Applebee's

Looking at all the other 1-2 star reviews that are growing for this place, I wanted to add our own. We've been here a few times before with no issues, but our last visit wasn't so great. When we arrived, the manager informed us that we had to wait for the server to get on shift before he could seat us (maybe too much info, but it raised a red flag for me). After we were seated, it took another 5-10 minutes to get our drink orders in. It took another 10 minutes for our drinks to show up. The server didn't have my Pepsi and said he was waiting for a clean glass. When the apps showed up, not everyone had enough silverware. We asked the lady who dropped off our food for plates, and she never came back with them. The boneless wings were cold. 30 seconds after our dinners were dropped off the manager came by to ask if everything was OK and my wife asked about the "endless fries" that was a part of our dinners, and the manager bluntly said they don't do that, and we showed him the promotion that states that they do (hey the Greece location has the same thing, so we know). He awkwardly stated to take it up with the server and that the server would have to add something to the order before he just walks off. After the food was dropped off, we noticed my wife's sandwich was not the one she ordered and drowning in ranch. We didn't want to wait another 20-30 minutes so we didn't send it back. My son's pizza was slightly burnt, and the drinks were so loaded up with ice, we had to keep asking for refills on the rare occasion we saw a server. The server we had was nice though, but this place is way understaffed. My family likes Applebee's, but I don't see us coming back to this one. We had a great experience at the Greece location just last month, I'd recommend that for now if you don't want a sub-par experience.

There were 9 of us, the table they gave us was a little cramped, 20-30min after we were seated they put a couple with 4 kids at a much larger table! BIG complaint we ordered 2 mixed drinks when we placed our food orders about 7 min to get waters no drinks, salads appetizers came no drinks , our meal comes we asked about the drinks the waitress states the bartender had to still make them! 4 people at the bar!, restaurant not busy(go figure) we all, all 9 of us consumed our meals , my dish warm not hot, and waitress states as running by we should have the drinks soon, we are done with mostly dirty dishes in front of us, only one of us had leftovers, soon I saw her at a table behind us and called her over and told her to cancel the drinks and remove them from our bill as we were ready to leave we had been there an hour and 40 minutes! She said O.K. shortly she and the bartender came with the drinks but stated we would not be charged, fist we refused by we were curious to try at this point a fee sips each is all we could do as we are done, I will stay they were delicious, I normally don't go to Applebee's as I find the restaurant were cold, it has been a few years for me, my guest had just gone to the Applebee's in Greece last week and had a great experience and because I live in Irondequoit they traveled here, well the restaurant was surprisingly warm, so we pd the check I did tip 18% since the free drinks we kind of an acknowledgement that the time frame was unacceptable, we left with all the dirty dishes still on the table, I don't think this location will last, after this it's probably a long time before I go to another Applebee's, and NEVER this one, my guest said we could have met in Webster, I live between the 2, but I didn't think they needed to drive another 20 min, my advice is to AVOID, I will be! Actually no interest in F/U from Co, I'm writing this review to warn potential customers, when I review your reviews management obviously doesn't really care! No F/U needed from Applebee's, I will not be back! Certainly never at the Irondequoit store.

The smell is horrible, idk how anyone can even sit down and eat there (and it’s been like this the last 3 times I’ve picked up my order) the staff were RUDE! No one came out for curb side so I went in and stood there for almost 15 minutes before someone helped me and then they had me pay at the bar, the customers at the bar were drunk and rude encouraging the host not to cash me out… the one who got my food and passed me off had a sucky attitude and then the guy who eventually cashed me out, cashed me out but seemed annoyed that he had to be bothered with the task of doing so… highly unprofessional and wish there was one closer so I didn’t have to go to this one for my take out order.

We were greeted and seated very quickly which was nice. However, it was pretty slow in there at the time. Waitress was polite. When our appetizers arrived they were sat on our table by another person and they didn't bring us plates, silverware or napkins. We were all leaning over the table dropping pieces of our food on the table. Had to get up to go to the bar to ask for plates and napkins and utensils. My mashed potatoes were pretty sticky and a clump of overly thickness. My salmon was dry. After coming out of the restroom. One of the workers was spraying perfume on her smoke- covered clothes. Used to love going to Applebee's.. but this definitely left me not desiring to return to this location.

The food was totally DISGUSTING! I had chicken Parmesan the pasta was undercooked the sauce was jar sauce. Then we ordered just appetizers quesadillas were salty the and the chicken tacos were trash. I felt really bad because the server was nice polite and understanding and very accommodating. Considering all things the server did get a nice tip. And they did take all the meals off, so we did not have to pay for a meal considering

I ordered food everything I received was cold !!! Stone cold my broccoli is still raw and not seasoned like it was supposed to be, my chicken isn’t sauced like it’s supposed to be and the breading on the chicken is very soggy as if the chicken is old and steak omg I wasn’t even able to put the fork in it in order to cut it due to how hard it is.. I am totally disgusted I regularly order from this particular Applebees but after tonight I think I’ll be done with all Applebees locations this was totally unacceptable!

Our poor waiter was overworked but sadly that led to minimal service, our chicken wasn’t cooked thoroughly ( as shown above, supposedly the same sauce… we had to reorder because it was FREEZING ) and it smelt like a mixture of terribly old oil and sewage. I don’t typically write reviews unless it’s astonishing or just downright nearly inedible. If you want a similar vibe that lives up to expectations I recommend the Chili’s in Victor! :)

Unfortunately my grubhub goes here to put my orders in. 7 out of 10 times something is always missing in my order. Last week I got food poisoning from a cheeseburger that was under cooked. Luckily it knocked me down only for two days. Do not recommend for ordering take out. I’ve spent a lot of money here. To always come up missing something and now food poisoning. I don’t think I will return to Applebees anytime soon. Side note the lava cake is awesome when they remember to put the ice cream with it!

Maybe 10 people in the place. Food took forever. Burgers where raw. Maybe 5 French fries on the plate. Everything soaked in grease. No silverware brought to us. Had to ask for everything and it like we whete bothering them. Never again

Me and a friend walked in at the same time as a family of five. And both parties walked out because we were frustrated of not being able to get served. Even though the restaurant looked empty enough for us to get easy service. Don't understand when they had enough tables to serve both of our parties. We were left the front to wait. And to wait for who knows what's an extended time if we didn't walk out. So we definitely will not be coming back to this location because of the poor service they gave us. Considering the staff did not acknowledge me and my friend. Or The family of five that came in the same time that we did. Applebee's you can do better. We only came to this location because the Greece New York location was packed.

Absolutely pissed off at the bartender she was rude to me and took so long to bring out my friends food to the point where we almost said forget about it and I ordered a milkshake and it just never got made. Bartender also disappeared for mad long no where to be found then saw her and a couple other workers in the corner looking out the window for why I have no clue never coming back to this location again

On 11/8, my son and went to Applebee's on East Ridge Road at about 4:30pm. We were setted quickly and that was the only thing right about the evening! There did not seem to be many wait staff. The bartender finally took our order! The wait for the food was very very long! While we were waiting a child of about 11 was sitting at the front table behind the hostess. She was not sitting still, she was jumping up and down, dancing around the front of the table and at times following the hostess {her mother?} This was a very unpleasent experence! I will never go back to that Applebee's again!

Went to the gym late today so popped in applebees for a quick bite instead of cooking. Well, I have never ever been ignored in a restaurant. We literally sat at the bar tonight for over 15 minutes. We watched as two bartenders interacted with the only two other customers repeatedly while we weren't even greeted. We sat patiently thinking that when they wrapped up and cashed out the two clients that they would come see if we needed anything. They looked right thru us and walked away. At this point being the peaceful human I am i walked out but that was the worst customer service ever! Do better Applebee's 🙄

Haven't been to Applebee's in years Not my usual place to go eat steak but I just wanted something quick and the fact that they have late hours is definitely appreciated I work late so it came in handy and decided to give it a try again after many years it wasn't that bad but could have been a wayyy better experience the service was just not there to start off I saw the person who sat me down numerous of times as she tried to give me some attention while completing her tasks I think she noticed that I wasn't being attended correctly really very nice Spanish lady literally interacted with me more than I saw my waiter my food was brought by different people definitely not the same waiter that I got my drinks from the place was empty so I don't understand why was she not being attentive I ordered Bourbon Street steak it attracted me because a person by me got the same thing unfortunately mines was definitely not sizzling like theirs was 👎I could tell my plate sat there for a while portions and plating OMG I felt like I was eating at a toy store what you got on the plate was definitely not what you saw on the menu portions definitely got lost in the plate maybe Applebee's should choose smaller plates if their portions are going to be so small it was disappointing and comical at the same time I could not believe what I was looking at it looked like tiny play food when we got our food that was the last time the waitress came over no one came over to ask if we wanted dessert or anything else at that point i was just disappointed and out of patience service could have been way better I literally ended up checking myself out on that small game kiosk and yess of course I left a tip even though I got bad service from the waitress I didn't know what was really going on behind the scene so I still left a tip I just hope she realizes that the attention and quality of service that she gives the customer will determine the amount of tips she gets maybe it's her first job I'm not sure of the situation that was going on last night so I didn't address the manager I didn't want him to think I wanted a freebie which I didn't I paid my bill in full with tip I just really wanted to voice out the unpleasant experience I used to be a waitress too and I know it's not an easy job i hope you guys can address the situation so future guests can have a pleasant visit 🤞

They always take very long time to prepare an order. And last time bathrooms were a huge mess!
