some places won't cook the potatoes fully. Here, rarely has there been any issues, sure some days I can taste more pepper then I'd like, and would wish for some salsa Verde but otherwise great. Bacon and egg, brisket and egg, bean and cheese, all Yum🤌🏻.

The food was great and the service was friendly and helpful. The credit card/debt card wasn't working so the information had to be put in manually but the service was prompt and immediate. There were any brownies available but was offered a slice of pie. Delicious pie! I would recommend this Bill Miller's. The bathroom and dining areas were clean.

Breakfast tacos hit the spot! Only two complaints. First is that you need to double check your order. When they get busy I've had things missing from my order. Second, the drive through line gets ridiculously long! My family has spent as much as a half an hour in the drive through. Once you are in it you are stuck. No way to bail out if it's taking too long!

It was pretty good. Good sides. Brisket was cooked well. Good array of indoor seating. Quick serving drive-through. Breakfast is amazing. My son calls it "man food." Meat, potatoes, hash browns, eggs. Very filling.

I come through the drive thru for tacos 2-3 times a week, since I work across the street. Food is great, service is fast, and the staff is friendly. This location can get a little busy, but they still do pretty well at getting you through the line relatively fast. Would give 5 stars, but they got my order wrong once.

I love the Bill Miller atmosphere, especially since I exclusively use the Drive-Through. The food is just your good old-fashioned vittles with a rather diluted bbq sauce that is okay for people of unrefined pallets. The meat seems rather lean to me, and dangit, when it comes to brisket, i like it with A LOT of fat. However, you can probably get it that way if you ask, but i dont recall if it is on the menu. I have the menu in my truck, but its stuck down behind my seat with my Kyle Busch Nascar mullet-hat since the summertime. I liked the side fixin's too. The beans have a unique way of filling you up faster than you probably intended, and if you dont drink beer, may i suggest the Sweet Tea. The Sweet Tea is my overall favorite thing. I sometimes go there just for the Sweet Tea, but then get the ribs and sausage and beef as I need something to go with the Sweet Tea. It dont take a shine too well when mixed with beer, but that is A-OKAY with me. Being a naturalized Texan, i am obligated to eat BBQ, and for the price, its pretty good. I like the plasticware - (i give the extras to my mom) Here's a Tip for you all: ALWAYS ask for EXTRA Plasticware. They will freely give it away, and with little salt and peppers you can fill your own salt and pepper shakers at home like mom does. I haven't been inside a Bill Miller BBQ place on account of the fact I like to eat the chopped brisket and ribs while im in my truck, heading off to work. Everyone in the drive-through is super nice. Now once they did get my order wrong, as i got some green beans (yuck) instead of the other kind of beans (yum). It's a small thing I suppose, but having to drive around and wait for 20 minutes for all them other people to order while i just consumed my meal kinda made everything a bit of a downer. To make matters worse, one of the green beans slipped out of my container and went down between my door and window. When i rolled my window up, i had a puke-like green slime on my window from the green bean having been smushed so bad. Anyway, that's not on Bill Miller. That one is on me. 4-Stars for Bill Miller! ps..Who actually IS Bill Miller? Was he once called ''WILLIAM MILLER?'' (or Will-Mill) for short? How can I reach him? I'd like to see if he needs the aluminum siding on his house changed out.

I love their breakfast tacos. Their carne guisado tacos are excellent, especially with eggs. Ive had their sausage, not bad. I have no complaints. I wanna try more stuff from their lunch combos. The day I went, I got the chicken combo. It was refreshing not eating the same old thing. The only down side is the road it sits on.

Everything was good except... the griddle cakes weren't griddle cakes. We've gotten them from there before on the weekend and they're made fresh. Not this time. Then the manager said that's what he was trained to do. They prep them and put them in a container. Update: these guys are under staffed but still doing a great job. The food was delicious and they were very friendly.

I've only had the breakfast tacos here and they've always been delicious. They need improvement on the speed of service and customer service.

The restaurant is a little hard to get into. The staff is friendly food was not as good as the San Marcos Bill Miller. Bread was not fresh and chop beef was dry.

The Chicken Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans are a late summer seasonal item. I definitely enjoy when this meal comes out for a few weeks in the year. It is awesome to be able to get an home cooked style meal at a fast food restaurant. ($9 meal plate)

I got the rancher plate with beans, green beans, potato salad, brisket and sausage. The brisket was super tender. Yum! It was all delicious!! It takes longer in drive thru, but the food is still good. Update: 10/22/22 The Dr. Pepper (all fizz and hardly any flavor) and sweet tea (tasted sweet, but like fake sugar 🤢) I ordered were gross. Mashed potatoes weren't great. The meat and coleslaw was good. The steak fries were good, too 😋 The last time I come here again.

I wish they were more generous with the salsas, we got 10 tacos and asked for salsa and was only given 1 half filled small one. It's been a while since my last visit. I ordered the poor boy meal. The poor boy was smaller, meat was tender. The brownies were thinner and not as good as before. The fried chicken was the same. Tea was great. Prices were about the same, they just made portions smaller.

Whenever I want Bill Millers, I always go to the one in Buda, TX. The chicken sandwich is almost always amazing...BUT...the online ordering system is horrible. And whoever gets assigned the order at the store needs to be taught how to read the entire order. Pretty much every single visit, something is left out of my order. I ask for lots of mayo...rarely get any. Today I ordered 4 jalapenos. Guess what? No jalapenos. I order when I leave my house on my way to work (about 35 mins away) and since I am on my way to work, I go through the drive-through. Don't check my order (my fault I guess) until I get to work. I've sent emails and it takes days to get a response and it's always "we'll get with the store...". I figured I'd give it one more try today. Nope. Fail. No jalapenos, the fries are cold, and the sandwich is barely warm. I DID get a lot of mayo this time so...yay? Bill Millers used to be really good. I have lots of memories from my childhood, stopping to get fried chicken after church. They've gone downhill. I'm thinking today's visit will be my last, sadly.

I ordered chopped sandwiches and they used to put plenty of pickles and onions. Now I am lucky to get one pickle or one onion. This was to go order so I asked for a small container to get some hot sauce. The young girl didn't want to give me one.

Went thru Drive thru on Saturday Oct 20th ordered unsweet tea , told they did not have any, but they had sweet tea ??? I asked for a breakfast taco , as menu stated that some breakfast tacos were served all day . Sign inside states it too. I was told that they never serve breakfast tacos except breakfast. I said never mind and drove away with out ordering.

Good breakfast tacos but everything else you could easily make better at home. The sweat tea is the only great thing there but if you want a refill you will wait at the counter until the line of people placing there order are done to get a refill. I would have rather use the $32 I spent here to buy gas and light myself on fire than come back to this barf stain the dares to call itself Texas bbq...nice atmosphere though

Brisket was decent, chicken was horribly overcooked, sausage was average at best. This was my first and last time eating at Bill Millers. Staff was nice though. Oh, and I just tried my sons chicken strips that he didn’t eat, and they were tolerable, but if you want good strips I’d go somewhere else.

Ordered brisket sandwich on poppy seed bread combo. Also ordered a single serving of coleslaw. Sandwich was terrible! There was more fat on the brisket then meat. I could hardly eat it and the coleslaw had no seasoning in it. It tasted like a container of shredded coleslaw! What a waste of 11$! Miller’s...do better!!

First time trying the place…. I ordered the Rodeo plate. Brisket has no flavor, none. Drowned it in their bbq sauce which is not horrible but 3 bites was all I could do. The chicken was great! I ate it all up! Good flavor! The sausage was on point! I couldn’t chew through the skin though but I peeled it off to eat it. One bite of beans…nope. One bite of Mac… nope. One bite of coleslaw…wth! Nope! Potato salad was not horrible just meh. Fries…meh. Had 3. Pecan pie…wouldn’t know, I ordered it but didn’t get it. Not going back for $3. Actually I feel I wasted $20 tonight but now I know.

Hi. I would like to say that we love this Bill Miller as we live in Buda but there have been a few instances including this morning where the food was very lacking. I ordered a box of 12 tacos and it is perfectly obvious the all of the tortillas on our tacos are at least a day old. They are hard and just fall apart when you bite into them. I should say I ordered at 6:45 am. I will say 90 to 95% of the time they are not like this but it just bothers me when you pay $30 for tacos, that they are just trying to get rid of the old food from the day before. We probably should have gone a little later in the morning, maybe they would have been out of the old ones.

We order dinners for take out, I have health problems that keep me from going inside. I can only comment on take out. I really like the BBQ sauce when they give it to you. I love the coleslaw, the dressing is so good. However it seems like it's the luck of the draw to get it on the nicely shredded cabbage. Oh, the scraps called meat was a surprise on one occasion! Hope this review helps others, Don't know if I want to take a chance anymore. Don't get pickles and onions on the side anymore, guess that's extra, heads up you have to ask for them! Pay close attention to your order when they read it back to you at the window.

I ordered a carne guisada taco that had one piece of meat and a bunch of stringy pieces. I also ordered a chicken sandwich combo, it came with about 10 fries total and the size of the piece of chicken on the sandwich was about half the size they used to be at Bill Miller's. My combo looked like a kid's meal at best, I get it's hard times, inflation, etc. But MAN, just charge me a little more and give me normal portions, the only thing I bought that was normal size was my I've tea You have REALLY slipped Bill Miller's, I'm HIGHLY disappointed ☹️

Drive thru service was horrible ordered po boy meal and requested onions and pickles on the side and tea for drink and chicken sandwich. Two cars in front of me took about 20 minutes in line to complete order by the time I got there they told me it would be about 4 minutes and to pull over to the side along with the two cars behind me. Another 15 minutes later they brought my order they forgot the onions and pickles and chicken sandwich was on bun only no pickles as requested. Some minor things are acceptable. The irritating thing is the wait in line this customer waited in line that long and not asked to move to the side but made us wait almost as long. I don't know if the long wait is worth the average food. The staff seemed flustered somewhat

I've had good expreieances before with the Buda store but tonights expreiance is unacceptable. ordered a 15 peice fried chicken for the family waited 20 minutes and got 15 chicken strips instead. Service here has been ok over the last two years... The BBQ at BIll miller's is already mediocer... I hope the chicken isnt going the same direction. Oh and what your employee called mashed potatoes, your menu calls Hashbrowns... if your going to give me chicken stirips, at least give me gravy and rolls but dont charge me for the 15 peice fried chicken meal!

Just left the drive thru today. Order taker was quick and friendly. Once i got to the window was when the experience was ruined. The young girl who cashed me out was ready to leave attitude was horrible i guess she’s ready to go do some black friday shopping or something. Drove 10 miles to get Bill Millers family meal: 1.5 lbs brisket a quart of pinto beans, quart of mac n cheese and a quart of mashed potatoes. How is this the size gravy you get in a family meal for a QUART of potatoes. 6oz of gravy is- almost the same size as a portion of coleslaw. You provide 16 oz of bbq sauce which I don’t need. Complete waste of money and my time. And you don’t even have the option to add more gravy when ordering on your website. Another business that’s gone downhill. Guess I’ll give my kids the gravy and eat my potatoes dry. Smh Will not come back.

Ordered 4 meals for the family through the drive thru. We live 30 min away in lockhart and when we got home we were missing a meal for one of our kids. Also one of the drinks were wrong. We called them up and spoke to a manager who said we would have to drive all the way back to get a meal or a refund. They could not refund over the phone. The manager told me he was told they forgot to give it to us. This is not the first time this has happened with this location. This will be the last time as we will not be back.

I ordered BBQ Chicken because I wanted to eat it with the onions on the cold bar. When I went to the cold bar there were no onions. When I asked an employee he replied we have no onions today. Totally unacceptable.

Do not come here if you are in a rush.. came here twice in 1 day. Breakfast- -waited in line for 25 minutes only to drive off and have someone elses order. Came back and went inside to have it corrected😡 Lunch- -ordered gallon of mac n cheese and gallon of potato salad. I was told the mac n cheese would take 8 minutes. I get to the window 15 minutes later and its still not ready. They have me pull up to wait. 15 additional minutes later i go back thru the drive thru and its still not ready.. 🤬 i had to wait 7 more minutes at the window to finally be on my way. Ridiculous!! And unacceptable!!

Normally service is decent, but takes 30 minutes for 3 pancakes is ridiculous. Not to mention the customers behind me got there pancakes before I did. Manager on duty didn't care or even acknowledge the issue.

Phone Order, paid immediately on their link, arrived 15 minutes later and they still hadn't started my order. An employee said they would start my order now and will be ready in 5 minutes. I left to run an errand and came back and they still hadn't started to fill my order, it has now been 25 minutes since I ordered and paid. Terrible customer service and attention to detail, they didn't even attempt to make amends. The order was not correct when I got home and the napkins looked like someone used 🙃 them, crumpled up in a wad.

I ordered a two piece fried chicken with Mac and cheese and it was horrible. I feel like they ripped me off. The chicken had no seasoning and the skin was falling off the meat. That means you're not cooking the chicken well done. The Mac isn't even made with real cheese

In an area full of great barbecue, there is no reason to stop at Bill Millers. I had ribs and brisket. There was little to no smoke flavor, and the meat itself had very little flavor. The sauce, luckily served on the side, was just fancy ketchup that was way too sweet. Let's face it, if your meat need sauce like that, its probably not very good. Just drive in any direction for about a mile, and you'll probably find so e good barbecue.

Absolute terrible customer service. Aubrey does not need to working around people. She has the worst attitude about her job. I asked if more coffee was to be made. Several minutes later I asked again for coffee and her response was “I already told them, I don’t know what to tell you.” She the shrugged her should and walked away.

CALLING OUT HORRIBLE OWNERSHIP. Writing this review while I sit in the drive through at 5:30pm on a Saturday. I’ve been in line for 20 minutes so far and only seen 2 cars actually place orders ahead of me. Owners/Management, what’s the excuse for making customers wait over 45 minutes through your drive through? Worst experience I’ve ever had and your food is not good enough for the wait. What’s the excuse here? UPDATE: Rather than avoiding the issue publicly and asking me to fill out a survey online, let’s answer my question publicly below. I am not filling out your form so you can avoid the issue. Your store was not staffed properly and you lost at least 50 customers who left the drive through. Your employees are not supported at all at this store. What’s the answer?

Trash place. I regret not reading reviews ahead of time. The worst bill miller I have been to. Gave them more than one try. I placed an online order and called as soon as I got there letting them know I was there. They said to Park and they'd be out. I waited 15 minutes so I call again and they said chicken is barely cooking supposedly. And an additional 7 min wait. I then received a cancelation notification about my order. They canceled my order. I had arrived at 830 they close at nine. All employees closing looked through the window at us laughing. Waited a total of 35 minutes and no food. Very upsetting and very unprofessional. Will not go back here ever again. Don't recommend.

I took my family of five here because someone told us to try some BBQ while we are in Texas. Big mistake. This is the ABSOLUTE worst restaurant that I have ever ate at! I would give it negative five stars if I could. The food was disgusting. My wife, daughter, and I couldn't even finish anything. My daughter couldn't even eat her French fries. Not only that, the place is dirty. The first high chair I grabbed was broken, the next two looked like they hadn't been cleaned since 1982. After I got them unstuck from each other, I scrubbed them down as best as I could. (You're welcome Mr. Miller! They're good for another 37 years!) Do yourself a favor and wait until this place eventually goes out of business and something else occupies the building before you stop here to eat.

I just waited OVER 30 minutes for the wrong order at drive thru. When I went inside and spoke with the assistant manager,Alex, he was insistent that this was what I ordered. After I waited for the correct order to be given, to my surprise, there was no compensation for the length of time or the wrong order because he said they made the correct order. Great manager skills by telling the customer they are wrong. After I expressed my displeasure at their hospitality. He brushed me off and left. Horrible service. Will not want to give this location my business anymore.

My wife and I had been traveling back home and wanted good ole Bill Miller before we were no longer in the area. But after this last stop we have decided that BM will never be a place we want to visit again. We ordered in the drive thru, had to repeat my order 6 or 7 times and somehow they still got the order wrong and even repeated it bk to me and still it was wrong. Besides foor was cold gravy was bland, my wife was looking forward to her green beans and as we got on the toll way she said this is not green beans. It was freaking regular beans, absolutely the last time I will over pay for something that was once a great place to eat.

Ordered a few tacos in drive thru... the order was repeated incorrectly so I corrected the issue...then it was confirmed 3 more times before pulling to window. At window order was repeated incorrectly and I again corrected. The girl handed my order to another employee and told her what to add then charged me extra. Got down the road and it was still wrong and brisket was like Jerky and not edible. Some major communication and comprehension issue at this location...check your orders.

This will be the last time I ever go to this place. I ordered 2 number 4s which is the tender meal with fries gravy a roll and a drink. First thing is I used to get this all the time up in Austin and you got a much bigger container of food and now you get 4 tiny tenders, we counted 6 fries each and instead of the roll that’s on the menu with the picture is a sliver of bread. The containers of gravy were not even close to full and those are smaller now as well. We basically paid over $20 for 2 kids meals except it probably wouldn’t even fill up a kid. If you want people to come back give them enough food to fill them up. Absolutely ridiculous how small y’all’s portions have become.

We order delivery every Sunday morning. The food is always delicious however something is always wrong. I'll order s Dr Pepper and they send coke... The only thing zic want is a Dr. PEPPER so you can imagine the disappointment... it does no good to call. Just want to express how disappointing it is.

Had a catered meal today, when did a BBQ place start using instant mashed potatoes?? The beans and ham where fine but was all very disappointing. No I'm not going to go to your website... you need to just do better with a 3.9 rating on here... Seriously!! Not coming back... would rather driver 40 min for blacks bbq

Horrible! I waited over 35 minutes for my order to be wrong. No jalapeños were included which were part of my meal, barely any ice so my tea was hot, I asked for extra pickles and onions and I didn’t get any, the brisket was mainly fat, the basket of fries was half full, My ranchers plate only came with 2 sides vs 3. The hash browns tasted stale and nasty. 4th post today with a one star rating…something is going on!

I ordered food way before several people to have to wait 30+ minutes. Your service has gone to $***. And you wonder why you keep getting sued. Taking my business elsewhere after 40+ years of coming here.

3/22/2025 Poorboy plus guess plus is the fat. I give up. When you order food and you order with and without ingredients there is a reason, now heading to urgent care because they put ingredients causes extreme allergic reaction. "I'm sorry nothing we can do" with the extra buck to go to taco clem going forward. I see cheese, already feel the hives. 3/16/25 Flip side ordered tacos for someone else. The 1 star is because the coleslaw happens to be my favorite BUT, I payed money for a chopped beef sandwich , not a smear, I understand we all are feeling the economy, but if I pay for an item I expect to get what I payed for. In a community, you try to keep everyone alive in hard times. The meat on a bun we were were given was equivalent to one slice of meat sliced on the thinnest for a regular bun. I just bought 25 dollar meal for some expensive buns.👎 I will remember this when I think about helping my town and go where they give me what I payed for. Done with Bill Miller.

Trash ! horrible! Already feeling sick after just leaving. the manager was rude AF it took 30 min for sandwiches The buns were hard as a rock the chicken sandwich wasn’t even fully coated it was dry and hard as a rock they even served us raw fries this place is a joke and a waist of money! I could’ve gotten better food from the dumpster!

This is the second time this has happened... Was told there wasn't enough to make a 10 piece chicken and was asked to wait for more chicken. When we got home everything was very dry except for the ONE piece that we waited on. We live locally but I think we will just drive to Kyle for Chicken as buda has been disappointing. The Tea was good but not enough to redeem the rating.
