Aromas On Oak Roanoke Reviews
Aromas on Oak is our go to coffee shop! The atmosphere and welcoming environment is what makes it our favorite. The coffee and food is amazing as well, but finding a place that I can bring my kids to has been a game changer. So much gratitude to the owner for creating such a kid friendly place with the toys and hidden goblin. Highly recommend!!
Was working nearby and wanted to check out this place I'd never been before. The decor was so adorable, the greens were soothing and there seemed to be plenty of sitting space for either some solo remote work or comfy couches for a catch-up. The service was great! Kind people and the espresso itself was delicious. I can't wait to go back to try more from the menu. Wish I could've hung out for longer. Will definitely bring a friend with me next time.
If you need a superior alternative to Starbucks, I recommend this place hands down. Everything is better, the food, the drinks, the atmosphere. They have Wi-Fi, a cozy interior, and a bunch of tables, outlets, and comfortable chairs. A great place to do work or school.
Absolutely love this place! Tried the Tiramisu Latte at Aromas on Oak — it was incredibly delicious, perfectly balanced, and aromatic. The staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Definitely coming back and highly recommend it!
The coffee is amazing. I love that they do not make their drink overwhelmingly sweet. They are just right and the espresso is so smooth! The service was wonderful. I felt very welcomed by the staff. The environment is cozy and chill, with an added fresh feeling assisted by the greenery, the moody, floral walls, and emerald and camel accented furniture. 😍 Will definitely come back when I am on this side of town again. ✨
1st time coming to this very cute coffee shop! Im so stoked that i can come here now! The place is very nicely decorated! Very clean! Very welcoming! My gingerbread latte was so good! My muffin was warm and good as-well! I love everything about this place! The staff is so nice! The owners was very welcoming when we walked in. I give this place 10/10 😊 cant wait for my sister in law to come visit from out of town to take her 😃
If you’re picky about the taste of your coffee then this is the place for you. My go to drink is a Cortado and most coffee shops I order at serve up a sour under extracted shot of espresso but Aromas has their stuff dialed in. I’ve ordered on two different occasions and both times have been on point! Their blend of espresso has some really nice chocolate undertones and just tastes full and rich. They have a huge menu of drinks and even some yummy sounding seasonal ones but I just like mine a little more simple. The service has been great too. The staff is happy to see customers when they walk in and actually greet you and smile! I know that sounds silly but not all coffee shops check that box sadly. The vibe is pretty good but feels a little too quiet for me personally. I’m sure a lot of people love working or studying with it being so quiet but I tend to like it a little more lively where you can have a conversation without you feeling like the entire place is listening. There is plenty of seating and even some outdoors for those rare nice weather days in Texas.
I found out about this place through Instagram. It’s so cute, and has a lot of seating for its size. They also have outdoor seating for when it’s warmer out. I tried the hot chai tea latte and it was tasty. There is only street parking but it’s free. The bathroom and shop was overall clean! Staff was kind!
I was recommended this place by a friend and absolutely loved it. The coffee was amazing, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. Inside is decorated in such a way that you feel like you're outside and it's peaceful. I sat outside in the sun and relaxed for a while. They have a free library inside, where you can borrow books or add your old ones. I will definitely be going back.
I got the Teddy Bear Latte and it was so good, the honey came through nicely! The location has plenty of seating and good atmosphere.
The best spot for a chai latte. I’ve tried so many spots in the DFW area and they win! It’s slightly spicy and doesn’t taste like that yucky artificial vanilla. The inside has a nice vibe and the employees are always friendly. Plus they always have cool little events going on.
My husband and I tried this place on a whim tonight. The ambience is coffee house perfect with comfy chairs, a comfy couch, booths, and even a little dollhouse/coffee maker/cashier toy setup for the kiddos. The barista was incredibly kind and personable, and the owner was so genuine. We told our sitter and family all about it and will be back for sure. Their hot chocolate was the best hot chocolate I’ve had at a coffee shop.
I have been here twice! Both time delicious drinks and friendly staff! This is a great place to study, hang out with some friends, or just grab coffee before work.
Fantastic coffee with some unique specialty drinks. My favorites so far of these have been the Tiramisu Latte, Coco-caramel latte (think liquid Samosa Girl Scout cookie, and their Magic Lemonade. They are very supportive of the local community. They sell area small business food items and even some local charming crafts. For example, they sell bagels from Dan's Bagels, Kolaches from Donut Paradise, and baked goods from Everett & Elaine. Currently, they are selling whimsical crochet keychains from a local high school girl. On top of all of that they hold a monthly fundraiser for some of the smaller not as well known local charities. They also have a local business of the week they support with promotion on their socials and in store. Staff wise they are all really cool, laid back, friendly, and extra sure that you love what you ordered. If they didn't get it quite to your taste they will happily remake it for you. The atmosphere is like a welcoming butterfly or fairy garden. There is a lot of greenery. As well as a large floral wall mural that was painted by a local artist. They occasionally have live music as well.

Omg went to this place with my bff for our Christmas present exchange and of course coffee. 😊 First off it’s absolutely adorable!! Lush and fresh with all the plants and Christmas decorations and wallpaper! I mean the interior designer did a great job! lol Second the service was friendly and great! The baristas took our orders promptly and service was awesome! Lastly; the toffee latte was A+ and loved! Will be back!
Love the atmosphere and the coffee! Friendly knowledgeable staff. Kid friendly, comfortable seating options, inside or out. Will visit everyone I am in town. Prices comparable to other higher end coffee shops. I tend to stick to a plain latte but did try their tiramasu latte which was excellent, not too sweet. Also lots of non-dairy options at no additional price. A. Couple of glutan-free treats to choose from too.
Clean, friendly, good options if you’re a tea drinker as well. Housemade chai and loose leaf teas. Excellent London Fog. You can make the drinks less sweet, if that’s your preference, without sacrificing flavor. They also have a fun kids’ menu and really good pastries from local bakers.

Amazing atmosphere!! This shop is floral/plant themed. There is also a cute shelf for free books to donate/trade. The staff is also super friendly and gives great recommendations. The coffee tastes good, although I wish the syrups were a tad bit stronger. Lots of comfy places to sit too! I highly recommend checking this place out, it’s a hidden gem.

Very good coffee. Got the crème brûlée latte. Very tasty. My only issue is that is was 9 for the smaller size . Good service too and a great little spot with comfortable chairs
A little bit busy on the weekend. People love it here and it’s understandable! Coffee and pastry are great and it’s a low key setting. Not too loud but it can be packed at times. They have a massive seating area outside though.

Just okay. Matcha was $8 for the most basic latte… also that was not the price the menu said. They do have gluten free pastries which is a huge plus!!!! The place is very cute. I will say I went in on a weekday and it was so loud in there. Like tons of people having meetings, people on the the phone, and even little kids playing. I much prefer a quieter coffee shop personally, but if you’re looking for a place that suits meeting with others this is a good find!
