A must-visit spot for lamb. Spectacular. We discovered it this past August, and it's already become a "repeat" destination. We were back in January. The wine list is superb. Today we enjoyed Barona.

The roast lamb was perfectly cooked. Generous portions and friendly service. The waiters offer suggestions on portion sizes to avoid ordering more than necessary, which is much appreciated. A very varied wine list.

Spectacular restaurant in every way. The service was excellent and the staff were incredibly friendly. The roast was exquisite. Very welcoming. The owners are super nice. They give great recommendations on what to eat. The service was quick. We're the couple from Granada who asked about the car charger. Thank you so much for that thoughtful touch. Best regards. And we'll see you next time we're in the area.

We'll be back very soon. The best lamb we've ever eaten. Wonderful people, fabulous atmosphere, and spectacular wines, like the region itself.

The best suckling lamb I've ever had! The skin was crispy, the broth had an unbeatable flavor, and even the tougher parts were incredibly juicy inside—it practically melted in my mouth. The Burgos black pudding was equally special. We came all the way from Madrid to eat here and we'll be back, so you can imagine how worthwhile it was. Cheers!

We really enjoyed it. We had some pieces of blood sausage as a starter, followed by a lamb forequarter. It was delicious and cooked to perfection. Extensive wine list.

The best roast lamb you can eat in Burgos. We've been there several times and will return; it never disappoints. The service is excellent, very friendly and helpful.

A temple of roasted suckling lamb in the village of Roa, part of Ribera del Duero wine country. Book in advance if you want to enjoy this meat feast as it is very popular with locals and tourists. The lamb is very tender and juicy with a delicate flavour while the skin has a wonderful crackling. Very limited food options besides lamb. Appropriate wine list. Service is on the dry side since they deal with a significant volume of customers.

Super juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and delicious suckling lamb. We ordered the set menu for two and a separate cheese and black pudding platter, which was spectacular. It's not particularly expensive; it offers good value for money. Excellent service and incredibly friendly staff. 100% recommended. The house wine was also very good, by the way.

This is our second time visiting this legendary grill. For me, it's the best roast suckling lamb you can eat in Castile. The garlic prawns and Burgos black pudding were also excellent. To finish, we had a puff pastry tart for a truly perfect meal. The staff is very friendly and professional. We'll definitely be back a third time, and hopefully many more.

I have been in Spain and France for 2 weeks. This is my last day and luckily the best meal I've had. I have eaten "Lechado" in Santander and Madrid, and by far the best one. The service is amazing, however I came a Tuesday at noon and was not very crowded. You have to try the Whiskey Cake, it's unique.

Four of us went for lunch on a Saturday. The food was very good; the starters were excellent, and the roast lamb was delicious. I'm giving it four stars because several of the waiters were quite unpleasant. They worked at a very fast pace, and the service wasn't what we expected. They had long faces and, in some cases, looked annoyed when we asked for salt, water, etc. Paying €80-90 per person, we expected better service. These are high prices, and service is a fundamental part of the experience, not just the food.

A landmark in the Ribera del Duero region, in an unbeatable location. They offer the best roast suckling lamb in Burgos and a very tasty and unique black pudding. The staff's excellent service, friendliness, and attentiveness make you feel right at home. The price is perhaps a little high. The only downside is that parking nearby is difficult.

Expectations were five stars, but the reality was a generous three. I went on a recommendation and found a restaurant that's incredibly pretentious. The roast lamb was acceptable, but nothing to write home about, and the table was near a window, as I requested, but upstairs (less inviting than downstairs) next to a huge table that generated an enormous amount of noise, which spoiled the lunch (these things should be mentioned). It was overpriced, and the wine list was prohibitively expensive. In short, I don't know.

The day I went it wasn't a 5-star restaurant by any means; the lamb was just average, much better than the lamb from the shepherd in Aranda. Desserts were expensive and nothing special. Starters were average. Wine was expensive; I imagine Arzuaga serves it to himself at the restaurant for free, and he's 10 kilometers away, so it's an extra 12 euros per bottle.

We had reserved a table for 2:30 p.m. We arrived at 2:15 p.m. (the place was empty of diners) and were told it was early and we could go get a drink at a nearby bar. They were just starting to bring in the lamb, which was later served at 2:45 p.m., so it was not fully cooked (in my opinion) and the skin was uncooked. The wine and dessert were acceptable. The price was high (€50 average).
