Aladdins Natural Eatery Rochester Reviews
Such a cozy, yet open little space! The unique staircase leads to a second floor where seating is split into three sections for what feels like open air seating in the middle of winter. The food is fantastic and the service is wonderful! This is a must visit!
I just ordered take out donuts hard to rate the service or atmosphere but I rec6my food as soon as I walked in and the rest was clean and inviting. I ordered the Mediterranean rice with chicken. It was excellent plus I have more than half of my food left over for lunch tomorrow.
Always a good meal here - but be sure to save room for dessert: the walnut baklava is the best way to end a meal!
One of my all time favorites!! I’ve been dining here for several years!!! ALWAYSS fresh and hot!!! You can never go wrong with the chicklaki , beef kebab pita roll, the limon pasta, and pignolia!! I love their gazpacho (summer seasonal dish) and I love the blueberry lemon cake omgggg to die for!!!
I love the place. The interior, upper patio. Very cozy and can be a nice place for a romantic evening.🥰❤️. The food is great and healthy. My friend had the cheese ravioli with chicken. I had the Gyro salad. You can celebrate your anniversary, birthday, practically any kind of a special event you desire. Awesome! 😎👍 The hostess is very helpful.
Came here on a Wednesday night with colleagues. We were promptly seated and alerted our server to several food allergies of our party. There were no issues with finding food on the menu for people with gluten, peanut, and other allergies. The portion sizes were very generous and the prices amazingly reasonable. The meals were flavorful and savory. We recommend the baba! Hopefully in the future the kofta can be made gluten free too!
An excellent Mediterranean restaurant. I went for the rice platter with vegetables, it's really a huge platter and the food was excellent. We also tried The baklava there and it was really great and authentic baklava. The people in the restaurant are super nice and friendly, definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a good Mediterranean restaurant in the town with good vegetarian options.

We had lunch upstairs on a Saturday. It was quiet and pleasant, the lady who attended to us was very nice. We ordered a vegetable combo (baba, dolmades, tourlou (?), and spanakopita for appetizer. That was delicious and just the right size for 2. We ordered the grilled chicklitza & tenderloin for mains which came with huge salads each (pictured). These were fine but a bit dry for me. For dessert we had pistachio & walnut baklava and a carrot cake. The baklavas were the best I’ve had in Rochester, the carrot cake was solid but nothing to write home about. We would definitely come back for the appetizers & baklava.
Love this place! Great service with a really kind staff. Sitting on the balcony on a nice day have the city noise below you and plenty of opportunity to watch interesting people. Food is well prepared and comes out in a timely fashion. Portion sizes are great and the prices are more than fair!
I cannot estimate how good it is because I don’t have many experience for Mediterranean food. I ordered humus and plate menu. Humus was okay. For the plate menu there was one stick of beef and plenty of salad. I feel I ordered salad 🤣

I ordered a falafel pita and dolma. The dolma were soggy and the grapes leaves did not taste fresh. The falafel balls themselves were pretty good, nothing crazy, and probably were the only good part of the meal. The tiny side of tzatziki too was pretty good. But there was way too much lettuce and maybe 3-4 giant chunks of cucumber and tomato inside the pita. Not worth the price.
Server was super nice and helpful (5 stars for her) the restaurant was ok, apparently they've been battling bees so we sat inside. There were some flys inside that was unfortunate. Food was hit and miss. Flavors were ok but cut sizes were ridiculous. Cucumber cut in 3rds and big ol chunks of tomato. I had figured the tuna pita was going to run dry so I asked for extra mayo. The mayo came on the side in a ramekin instead of mixed in. The pita didnt have sprouts like it was listed and i had the butt end of the lettuce and butt of the cucumber. (Be careful on the olives I wasnt told they weren't pitted and almost chipped a tooth) I don't see myself excited to go back.
We went to Aladdin’s last night for dinner and the entire experience was awful. It took our waiter fifteen minutes to welcome us and take our drink order. I should have known then that was our sign…
Food was good but they claim to be a Mediterranean eatery but they use canola oil instead. I have already verified this with their kitchen a while back and am amazed at the lack of olive oil in their entire restaurant! This is something that Gordon Ramsey would have a blast with…
I came for lunch. Ordered the lentil soup and the “roasted” veggie appetizer that came with a side of pita. I watched an ant walk from underneath my pita and told the owner and instead of resolving the matter he said repeatedly that it was impossible…. After telling him it was quite possible because I watched this ant mossy on out of my pita and he said there is no way. I left because some how he became more angry than I was 🤷🏽♀️
Idk what this is but it’s not tabbouleh. Full of parsley stalks ( the dirt was a nice touch, too ), tasteless dressing and those 2” hunks of cucumber and tomato = glad I didn’t order 3, as originally planned. Also comforting to note that when other reviewers have a bad experience, their pat response is “Your concerns are noted. We hope you try us again.” The correct answer is “Please contact us for a refund and an example of how the dish SHOULD have been presented to you.” “We don’t care” vibes all over this place. Will keep looking for quality Middle Eastern in Rochester……. *NOTES re: RESTAURANT RESPONSE BELOW: 1. I know what ingredients tabbouleh contains. What I got from your establishment MAY have contained trace pepper and mint ( which is not grainy lol ) by it also contained dirt/sand. 2. The response smacks of deflection, rather than truly caring about the customer. 3. It’s irrelevant if or who else complained. My dish was garbage. 4. Your shameful response was exactly what I expected, given what I read concerning others failing reviews for your business, which is why I won’t be back.
