Fiesta Cafe Bar Rochester Reviews
I love Fiesta! The owners and staff of this restaurant are so kind and friendly. They know how to host well and make sure you feel appreciated. The food never disappoints and I love that they're also willing to help spread the word about other businesses in town to help them grow! The outdoor seating option and patio is welcoming and the plants are pretty. The music is perfect and the atmosphere is pleasant. One of the best Mexican restaurants in Rochester! Thank you for continuing to serve the community well :D Even the kids menu does not disappoint.
A forever favorite! The food, drinks, service, and people here are the best!
Had a great meal with family - I had the Carne Asda Tacos and absolutely loved them! And don't get me started on the margarita... Just everything I wanted in a mexican
Food was solid. Portions good sized. Service was good. I would give them 4.5.... 4 seemed to low and 5 seemed too perfect
This is an amazing restaurant. We tried their Margaritas which were fantastic and went back the next day to eat lunch. The food was great too. We are making this our go to Mexican Restaurant.
I had the steak fajitas and my husband had the torta. We both enjoyed our food very much. We would recommend Fiesta Cafe Bar.
I wasn't going to ask a Mexican restaurant to make some fries so I could try my normal food test. Instead, I had the free, freshly made chips and salsa they serve you. It delicious. They're both made fresh every day using authentic ingredients. Disregard the one-star review saying the salsa was horrible. That is just ignorant. This is how it is made in mexico! I received great friendly service the entire time. And I love the atmosphere. I had the Supreme burrito that was on special for $11.99. It was really good. I'm definitely coming back to try their specialty served on a hot lava rock! The server was nice enough to let le take a video of it, and a pic of the ceviche! They also had coronas on sale for $3.50. I highly recommend this place. I might become a regular.
This is a our go-to place for Mexican food. Service is always great, and the food and portions are amazing. You do not go away hungry. The Surpreme Burrito is a great choice as are the Fajitas. One amazing dish for two people is the Volcano Bowl. A large, super hot, volcanic rock bowl with a lot of food in it. Stays hot for an hour or more. Called Molcajete Tamaluza. You have to try it. (Dine in only)
Great food, service and enviroment. My first time there in Rochester and the experience was complete with this great food and service. I felt very welcoming and we will return to taste more food from their extensive menú. The outdoor área should be better setup, but I imagine that was just before is just the start of the spring season and will be ready for summer shortly.
Probably the best of the "American Mexican" restaurants. I personally love their jalapeno poppers. They are completely different from what you've come to expect. Always consistent and good quality, but also nothing amazing per se. Expect the poppers. The staff seem to enjoy their jobs and the service is usually good.
Went there for lunch with buddy. We both had the burrito supremo with shredded beef which was great. It was huge, and loaded with plenty of beef and fillings. Was hot and fresh. I had the churros for dessert, which were great and received 5, which was plenty. 4 stars because our waiter never came back to check on us; had to call him back for refills and the check, and it was not busy at the time we were there. Other than that very good value for a meal with a pleasant atmosphere.
A good restaurant it is pretty clean with a lot of things to offer and they also have a kids menu. I've been coming here for years it's really good. One time on my birthday they start singing Happy Birthday to me and give me a hat to put on and give me free fried ice cream so that was really cool. I would recommend this place to eat at. It's not usually very busy at all.
Verryyy good food. Rice is good enchilada was amazing and beans are good although I’m not a bean person. Queso was lacking in my opinion, almost lost a star for that but service is great food is great and it’s a comfortable place to eat. Edit: 4th time here now. Good tasting food. They are definitely lacking in the salsa department. If your favorite thing is chips and queso or chips and salsa pick a different restaraunt. Tortilla chips are on the thicker side.
The food is good. The prices are reasonable but I am not a fan of the remodel.
Moved out of state a couple years ago and was excited to come back to my favorite Mexican place in town while visiting friends. It took forever to get our food, they got two of our meals and my margarita wrong and forgot one of our sides. The food was bland and the salsa didn’t taste like salsa. They used to have good prices and they are higher now and not worth it for the quality of food and service. Very sad to see this place go downhill.
My party and I came here because Corona’s Tacos was closed on Black Friday. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the lack of customers (first red flag). The chips and salsa were pretty stale and had a weird flavor to them. To drink, I ordered a margarita on the rocks with salt and I received a margarita on the rocks with sugar. We also had sangria. It tasted like the wine had been opened for weeks. The tacos were served on the little V-shaped taco trays (which, I’m surprised they were because that screams “not authentic”). The quesadilla tasted old and the guacamole that came with it tasted bad. Our server was attentive for the most part but he was very soft spoken. He never gave us napkins or utensils.
1st time visiting and wanted Mexican food. Specifically Asada Fries. The meal lacked salt and pepper very bland. It had no seasoning. Also the service was slow. Being there wasn't a big crowd of people, I thought it wouldn't take that long. There was a total of maybe 12-16 people there and it took about 30 minutes for my order. I decided to take it to go and went across the street for salt and pepper to eat in my car. I'm unsure about this place if I'll ever visit again. The server was ok. He seemed like he was in a rush though. I didn't understand why. But idk.
I just went in and they were nice but they didn’t know how to do a split pay on the register. I had to drive to Kwik trip which was fine. When I got back they told me that they screwed up my order so asked me if I could resolve by keeping the chicken and steak instead of steak that I ordered. She made it sound like it would be cheaper but nope no discount. So I told them I would just like my order how I ordered it. No problem all good. Just got home and the tortillas I ordered are non existent. They were not terribly busy.. so I cannot find an excuse for all this trouble. $42 was my order total and I had to 1. Drive extra because they don’t know how to split pay. 2. They screwed up my order and asked me to stay at a resolve without a discount or anything extra to say “hey sorry we screwed up”. 3. Only 1 salsa for a chips for 2. 1 Extra salsa was free, but anything else was charged. (Kinda alright considering in to-go). 4. I ordered 11 total tortillas. Got home and they completely missed the mark. No tortillas in my bag. How the hell am I to eat $42 fajitas without tortillas. They can charge an arm and a leg but when I comes to service it seems corners were cut tonight.
Came to this restaurant as a first-timer and if I could put no stars for the food I would. First, the salsa they bring out with the chips tastes like tomato sauce with the slightest taste of salsa (thought this was a Mexican food joint lol). Second, I ordered a Steak Torta that says it comes with Steak and sausage and as you can see from this photo it came out with what looks to be sliced in half HOT DOGS?!?! Not only that but instead of a cheese slice they give you two cuts of either some block cheese? Tell me this makes sense. I took maybe 2 bites of the Torta (without the hotdogs) and proceeded to ask for a discount or even the meal to be taken off or exchanged for something not so unappealing to eat. The server took $5 off the tab which is still appreciated, but then for number three reasoning my girlfriends chicken fajitas looked and tasted like pre-cooked chicken breast strips out of the great value bag at Walmart. As we got to the checkout we asked for management to hopefully speak to someone a little more understanding that neither me or my girlfriend ate our food and we got told the hot dogs are sausage (which any human who has grown up eating hot dogs and Mac knows WHAT A DAMN HOT DOG IS) and that he already added a $5 discount. Moral of the story we still had to pay $60 to a restaurant that if I wanted to I could’ve gone to Walmart and made the exact same food for cheaper. Never ever going back.
